I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money.

The shower overflowed when I used it because the drain was blocked so had to change rooms which is a real pain when you are tired and hungry as I was. Speaking of hungry it is listed as having a restaurant so i was very disappointed and surprised to be told the restaurant was closed. This was at 19:30 on a Friday night.

Très belle chambre dans l’hôtel Le Provençal de Bordeaux Lac. Literie confortable et chambre spacieuse. Salle de bain un peu à l’étroit mais j’ai vu bien pire. Très bon petit déjeuner, bien fourni. La carte pour le repas du soir est assez simple mais permet de trouver ce que l’on souhaite. Mention spéciale pour la personne de l’accueil (jeudi soir) qui est sympathique et efficace. (Merci pour votre accueil).

Service et personnel agréable. Petit déjeuner à revoir, 9h30 plus de bacon ni d'oeuf et la serveuse nous conrfirme qu'il n'y a plus d'oeuf. Moisissure dans la salle de bain et plafond dans la chambre. Un peu bruyant et salle de bain à renover.

Ne mettez pas les pieds ici ! Vu de l’extérieur et l’accueil l’hôtel paraît correct mais une fois dans les chambres c’est clairement digne d’un formule 1 bas de gamme et encore … et de plus pour une facturation à plus de 100€ la nuit ! Taches de sang et autres sur le sol, climatisation bruyante , odeur de moisissures et humidité prédominante dans les chambres au point que le linge de lit paraît humide . Menage et propreté plus qu’à désirés c’est une honte pour un hôtel . Les apparences sont trompeuses ! Je n’y remettrai jamais les pieds c’est une certitude ! Une remise en question est plus que nécessaire cher gérant du provençal surtout que votre accueil et le personnel est bien !

This is about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Bordeaux. It’s next to the convention centre and the Stade. The lake is nice, good place to walk. Was quiet. The breakfast room is nice and well set up, and was perfect for breakfast buffet. (no hot food). Not fancy but good place to sleep, take breakfast before doing tourist things. The third bed was not as comfortable as the beds with the cushion top. Not sure why the hotel has those hard third beds. We changed rooms but the second room had the same hard extra bed. Would suggest they fix that, otherwise was perfectly fine.

The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen. If you're a light sleeper like me then I can recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful. Everyone I spoke to spoke English (some really well, others just enough). Only complaint is there is no fridge in the hotel room.

Un bel endroit dommage qu’il m’est facturé deux fois mon séjour et ont été dans l’incapacité de re créditer le remboursement sur ma CB, sinon un personnel assez sympathique.

Très belle chambre dans l’hôtel Le Provençal de Bordeaux Lac. Literie confortable et chambre spacieuse. Salle de bain un peu à l’étroit mais j’ai vu bien pire. Très bon petit déjeuner, bien fourni. La carte pour le repas du soir est assez simple mais permet de trouver ce que l’on souhaite. Mention spéciale pour la personne de l’accueil (jeudi soir) qui est sympathique et efficace. (Merci pour votre accueil).

This is about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Bordeaux. It’s next to the convention centre and the Stade. The lake is nice, good place to walk. Was quiet. The breakfast room is nice and well set up, and was perfect for breakfast buffet. (no hot food). Not fancy but good place to sleep, take breakfast before doing tourist things. The third bed was not as comfortable as the beds with the cushion top. Not sure why the hotel has those hard third beds. We changed rooms but the second room had the same hard extra bed. Would suggest they fix that, otherwise was perfectly fine.

The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen. If you're a light sleeper like me then I can recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful. Everyone I spoke to spoke English (some really well, others just enough). Only complaint is there is no fridge in the hotel room.

Hôtel très bien situé à 3mn à pied des halls d expo. Chambre moderne et confortable Wifi un peu lent mais facile d accès Petit déjeuner de qualité avec qq produits locaux (miels) et du jus d orange presse (ce qui devient rare) + l habituel buffet continental européen.

Service et personnel agréable. Petit déjeuner à revoir, 9h30 plus de bacon ni d'oeuf et la serveuse nous conrfirme qu'il n'y a plus d'oeuf. Moisissure dans la salle de bain et plafond dans la chambre. Un peu bruyant et salle de bain à renover.

Das Personal was sehr freundlich. Allerdings hatte meine Kollegin mehrmals Kakerlaken in ihrem Zimmer im EG. Ich hatte Glück, dass ich im 1. OG keine Kakerlaken im Zimmer hatte. Positiv fand ich den frisch gepressten O-Saft zum Frühstück und den leckeren Kaffee.

The room was filthy. Tea and coffee stains on worktops. All surfaces dirty. Really tired triple room carpet filthy and the was a large beatle crawling across it. Booked one night for Rugby event at nearby stadium. Hotel just off main road two minutes walk from tram 20 mins to centre on tram line C. The area has numerous hotels but not alot else, couple of restaurants not the best area but was convenient for event. All the hotels have gated access to car parks and hotel. Unfortunately our main issue with hotel was gaining access to hotel. Buzzer on gate to get in did not seem to get a response from reception . When we given code to gate it didn't work. Ended up having to keep phoning reception and wait. Check in and staff were friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough. The room was light and clean. Beds were comfy. Would stay again.
