We liked this hotel very much even though the room was rather small and cozy. Check in was very easy as the gentleman in front knew it was us checking in (given we landed on the last flight of the night). Again, our room was small but it had everything we needed. The shower is a shower stall in the middle of the room which was unique. Our room had a balcony (we were on the 2nd floor so not very high up) and we had a nice view of the Grande Plage. The fridge was not cold, however. Breakfast was good and had ample options (toasts, croissants and pain au chocolate, yogurts, cottave cheese, French-style scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, veggies and fruits, lox and hard boiled eggs. Service was friendly. Do note no gym or pool but they have towels for the beach. Front desk can get you a taxi to the train station or airport or day trips. We would stay again.

No on site parking is a problem. Extremely busy everywhere so hard parking anywhere close. Must be murder in the season we were there in December. Great restaurant for dinner at the hotel and breakfast was great. Room fine, sea view lovely and you can hear the ocean. Very clean and well run. Would love to return only the parking would stop me.

Ikke et hotel, der egner sig til gangbesværede, der er for mange trapper fra det offentlige parkeringsanlæg til receptionen på hotellet. Elevatoren er klaustrofobisk lille. Wifi forbindelsen var ringe. Dejligt værelse med havudsigt på 5. sal med godt badeværelse med velfungerende bruseniche. Morgenmaden var virkelig god - en stor buffet med et stort, godt og varieret udvalg.

Pros: 1. Excellent location right off the Grand Beach, walkable to all main attractions in Biarritz. 2. Full breakfast with great selection of cheeses, meats, baked goods, freshly squeezed juices, delicious yogurts, etc… 3. Friendly multilingual staff Cons: 1. Room (deluxe ocean front) was extremely tiny. If u have more than one suitcase there’ll be no room to walk around. 2. Walls are not soundproof at all, so you’ll hear everything from neighboring rooms and floor above. 3. WiFi in the room is non existent as soon as you close your room door. It only works in the lobby and downstairs cafeteria. 4. There’s only one elevator with maximum capacity for 2 ppl or 2 suitcases and a person, so be prepared to wait a while or take the stairs.

BUT WIFI for my tablet in the room kept dropping off - had to use Personal Hotspot. Single elevator for two people covering 7 floors means you may have to wait or walk the stairs. Overall good experience.

Hôtel de qualité. Nous avions une chambre standard. Sol mal lavé: empreintes de chaussures sur carrelage et parquet. ventilation ne fonctionnait pas, il faisait très chaud. We were in room 107, which was below reception. Both nights (ALL night) were extremely noisy, between footsteps, doors slamming, carts rolling etc, we had NO sleep from 2:30am onwards. We tried a noise app the second night but it did not help. The hotel was lovely otherwise, so I would still recommend, but do not accept rooms 106 or 107.

Enjoyed my stay here. The room (403) has an amazing view of the ocean, Grande Beach and the promenade. Location is excellent for town too. Room is small but was traveling alone so was fine. The shower is the middle of room, which was odd but interesting. Hotel staff were excellent as well. Included breakfast, which wasn’t fancy but was fine and had freshly squeezed juices and variety of breads. The spaces in the property are on small side overall, and you can hear a little walking around upstairs. But I would definitely stay here again.

Hôtel très bien situé, accueillant, dommage que ça se soit terminé par une très grosse contrariété. Nous avons oublié des vêtements dans le placard de la chambre, l'hôtel a eu la gentillesse de nous appeler pour nous donner cette information mais hélas à notre retour pour venir les récupérer fort de constater qu'il manquait un vêtement. Il suffit d'un membre du personnel pour faire chuter la cote de l'hôtel. Nous reviendrons à Biarritz mais plus à l'hôtel Windsor

Right off the beach!! Close to everything. Super friendly staff in particular Emma who secured me a dinner reservation at at hard to get into restaurant on a Friday night. And I loved the baggage holding service before and after check-in and the offer of a shower after checking out near the reception desk so I could enjoy one more ocean swimming experience. Just wonderful all around.

Hôtel au « centre » de Biarritz et situé à 2 minutes de la plage, le véhicule peut donc rester sur place sans souci. Il faut tout de même trouver un emplacement gratuit…néanmoins, en cherchant bien, cela vaut le coup. Personnel très agréable et au service de la clientèle. Très bon petit-déjeuner et chambre confortable.

Our stay at Hotel Windsor was 4.5 out of 5 stars. They provide everything needed in terms of location, price, and overall service. Bel hotel, bien situé au centre de Biarritz. mais évitez les chambres sur rue, trop bruyantes. Le concept du petit dej a commander la veille même si vous le prenez au lobby n'est pas idéal. cela oblige a savoir ce que vous allez manger la veille et surtout si vous êtes en groupe, vous devez descendre au même moment. Heureusement que le personnel est top est très serviable pour compenser. La qualité des produits servis est très bien, et est souvent locale.
