Location is excellent. The pool is also fantastic just be aware there is no shallow end. Lack of A/C was a big drawback given the 30C temps. Also unfortunately they do not clean the rooms during your stay. We were there for 5 nights so the room easily got quite messy

A cracking property! We loved the location; close to Les Halles (food market), the petit plage, shops, restaurants, all within 5/10 mins walk. We also loved having a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the sea. The 17m pool (heated at end of May!) with sun loungers was also awesome!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a king and bunks and a sofa that would accommodate a child. The kitchen was very well equipped for about 6 people and had both a stove and microwave. An airer and balcony helped clothes dry. There is a laundry that uses tokens which is an advantage.

Really helpful staff, we loved the pool and the location! Although the apartments were basic they were clean and well equipped! Nice touch having ice made in the freezer! Appreciated the fan as no air con and the clothes rack to dry out swimwear on was handy! Only one lift working so a bit of a wait at times and we did hear a lot of noise from the family above which was a little annoying!

Our efficiency suite had a small kitchen and a fabulous balcony overlooking the ocean. Unforgettable. Front desk staff were delightful and very helpful. Parking was appreciated, as we walked everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed renting e-bikes 2 blocks away and exploring the city, lighthouse, beaches, and nearby village.

For the price and convenience of location this is a brilliant stay in Biarritz. We travelled as a family of four for surfing. Cote des basque main surf beach is across the road and down the promenade, 5 minutes in the opposite direction you are in the town centre with supermarket, bakery, market, restaurants and shops. Follow the road along the coast for a beautiful walk through old town beach, many sights and to the port/town. The heated swimming pool was great and there are laundry, table tennis in the basement. Bar was not open when we stayed but would have been useful for the odd drink. Baggage store and very friendly and helpful reception staff adds to the welcome vibe of the hotel. The building itself and rooms are dated (think this is normal for this style hotel in France) but everywhere was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchenette well equipped for breakfasts and light lunch at the room. Room also had a balcony, sea view and clothes rack to hang the wetsuits to dry - perfect! Thanks to all for a fabulous stay :-)

À notre arrivée, la réceptionniste nous a annoncé que vu que nous avions réservé via votre plate-forme nous aurions un logement aléatoire et donc dans la résidence annexe du Grand Large, les Nouveaux Horizons. En effet selon elle il aurait fallu réserver directement sur le site de la résidence à des tarifs quasiment multipliés par deux pour cette période. Le logement est équipé comme ceux du Grand Large et propre (mis à part des fourmis). Par contre il est au bord d’une rue très passante en montée où les scooters et les motos accélèrent jusqu’à 2 heures du matin et les livreurs et employés municipaux arrivent vers 6h00. En période de canicule il était inimaginable de dormir les fenêtres fermées. Nuits donc très courtes et pas reposantes. À la fin du séjour, étonnamment (ou pas) cette même réceptionniste ne nous a pas demandé comment s’était passé le séjour car elle savait très bien la réponse qu’elle allait avoir. On est des habitués de cet hôtel et on savait que cet annexe était invivable. Une question se pose alors : en commandant sur Hôtels.com seront nous désormais systématiquement sous-classé et récupérerons nous les « invendus » dont personne ne veut ?

I got a family room. It was large and comfortable. The view was the best part of the stay. If I may I could like to comment on 2 things. 1. There were fruitflies size flies were in my room. I don't know many I killed. 2. I was responsible for taking out the garbage at the end of the stay. I found it strange.

The property was as expected. The only thing i can say i found unusual was that we were expected to clean our room before check out. We were to take out our own garbage and vacuum if needed, or wash our own dishes. Dishes makes sense, and of course i dont mind taking out our garbage, its just very unusual, and i was shocked that we should be expected to vacuum. But the room was as advertized. The bed wasnt very comfortable though.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. It is easily walkable to everything - shops, restaurants and each of the beaches. Each time our room has been fresh and clean, with a good sized balcony with lovely view of both the city and the sea. Kitchenette is well appointed. The pool is very nice. The reception staff have all been very helpful. It’s really just a great place to stay and I would definitely come back.

Beautiful location right next to a surfing beach. Have no fears about being on the first floor as every floor has a great view due to the height of the building. As its a residence and not a hotel dont expect daily cleaning but more of a condo feel.

The hotel consists of two buildings, a seemingly newer high rise and a 1970’s low rise. We had the misfortune of being assigned a room in the 1970’s building. Although the views were gorgeous, the building had no air conditioning, and because of the heat and humidity, we had no choice but to leave the windows open to get some reprieve from the heat. Unfortunately, this meant having to put up with very noisy motorcycles racing along the street in front of the building and kids yelling until 1:30 am. We had hardly any sleep for the three nights we were there and were very glad to leave.

Staff were all excellent and room had everything needed . We were not in main building but small building opposite with fabulous view over the water with only slight noise problem from road slightly offsetting the view. We would definitely stay again but would say that it needs a refurb and a spruce up.

We had in fact a very spacious apartment as our room. Interior and decoration needs a update. Everything worked and was clean. Building at perfect location. Only remark is that it had no airco.

For starters even though we were early checking in, there was no effort to get us a room, we waited from 12:30 to 4:30 to be able to get in the room. ( they have a very late check in time :4 pm.)Still,we were the only ones at the lobby and they weren’t able to get us in on time. I booked an ocean view unit.We got a unit on the 2 floor right above the main entrance facing a big building, yes, standing outside the balcony I could see the ocean through some trees and on the right. Also, it was super noisy ( starting with motorcycles at 6:30 am)and since there is no a/c you have no choice but to leave the windows open. The location is good with easy access to main places in town. If you are driving the parking is good and convenient. Would not stay again.Worst stay of our 60 days trip through Europe. Definitely ask for a high floor.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. It is easily walkable to everything - shops, restaurants and each of the beaches. Each time our room has been fresh and clean, with a good sized balcony with lovely view of both the city and the sea. Kitchenette is well appointed. The pool is very nice. The reception staff have all been very helpful. It’s really just a great place to stay and I would definitely come back.

Our efficiency suite had a small kitchen and a fabulous balcony overlooking the ocean. Unforgettable. Front desk staff were delightful and very helpful. Parking was appreciated, as we walked everywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed renting e-bikes 2 blocks away and exploring the city, lighthouse, beaches, and nearby village.

An icecold hotel with a reception clerc with an attitude. No information regarding the pracical issues and all written information we found in the recepteion was ........ yes, in French only! There was planned maintancework going on on the roof and we got a room on the top floor with no information about the drilling and hammering going on from early morning. I am pretty sure the hotel was not nearly full and we could have had another room. Nearly got a heart attac.

Great location in Biarritz just a block from the cliffs overlooking Plage Côte des Basques. Also very walkable to everything to see and do in Biarritz and public transportation options from Jardin Public and Hélianthe bus stops. So it was easy and cheap to get to/from the airport and train stations (to go to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye and on to San Sebastian, Spain, for easy day trips) on public transport, as well as bus lines to Bayonne and Bidart, etc. The rooms are huge, and I had a nice balcony with ocean views to the Lighthouse. I left the balcony door open at night and loved hearing the sound of the ocean waves all night long. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Ludavic, who helped answer all my questions. There's a nice pool, too! I didn’t eat breakfast there, so can't comment on it, but there are a lots of great dining options within a few blocks, and the Carrefour supermarket and Les Halles are only 3 blocks away. The property itself is a bit dated, but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Check in was fast and easy, parking right outside the building, views of the bay from our balcony, easy walk to shops and all manner of cafes. Beach is also an easy walk. Prepare to climb hills, wear comfy shoes.

Very good resort in Biarritz, right in the middle of all the action, yet quiet and peaceful, as it is a block away from the "direct hit" from the market and the beach access points. Great views from upper floor balconies

The breakfast was very good but only 2 coffee machines for so many people was not enough. Staff very friendly if I go back to Biarritz I will definitely stay there again . The view from the balcony was marvellous !

Great central property for our 4 night stay. Had a seaview room on 4th floor which was great for having breakfast and evening drinks on the balcony. Plenty towels and toiletries hairdryer in bathroom 👍 Enjoyed the swimming pool with weather being good - the property had warnings up saying paddling pool out of use due to problems but plenty sunbeds and brollies for use by it as well. Did not use resturant so cannot comment.

Una bella stanza con splendida terrazza di fronte all'oceano:basterebbe questo x valutare assai positivamente questo Residence. Reception cortese ed efficiente,comodo posto macchina coperto e centro di Biarritz a due passi. Unici due piccoli appunti: mancanza del bar(almeno in settembre) e colazione a buffet migliorabile. Comunque consigliatissimo!!!

For the price and convenience of location this is a brilliant stay in Biarritz. We travelled as a family of four for surfing. Cote des basque main surf beach is across the road and down the promenade, 5 minutes in the opposite direction you are in the town centre with supermarket, bakery, market, restaurants and shops. Follow the road along the coast for a beautiful walk through old town beach, many sights and to the port/town. The heated swimming pool was great and there are laundry, table tennis in the basement. Bar was not open when we stayed but would have been useful for the odd drink. Baggage store and very friendly and helpful reception staff adds to the welcome vibe of the hotel. The building itself and rooms are dated (think this is normal for this style hotel in France) but everywhere was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchenette well equipped for breakfasts and light lunch at the room. Room also had a balcony, sea view and clothes rack to hang the wetsuits to dry - perfect! Thanks to all for a fabulous stay :-)

Just as pictured. Lovely. The walk to 'surf beach' so dreamy (also a workout). There was a music festival on the water while I was there - such a treat! So many shops, places to eat, the coastline, all a dream.
