Our room was on Mair St which was a busy therefore noisy road. We also had people standing outside our room smoking as you cant smoke within the motel grounds. We had this late at night and early morning and could also smell the smoke in our room. I wouldnt recommend this motel for a leisure visit, fine for business visits.

Stayed here a couple of times. Always consistent. Good quality rooms and amenities, with direct access to the City Oval Hotel for dinner or a drink. Would highly recommend.

We only booked for one night, a stopover on the way to Melbourne. The room was very large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. We ate at the pub that is part of the motel and the meal was very nice. The next morning we wandered down to the yacht club, which is just a few minutes away, for an excellent breakfast.

However, during our 2-night stay, I expected the room to be cleaned and vacuumed on the second day, but only the beds were made. Being an older style property the room did smell bit off and the toilet didn't flush properly. The beds were small being double but that being said the mattress was comfortable. Foxtel was offered but kept failing

Very roomy, comfortable bed and little luxuries like a coffee pod machine. Beautiful shower with no problems with water pressure. No traffic noises too as it is off the main road and close to the lake.

I appreciated the lady at the desk recognize my name, even though I did send it which expedient and she put me in the usual room that we usually have because we’re not very good at climbing stairs. The bed was absolute beautiful and it was warm I lovely stay

Staff, we felt like criminals after they locked us out of our room. We put our tea & drinks back to our room to pay for when we left in two days time but was rung up to bring a credit card in. We were exploring Ballarat & didn’t make it back till late & this is when we found out our door was locked. Our credit cards were in the locked room so pretty hard to pay, no apology when we went to see what the problem was, only pay up. Then we were sent an email explaining why it happened, very bad customer service. On departure the manager didn’t even keep eye contact or asked as normal ‘ how was your stay’ to say we will not stay at this place again. Never been treated like a criminal before.
