Breakfast was exceptional! Everything was fresh and delicious and there was an incredible variety of food and beverages. There were some renovations going on but that didn’t interfere with a quiet stay. I’m sure the cosmetic improvements will only make this place even better. Customer service was top notch!

Hatten ein Behinderten Zimmer, dadurch viel Platz. Gute Lage, kurzer Weg in die Einkaufsstraße und zum Hafen. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr möglich, am besten vorher reservieren. Nur wenige Parkplätze. Frühstück war gut, aber nur begrenzte Sitzplätze. Wenn Hotel gut gebucht, dann Wartezeit möglich.

Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast had a lot of variety. It was very welcoming and had lots of sitting area in lobby for our family to talk and play some table games. Close to many excellent restaurants and had access to a gym around the corner. Booked northern lights trip, whale watching and reindeer sleigh ride- all were worth the trip.

Zimmer 706 ließ keine Wünsche offen: großzügig, modern, ruhig, super-bequeme Betten auch für große Menschen> 1,90 m !! mit langer, warmer Bettdecke !! Unüblicherweise waren wir 1 Woche dort. Normalerweise nur Gäste für 1 oder 2 Übernachtungen. Rezeption hervorragend, Getränke von der Rezeption rund um die Uhr, für Norwegen erschwingliches Abendbuffet von Mo - Do, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück ab 7.00 h - wir können es nur empfehlen.

We only stayed one night. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms very comfortable and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in the centre of town, so great location too. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and beautifully presented. We did not eat buffet dinner (Monday - Thursday - though the food looked delicious)

For the sake of fairness, the breakfast was good, the view from the room was lovely, and the superior room was spacious. However, this hotel is downright gross! The room was dirty with mold in the shower caulking and built-up dirt in the window frame. It felt generally dusty. As an asthmatic, I felt it with every breath. The floors must not have been swept nor scrubbed in a while; after walking from the bathroom to the bed after a shower, my feet were filthy from the floors. The room was so dusty that we kept the windows open for three days in freezing weather to get fresh air. Additionally, the bathroom is AWFUL. Not only is it super dated, the bath tub/shower combo is also risky. The bottom is extremely slippery and narrow, making it difficult to stand comfortably while showering. I am 5'7 and have long legs; getting in and out was a hike! I don't know how shorter legged and older folks would manage without slipping. The half door did nothing to keep water in, and the floor mat was completely soaked after one shower. The water gets warm at best but never hot. It is just a terribly designed and completely unkempt bathroom. I would find a better hotel in Tromso. Completely regret booking this one.

Amazing view on the Cathedral (a clean window would've made it even better). Great breakfast. Staff at reception very helpful and professional. This earns a good review, but.... I found the TV bearing on. The hand soap was completely empty; small detail in a bigger picture: had the room actually been cleaned? It seems so and they got me the soap in the end. The room (and the hotel) looks in need of some reparing here and there. Quite cold even with the heating at full steam. Luckily I could use the other duvet. I'm not new to Northern climate. I didn't mention anything. I was staying only two nights and didn't want anyone in my room. In general I found it overpriced. But the potential is good.

Aging property in need of a renovation It's a very small room for three people, The crazy thing about that is they actually had a bunkbed above the pullout bed so four people could share this miniature room. The main beds were OK, the third extra bed was hard as a board. Room itself was extremely hot at night with no ability to open a window, other than maybe an inch and no air conditioning in the room. If you open the window and you're staying there in the summer, you have to close the blinds because otherwise you were sleeping in a bright room and when you close the blinds, there is zero airflow so that was difficult. He needs to get people a fan. The breakfast is OK the positive, it's in a really great location walking distance to everything. The front desk staff is helpful.

Very basic room that felt quite dark and dated. Our bedroom window faced out into the hotel so we had no natural light or a view. The bed was soft, which I quite like but only one pillow each wasn’t great for us. The breakfast was lovely and varied. There was a lovely and peaceful sitting area on the ground floor where I enjoyed reading whilst watching the snow outside.

Soundproofing of the walls seemed great, though there was a sound that kicked in every now and then (more noticeable in the evening when it's quiet) to which I think it had something to do with the heating? Other than that, breakfast was plentiful and of quality. Would stay there again.

Værelse vi havde booket var familie rum til 4 Pers - men der var ikke slået den 4 seng ud ved ankomst hvorfor vi måtte have fat i personalet let i receptionen igen for at få den sidste seng gjort tilgængelige. We booked a family room (2 bunk beds 2 other beds) well in advance of our trip. The first room we were given had 1 double bed. We returned to the front desk and were told we should have moved the furniture. We asked for a room with 2 beds and were reassigned to a second room. It also had 1 bed with one mattress, making it impossible to move the furniture and create 2 beds. We returned to the front desk, and after being told sharing a bed was “better than sleeping outside,” we suggested the hotel associate provide us with a second room. The second room was a single, the lowest category available. It was a sad and dismal space but it was 1:00 am at that point, so we cut our losses and went to sleep. The included breakfast was good with lots of variety.

The staff here was very helpful and friendly every time I came by with a question. The location in Tromsø is unbeatable. You can walk anywhere in the city center within 10 minutes or less. The room itself is a little worn and plain for the price you are paying, but everything else about the hotel made up for it. The lobby area is a nice place to sit and relax at and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, I loved my stay here.
