We needed somewhere to stay last minute that was budget friendly and we plumped for this thinking it had the bonus of a pool. While the accommodation was clean and the AC worked well, the bathroom was too cramped. Manageable for 3 nights but wouldn’t want any more. The place is obviously well loved by Portuguese families. However we didn’t end up using the pool at all as it was small for the amount of people in the place, so full of groups of people chatting in the pool and the water was murky and the tiles around the edge were dirty and off putting. Many of the houses need repainting and some of the pathways were in desperate need of repair. Loved Cabanas and Tavira but wouldn’t return! Considering we didn’t use the pool or any of the facilities I also didn’t think it was value for money and that was with money off Expedia due to a money off reward I had used. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful.

Parfait!! Que dire ? Les logements sont propres. Très pratique si on veut faire à manger sur place il y a déjà tout. Le plus c'est le transport gratuit jusqu'à la plage en bateau. La réception est accessible 24h/24 sans stress quand on doit arriver tard et partir tôt. Merci pour le séjour !!

Lovely complex with great pool cafe and restaurant. Good location for surrounding restaurants. Supply train and boat transfer to beach for free. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They offer free yoga classes. Spa treatments & raquet sports and bowls are charged as extra.

Easy check-in, convenient parking right in front of our little cabin, wonderful to be able to take the train to the boat to get to the beach. We had a wonderful time.

The staff were helpful, friendly and polite and the facilities on site were good. It was also in a good location within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the seafront. The supermarket on site was also convenient and well stocked. Our apartment was in a quiet part of the compex, but it was not the cleanest and it was cold. It was winter and raining, but the two air conditioners didn't warm it sufficiently. An example of cleanliness is the cupboard doors in the kitchen were sticky, also lots of cobwebs behind the bedroom door. The apartment was also infested everywhere with ants, so had to buy ant killer. Other apartments may be better, but ours was not great. We weren't asked about our stay on check out, so we didn't offer feedback.

Settimana perfetta, location bellissima. Appartamenti appena ristrutturati e pulitissimi, dimensioni più che sufficienti per 4 persone. Bellissimo spazio esterno e possibilità tennis, padel, supermercato… spiaggia CABANAs bellissima e servita con la barca del villaggio. Da migliorare: piscina un po’ piccina per tutta la gente presente e, consiglio, rendete obbligatoria la cuffia! Voto globale 10!

Good location less than 10 m.walk to waterfront. Development looking a bit tired in places but clean and well run. Staff all very helpful if not overly cheerful. Pool area not really sufficient for size of development. Could do with second, adult only pool.

Et dejligt sted i rolige omgivelser og tæt på Cabanas med mange spise- og indkøbsmuligheder, hvis man vil lave sin egen mad. Desværre kunne vi ikke komme ud på den strand, som billederne viser, da vi har hund med🤗 Tennisbanerne er hardcourt og ikke så gode at spille på. Der er til gengæld god gang i padelbanerne. Husene er meget forskellige … men gå efter et lidt større og nyrenoveret hvis muligt. Vi havde nogle skønne dage her 🌞

Det er ok! Personalet er imponerende imødekommende, høflige og meget villige til at hjælpe. Værelset/huset havde hvad man forventer, men bærer præg af at have en del år bag sig. Sengene er utrolige hårde, måske standard i Portugal. Områdets faciliteter var super. Pool, tennis padle - vi brugte det hele:-) Vores ophold var med halvpension. Overordnet set er det i gen grund til at beklage sig. Maden fejler absolut intet, men udvalget er til den begrænsede side. Når det er sagt må man bestille fra deres menu kort, hvis dagens menu ikke findes interessant - og det et top service.

Die Sauberkeit in unserem Appartement lies doch sehr zu wünschen übrig, überall Spinnenweben und Staub, auf den Nachtischen ein dicke Staubschicht, unterm Bett und den Stühlen Spinnenweben. Der Boden wurde in der Woche nur einmal gereinigt. Im Netz sind nur Fotos der renovierten Appartements, wir hatten ein nicht renoviertes, das sieht dann ganz anders aus. Keine Dusche, nur eine alte Badewanne, nicht schön

We had a wonderful stay at Pedras da Rainha. Checkin/out were easy, the room was very clean, and the property was well-maintained. We brought our dog with us and it was the simplest, no-hassle pet experience ever. The location was excellent - just down the road from charming restaurants and shops plus a walkable boardwalk. A quick 10-minute drive has you in Tavira proper or in the other direction, at a bright sandy beach. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Arrived around 22:00 and was given a small map with my apartment circled in pen and sent then to move in on my own. It took me approximately 40 minutes to find it in the dark!. When I did find it I entered the studio door to find a large cockroach on my bed pillow?!. I complained about my exsperince at reception the next day. The resort in general has a run down feeling about it with Dirty outside walls and my staircase was covered in bird mess. There is way too much noise from barking dogs during the day and I won’t be staying here again. No where near worth the money I paid.

Our stay was peaceful, excellent service, very clean and plenty of fresh laundry, the pool was extremely clean and a really nice bar to use day or night, will definitely be returning soon thankyou to all the helpful staff 👍fantastic location close to the beach and bars and many restaurants

Roaches in the room welcomed us. We left and did not spend the night. When we checked in, there was another guest in a different room, complaining of 3 roaches walking on their walls. The room was very warm and humid.

Everything was great and the staff was awesome. The only negatives were the kitchen was too dark, the fireplace smoke odor was overpowering and strong, and the front door and car were always full of pidgeon poop. Trimming the trees should solve the pidgeon poop issue. We didn’t know the WiFi router had to be rented and there were none available for the first week. All the shortcomings were made up by the great staff.

So enjoyed our short stay…room was clean…didn’t have air conditioning but tell tell the desk the next morning but we survived with the patio door with screening for air circulation! Did enjoy the continental breakfast and leisurely stroll for some sight seeing down at the inlet…my friend is interested in long term rental in the off season and would certainly consider this property as would I.

I have just returned from a short break at Pedras - my 4 th time here and will be returning again next year. I love the tranquility and convenience of the place. The staff are just lovely and so very helpful. Very comfortable accommodation especially enjoy the amazing pool! Thank you Pedras for another revitalising break!

We had a wonderful stay at Pedras da Rainha. Checkin/out were easy, the room was very clean, and the property was well-maintained. We brought our dog with us and it was the simplest, no-hassle pet experience ever. The location was excellent - just down the road from charming restaurants and shops plus a walkable boardwalk. A quick 10-minute drive has you in Tavira proper or in the other direction, at a bright sandy beach. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Parfait!! Que dire ? Les logements sont propres. Très pratique si on veut faire à manger sur place il y a déjà tout. Le plus c'est le transport gratuit jusqu'à la plage en bateau. La réception est accessible 24h/24 sans stress quand on doit arriver tard et partir tôt. Merci pour le séjour !!

Arrived around 22:00 and was given a small map with my apartment circled in pen and sent then to move in on my own. It took me approximately 40 minutes to find it in the dark!. When I did find it I entered the studio door to find a large cockroach on my bed pillow?!. I complained about my exsperince at reception the next day. The resort in general has a run down feeling about it with Dirty outside walls and my staircase was covered in bird mess. There is way too much noise from barking dogs during the day and I won’t be staying here again. No where near worth the money I paid.

The supermarket on site was also convenient and well stocked. Our apartment was in a quiet part of the compex, but it was not the cleanest and it was cold. Det er ok! Personalet er imponerende imødekommende, høflige og meget villige til at hjælpe. Værelset/huset havde hvad man forventer, men bærer præg af at have en del år bag sig. Et dejligt sted i rolige omgivelser og tæt på Cabanas med mange spise- og indkøbsmuligheder, hvis man vil lave sin egen mad. Desværre kunne vi ikke komme ud på den strand, som billederne viser, da vi har hund med🤗 Tennisbanerne er hardcourt og ikke så gode at spille på. Der er til gengæld god gang i padelbanerne. Husene er meget forskellige … men gå efter et lidt større og nyrenoveret hvis muligt. Vi havde nogle skønne dage her 🌞

Apartamento simpático renovado, limpo no primeiro dia mas sem limpeza, nem serviço de camas feito uma única vez durante 1 semana completa.Levavam o lixo e, admitimos davam uma limpeza rápida no quarto de banho. Nm apartamento de praia pelo menos a limpeza do chão é fundamental. Outro ponto menos bom era o ambiente da piscina, mas compreende-se havendo muita gente. Bem o que pretendia dizer é que tinha gente a mais para sua lotação. De resto bons e simpáticos serviços no café e no restaurante. Animação do espaço, muito fraca mas também não era importante.

Lovely place for a family holiday! Loads of green spaces, close to the front with its shops, restaurants, sea front etc. Easy enough to walk but there is also a cute little train you can take. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. We’d definitely come again!

Disappointing. Quite old. Price/Quality is poor. Reservation was mentioning garden view and the appartment was facing a main road with a 1m band of grass... If you are light sensitive for a sleep do no go there !
