Booked this hotel based on the reviews and did not disappoint one bit. Stayed for one week and the staff were so helpful and caring from start to end. Free parking outside the reception is brilliant and easy. The hotel and rooms are very clean and modern. The hotel is in a peaceful area and an easy 5 min taxi to the Lagos old town. Would stay again.

We stayed in the hotel section of Âncora Park, which is relatively new (around 4 years old), and we were very impressed. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. It's located a bit outside the city center, offering a more peaceful atmosphere while still being within easy reach of Lagos. The restaurant on site is excellent, and the pool area is a definite highlight - a large main pool, a separate children's pool, and plenty of sun loungers. One thing we really appreciated was that there was no hassle over sunbeds; no guests were reserving loungers without using them, which made for a much more relaxed experience. We also took part in a fantastic kayaking tour along the coast, exploring stunning white-sand beaches and paddling into sea caves and grottoes. The tour started within walking distance from the hotel, making it both convenient and unforgettable. All in all, a fantastic hotel that both my girlfriend and I would gladly return to. Highly recommended!

Had higher expectations considering the ratings on line. But here’s where they do not warrant a 5 rating. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen setup. Sofa wax stained, no tv in bedroom, you had to supply your own toilet paper and coffee. Okay maybe the coffee but toilet paper? Been to many places over the years and this was a first where we had to buy our toilet paper. Bed was very poor quality, need their mattresses updated. Beautiful pool and pool area but the loungers are in terrible condition. We tried the buffet dinner on our last night and although great variety, food quality is subpar.

The property is beautifully landscaped and the pool is the gem of the property. The restaurants had fresh healthy and a variety of delicious options. The cocktail menu and wine selection was excellent. The staff from the room attendance, servers, bartenders and hospitality staff are outstanding which made our stay at Hotel Âncora Park very comfortable and enjoyable. Also, we liked that it is very family friendly with a pool for children and changing tables for families with infants. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurants. We definitely will return and bring our entire family.

Just fabulous. We stayed four nights in one of the villas, which apparently had been recently remodeled. Everything was shiny and new and sparkling clean. There was a small, well-outfitted kitchenette, though we didn't use it to cook, just for coffee/tea and dishes. We loved the back patio area and our unit even had a small deck on the roof! Each villa has its own parking spot too, which is great. The service at the restaurant and pool bar was top notch, all the staff were so friendly and kind. We paid for breakfast two days, dinner one night, and ordered food at the pool bar for dinner another night, and everything was delicious. The pool is enormous and there are plenty of loungers, although it would be nice if the umbrellas could be moved or even just tilted as the sun moves. I wish we could have spent more than one afternoon lounging out there, but our itinerary was packed. The deposit for the pool towels is a bit steep, but you get your money back when they're returned. I would come back to Lagos simply to stay at Ancora Park again, we enjoyed it that much!

Ancora Park has an amazing pool. 50m, always quiet and great for a proper swim. The twin rooms have a great aspect but ask for the top floor for the best views. The restaurant was a bit soulless so better to go for the room only basis

Die Unterkunft ist neu und alles ist renoviert. Es sieht toll aus. Parkplatzmöglichkeiten sind direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden. Es gibt einen großen 50 Meter Pool für Schwimmer. Die Liegen am Pool sind leider durchgelegen und unbequem. Ablauf der Dusche war verstopft, daraufhin habe ich dem Personal gesagt, dass das behoben werden soll und nach einer Woche auch mal feucht durchgewischt werden soll. Als wir dann nach Hause kamen, war das komplette Badezimmer nass und überall waren Fußabdrücke, es war also schmutziger als vor meinem Hinweis. Daher musste ich wieder zum Personal, welches mir sagte, dass das erst innerhalb der nächsten 3h irgendwann sauber gemacht wird. Ich musste freundlich daraufhin weisen, dass wir das Badezimmer aber ab jetzt wieder nutzen wollen und nicht in 3h. Daraufhin wurde dann geputzt. Ansonsten ist dauerhaft ein lauter Pfeifton (scheinbar vom Nachbarhotel zu hören, sodass man fast Tinnitus davon bekommt. Abschließend lässt sich sagen, dass hier das gesamte Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit Blick auf den Service, die Freundlichkeit und die Sauberkeit nicht passt. Wir würden leider nicht nochmal herkommen.

L’hôtel est magnifique et la piscine grandiose. Le service de nettoyage est vraiment impeccable. Le déjeûner est correct, sans plus, tandis que le souper est décevant. Les snacks sont beaucoup trop chers, ce qui nous a obligé à manger le midi en dehors de l’hôtel. Malgré le très bon état général de l’hôtel, il y avait de l’humidité dans les murs de notre chambre située au rez-de-chaussée.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The place was designed really well, and everything was very clean and in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable, the pool was great! Staff were very friendly. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from the property to the edge of old town. Also was only about a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach.

Trevlig och vänlig personal i receptionen, personalen i baren däremot var mycket otrevliga. Bara den yngre killen vid namn Tomas var mycket vänlig och trevlig! Kvinnan i baren nästan suckade när man skulle beställa. Maten var tyvärr inte alls bra och väldiga överpriser. Städningen bestod av att de kom och bäddade sängen en gång om dagen, nånting annat än de gjorde de inte! Vilket var stort minus

The property was very warm and comforting and villa we stayed in was spectacular. It was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, a lot of variety all of which tasted great, a very nice start to our days in Lagos. Definitely would stay again, in fact our experience at Ancora Park is a big reason why we are thinking of coming back to Lagos!

Overall it is a very nice property with a great location. The rooms were newly renovated & spacious. It has tons of potential to be 5 stars, but the beds & pillows are hard as a rock. There was also no patio furniture on the upstairs balcony of the apartment which is a miss - would have loved to enjoy some evenings out there with some wine. I think for the price they should add that in. The food at the restaurant was terrible, which was disappointing. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.. I just think they have a ton of potential and can do better to become a 5 star destination.

Hotel was very spacious, huge pool, nice size bedroom, staff was amazing. Hotel has breakfast and restaurant onsite for dinner. Also have a bar and sitting area to enjoy the pool. Very quiet. We were able to book Uber or taxis directly to hotel to the old town which was about 5 mins car ride. Walking distance about 15-20mins.

We had the little house for 9 nights and we really can recommend that! The kitchen is fully sufficient to prepare breakfast every day or small dinner. We haven’t chosen the hotel breakfast and dinner. There are many good restaurants in Lagos. The rental car can be parked directly in front of the house. If we need to say something negative, then it‘s the beds. They are very hard and short. But it was okay for 9 nights. The big pool is amazing und you‘ll always find a free lounger. No reservation needed. The every day room service was also very good. Thanks again to the whole very friendly team of Ancora Park.

We’ve stayed previously and the rooms have had a really good refurb since then. Pool area and bar has also been massively improved since 2018. New hotel block has been built and it’s more a 4* now. Only issue was construction work daily from 8am till late at an apartment block right next to our bungalow, we were block B. Constant angle grinding and drilling, such a shame but once the building is complete, you won’t have an issue, other than being overlooked from the balconies. The area has developed with lots of new building so not a quiet as we remembered, but location is convenient for the local beaches at Praia Mos and ponta de piadade. Centre of Lagos is about 20 mins walk. Overall, would recommend if staying in Lagos

😀Das Appartement war sehr schön, wurde wohl 2023 renoviert. Die Terrasse ist so angelegt, dass man windstill sitzen kann, sehr schön zum Essen. Der Pool war wirklich riesig, aber etwas kalt. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. 😒Die Betten waren sehr hart.

Just fabulous. We stayed four nights in one of the villas, which apparently had been recently remodeled. Everything was shiny and new and sparkling clean. There was a small, well-outfitted kitchenette, though we didn't use it to cook, just for coffee/tea and dishes. We loved the back patio area and our unit even had a small deck on the roof! Each villa has its own parking spot too, which is great. The service at the restaurant and pool bar was top notch, all the staff were so friendly and kind. We paid for breakfast two days, dinner one night, and ordered food at the pool bar for dinner another night, and everything was delicious. The pool is enormous and there are plenty of loungers, although it would be nice if the umbrellas could be moved or even just tilted as the sun moves. I wish we could have spent more than one afternoon lounging out there, but our itinerary was packed. The deposit for the pool towels is a bit steep, but you get your money back when they're returned. I would come back to Lagos simply to stay at Ancora Park again, we enjoyed it that much!

Ancora Park has an amazing pool. 50m, always quiet and great for a proper swim. The twin rooms have a great aspect but ask for the top floor for the best views. The restaurant was a bit soulless so better to go for the room only basis

Trevlig och vänlig personal i receptionen, personalen i baren däremot var mycket otrevliga. Bara den yngre killen vid namn Tomas var mycket vänlig och trevlig! Kvinnan i baren nästan suckade när man skulle beställa. Maten var tyvärr inte alls bra och väldiga överpriser. Städningen bestod av att de kom och bäddade sängen en gång om dagen, nånting annat än de gjorde de inte! Vilket var stort minus

The hotel offer also a lot attractions, like delphine tour, kayak tour and more. One of the best beaches is just in 13 minutes away by walk and the city in 6-7 minutes by car. Thank you very much!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and pool area very nice. Breakfast buffet was delicious. I would only suggest that at the breakfast, the staff might clear the used dishes from the table, a minor issue but would be appreciated. Otherwise everything was perfect, thank you for a wonderful stay 💖

Die Unterkunft ist neu und alles ist renoviert. Es sieht toll aus. Parkplatzmöglichkeiten sind direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden. Es gibt einen großen 50 Meter Pool für Schwimmer. Die Liegen am Pool sind leider durchgelegen und unbequem. Ablauf der Dusche war verstopft, daraufhin habe ich dem Personal gesagt, dass das behoben werden soll und nach einer Woche auch mal feucht durchgewischt werden soll. Als wir dann nach Hause kamen, war das komplette Badezimmer nass und überall waren Fußabdrücke, es war also schmutziger als vor meinem Hinweis. Daher musste ich wieder zum Personal, welches mir sagte, dass das erst innerhalb der nächsten 3h irgendwann sauber gemacht wird. Ich musste freundlich daraufhin weisen, dass wir das Badezimmer aber ab jetzt wieder nutzen wollen und nicht in 3h. Daraufhin wurde dann geputzt. Ansonsten ist dauerhaft ein lauter Pfeifton (scheinbar vom Nachbarhotel zu hören, sodass man fast Tinnitus davon bekommt. Abschließend lässt sich sagen, dass hier das gesamte Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mit Blick auf den Service, die Freundlichkeit und die Sauberkeit nicht passt. Wir würden leider nicht nochmal herkommen.

Booked this hotel based on the reviews and did not disappoint one bit. Stayed for one week and the staff were so helpful and caring from start to end. Free parking outside the reception is brilliant and easy. The hotel and rooms are very clean and modern. The hotel is in a peaceful area and an easy 5 min taxi to the Lagos old town. Would stay again.

We stayed in the hotel section of Âncora Park, which is relatively new (around 4 years old), and we were very impressed. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. It's located a bit outside the city center, offering a more peaceful atmosphere while still being within easy reach of Lagos. The restaurant on site is excellent, and the pool area is a definite highlight - a large main pool, a separate children's pool, and plenty of sun loungers. One thing we really appreciated was that there was no hassle over sunbeds; no guests were reserving loungers without using them, which made for a much more relaxed experience. We also took part in a fantastic kayaking tour along the coast, exploring stunning white-sand beaches and paddling into sea caves and grottoes. The tour started within walking distance from the hotel, making it both convenient and unforgettable. All in all, a fantastic hotel that both my girlfriend and I would gladly return to. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ancora Park. It’s a little further out of town perhaps compared to some other hotels. However this meant it was lovely and quiet, and Uber’s were super cheap if we didn’t want to walk into town. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Never had to fight for a space at the pool and was short walking distance to some beautiful beaches.

Ho alloggiato con la mia compagna per 5 giorni in una delle villette a schiera. Il soggiorno è andato molto bene, le camere sono spaziose, pulite e attrezzate con una ampia zona cucina/soggiorno e aria condizionata. Le pulizie avvengono giornalmente e il personale è stato molto disponibile quando interpellato, dandoci anche dei gentili consigli su quali zone visitare nei dintorni tra le meno turistiche. La posizione è comoda per chi come intende visitare la zona con una macchina a noleggio, proprio a 5 minuti di macchina ci sono delle calette molto suggestive. La città di Lagos inoltre è un mix tra tradizione e località turistica. Oltre a tutto ciò consiglio questa struttura se come noi volete visitare l'algarve, per la sua posizione comoda per raggiungere le diverse località.

Had a wonderful stay at Âncora. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is huge and was always a peaceful place to relax. The walk into Old Town is a little far, so we used uber/bolt to get around. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. It’s within walking distance of spectacular beaches!

Overall it is a very nice property with a great location. The rooms were newly renovated & spacious. It has tons of potential to be 5 stars, but the beds & pillows are hard as a rock. There was also no patio furniture on the upstairs balcony of the apartment which is a miss - would have loved to enjoy some evenings out there with some wine. I think for the price they should add that in. The food at the restaurant was terrible, which was disappointing. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.. I just think they have a ton of potential and can do better to become a 5 star destination.

L’hôtel est magnifique et la piscine grandiose. Le service de nettoyage est vraiment impeccable. Le déjeûner est correct, sans plus, tandis que le souper est décevant. Les snacks sont beaucoup trop chers, ce qui nous a obligé à manger le midi en dehors de l’hôtel. Loved this property so clean and welcoming. It is about a 20 minute drive from Lagos Old Town which we ended up going to every night for meals/drinks. The pool in this hotel is amazing, the rooms are large and very very clean with good size balconies. The only drawback is the breakfast is quite expensive considering the price to book to stay at the hotel is already quite high.

Just fabulous. We stayed four nights in one of the villas, which apparently had been recently remodeled. Everything was shiny and new and sparkling clean. There was a small, well-outfitted kitchenette, though we didn't use it to cook, just for coffee/tea and dishes. We loved the back patio area and our unit even had a small deck on the roof! Each villa has its own parking spot too, which is great. The service at the restaurant and pool bar was top notch, all the staff were so friendly and kind. We paid for breakfast two days, dinner one night, and ordered food at the pool bar for dinner another night, and everything was delicious. The pool is enormous and there are plenty of loungers, although it would be nice if the umbrellas could be moved or even just tilted as the sun moves. I wish we could have spent more than one afternoon lounging out there, but our itinerary was packed. The deposit for the pool towels is a bit steep, but you get your money back when they're returned. I would come back to Lagos simply to stay at Ancora Park again, we enjoyed it that much!

Ancora Park has an amazing pool. 50m, always quiet and great for a proper swim. The twin rooms have a great aspect but ask for the top floor for the best views. The restaurant was a bit soulless so better to go for the room only basis

Great place. The pool was perfect for our family, great place to cool off in the summer heat. The villa worked great and was nice to have a parking spot right in front. We were there over my birthday and the staff left a nice card and bottle of wine for me. Town was just a quick drive or 20 min walk from the hotel. Will be recommending to friends and family.

I would not recommend staying at Âncora Park if you have other options. Our stay was disappointing overall. The cleanliness was below the standard I would expect from a hotel, and while breakfast had a wide variety of options, the quality of the food was not very good. The grounds also appeared poorly maintained. We stayed in a villa, and there was a dead, brown shrub directly in front of our door, which did not give a good impression. Housekeeping was another issue. Towels were replaced, but there did not seem to be much cleaning beyond that. The kitchen dishes were not cleaned, and the floors did not appear to be swept during our stay. The staff experience was also disappointing. One man I interacted with, who I believe may have been the manager, was polite and helpful. However, most other staff members we encountered were rude and unwelcoming. Overall, based on our experience, I would not stay here again and would recommend looking elsewhere.
