I have I used this hotel many times. It is convenient and well run. HoweverI very much resented having tom pay a £5.00 parking fee because I had not booked through Welcome Inns direct. I may well now not book there at all.

Please note there is a daily parking charge. The breakfast has no juice as stated on the stand at reception and the price depends on who you book with. The reception price was a different price to mine online. The reception price was cheaper.

The spare pillows in bad were disgusting and dirty, the room was dirty, the beds were so hard not even my son slept, had to use the duvet off the single bed to put on the double bed so he could get comfortable. I’d expect this from a £35 b&b

Good value for money and excellent position. Room was basic but comfortable. Bad point was the musty smell in the bathroom and the extractor fan was in need of stripping down and cleaning out the deep layer of dust and fluff.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Having a central light as well as side lights was very welcome, as this feature is so often missing in modern hotels. Despite being adjacent to the M54 it was also surprisingly quiet

The rooms had a terrible smell and the bathroom had a foul stench. Despite requesting the room to be changed, other rooms had a similar foul smell on same floor. Settled for the least offensive one but the bathroom exhaust fan was not working in any room. Terrible experience and request hotel to provide a refund of one night as stench on first day was terrible.

I liked the cleanliness and comfort. It was convenient for my needs and the receptionist in the morning Sunday 19th May was courteous and helpful. Dislikes; Due to an ongoing glitch on the website I booked accidentally on the 16th. .makes This is because the date return to the date the booking is being made after the selections are made by default. I then had to pay £98 to have a room. The bath was stained. Other that it was good.

What a find! Such great value - quilted toilet roll, fluffy towels, spotlessly clean, friendly staff and comfy bed. What more could you want... and all for £37 a night. Granted we got an exceptional deal but would highly recommend at double the price.

The family room booked was very tired looking and was in need of desperate updating. Compared to other hotels this room needs to be brought upto date with bedside usb sockets, a bigger smart television, new update to the curtains and the mattress was so uncomfortable that I have had a bad back since sleeping in it. In general though the hotel main areas were clean and tidy but looked tired. The reception staff were lovely, polite and friendly.

This wouldn't usually be an issue but the promised WiFi didn't work, resulting in a very boring evening with our child - booked specifically with WiFi to keep them entertained while relaxing. Broken tiles in bathroom. Reception staff were clueless on WiFi. Few plug sockets. Had to ask for extra pillows at reception (1 provided per bed). Otherwise hotel was clean and breakfast box (cereal milk oat bar brioche) was ok, would have preferred cooked breakfast but this wasn't obvious on booking. Could hear every footstep of room above so a poor night's sleep.

I stayed in this hotel 6 months ago and everything was great. Everything seems to have gone down now. I came in before check in time to see if there were any rooms ready. Usually if most places will either say yes and check in or politely say no. The person on duty here decided to look with disgust at such a request. She then started asking "how many people are staying" after noticing my children. Before I could even open my mouth she raised her voice to say it was only booked for two people. A few other comments / borderline insults were made before I just thanked her. When I came back I met the nicest people. They always smiled and greeted us when entering. I dreaded seeing the rude person in the day shift. The rooms where outdated which is fine but this time around it was also dirty.

Do not book room 123. There was noise coming from fuel station and we were tired and could not sleep. Requested to change the room but young man at the front desk didn’t seem helpful. He was very defensive about our complaint and took no action. I will never stay at this hotel ever!

I understand fire alarms need to go off. The hotel and all guests were woken late at night by a false alarm! I would have expected an apology or at least some comment by the staff, grouped at reception talking to each other, as a left the hotel after a sleepless night!

We stayed here as we were attending a 2 day event at the International Centre. It was very well placed for this and good value. I would like to say how lovely and friendly the reception and cleaning staff were. Made the stay very pleasureable.

very handy for Ironbridge and surrounding area with lots of tourist places to see. Staff all very helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble. very clean and comfortable. Local towns Shifnal and Wellington very pleasant to visit.

I stay at Days Inn, Telford whenever I visit (usually annually). The location is convenient with excellent parking. The reception are professional and friendly. Accommodation is basic, but adequate for a short stay. Shifnal village has plenty of places to eat and Starbucks is on site for breakfast. There is also a microwave to heat up anything bought at Waitrose.

The property is just off the m54. Despite this its very quiet and quite central to everything. The decor is a bit dated and needs the flooring in the bathroom looking at. The bed wasn't as comfy as I would have liked but it was a good one. I like softer pillows but all in all we had a good nights sleep.

The room we had was well equipped and very clean. The blackout curtains were excellent and definitely needed as we were on the ground floor. The staff were also kind and friendly. The outside space is stressful and busy as it is part of the motorway services. We had to keep our window open as it was so hot and the traffic/talking noises disrupted sleep. I would request an upper floor next time. The prices in the service station next door are extortionate!
