Front desk was very nice. The room was run down, blankets & sheets had holes & burn marks in them on both beds. Lots of holes in the wall with bad patch jobs. Art work was missing though hangers were still up. Smoke alarm has a cage over it. Bed is hard and pillows old. Walls are thin so noise level is very loud. TV, bed lights & shower curtain looked newer, so they may actually be in process of some updates... not real sure Cell service is awful & wifi never connected ...and no phone in the room so if there had been an emergency you are out of luck to call for help. Area feels sketchy but typical for a Red Roof Inn Very close to airport, so convenient

After a 2 hour drive to be told that you have to hold it until you check in because there is no bathroom available was awful. The bed was like sleeping straight on a box spring.

The room was big and clean and the bed was fine. The staff (Kay) was awesome! Having Denny's next door is a definite plus. However, the the microwave didn't work, the refrigerator did not get cold, The television remote was dead, and there was no phone in the room! If everything thing had been working properly, it would have been better.

The problem with this place is old and not cleaned well, the pool was filled with dirt! The ice Mac did not work the tv only worked on one or two channels the room smelled of smoke the sheets were stained there were burn holes on some towels!!

My stay was relaxing and the check-in/out process was very quick and the staff was quite friendly. I'm sorry to say that cleanliness was very disappointing. I always carry paper towels, Chlorox wipes, and window cleaner in my car. I used a half a container of wipes cleaning the furniture, front door, a/c unit, bath vanity, and toilet. There were only 2 sets of thin, under-sized towels, no bath mat, and only 1 trash can. I can assure you that the room was cleaner when i left than when i arrived.

The room look like it was never clean. It was filthy dirty sheets. Let’s not talk about the floor for it have been tile floor. It looked like it never been swept or mop tub was dirty. Had a bug in it. Toilet was dirty. Had cigarette burn marks on the toilet Worst place ever oh and when I checked in the receptionist was outside playing music chilling with the people that staying there very ghetto. and on the way up to my room, some homeless guy was stopping me in the stairway trying to sell me stuff that he probably stole… this is crazy. No wonder you guys had a two star.

The room: The bedding was stained and disgusting! The room smelled so overwhelming of cigarette smoke. No smoke detector just wires sticking out of the wall and a bracket on the wall where it should be. Toilet wouldn't flush and sink faucet was broken. The property: Check in person was outside smoking when I pulled in. Reaked of weed when she walked in with me and she was wearing pajamas. Broken down, unregistered cars in the parking spots in front of my room. Pool is filled with dirt. Over very sketchy vibe with the whole place! I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone!!!

This place was disgusting, first the girl at the front had a nasty attitude like she didnt want to be bothered, secondly the room smelled like mildew and old cigarettes. The bathroom shower walls were so filthy you could see where the dirt lines are, the mattress wasnt even a mattress just some springs, cause want no cushion on that bed my side hurts so bad from springs sticking me all night . than something started biting me like omg . I really wish i would have spent the extra money and went else where. This use to be a pretty decent motel a couple years ago it has really went trash. And they have nevers to have a reward program for what. never again

Non-smoking room smelled like a smoker had just walked out; burns on mattress and mattress cover. Filth everywhere, even on lamp. Nothing looked clean enough to touch. Front desk was very unhelpful but also not surprised at all when I returned to check out immediately and ask for a refund.

Check in was super easy. Front desk was smiling and easy going although it was late. Check in was quick. Room was clean but there was roaches. I don't want to call front desk to bother about a roach. What can they do?

Overall you get what you paid for. The staff was friendly but it definitely does not look as pictured when booking it. The room was extremely humid at all times. Even with the AC on everything just stayed damp in the air.

We got what we paid for. It was pretty cheap. It was okay but not great. The staff was somewhat professional. He wasn't over the top friendly but he wasn't rude. The bed was a little hard to sleep on and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The parking lot could use a little work. The area didn't feel safe. A lot of people were hanging out in the parking lot at night.

The check-in experience was simple and easy. Unfortunately I was sent to this hotel at a late night hour because of my house catching on fire so I already wasn’t in the best mood but like I said the check in with simple and easy at first appearance, the room didn’t seem that bad of course it is red roof, so it is a little lower quality when it comes to hotels but that was expected. The bed was actually pretty comfortable now to get to the negative. There was probably about 20 cockroaches that me and my fiancé killed throughout the night running all over the room, and our other only complaint is that. The hotel is right next to the highway so all night long you can hear the highway as well as loud, thumping music from guest going in and out..

Night clerk went AWOL and sleep in one of the rooms instead of managing the desk. Did not return until 6 am so we had to sleep the night in the car. We hung around until the manager arrived. She said she would reimburse us for the rooms. However, she did not and now that we've left town and gone home she is ignoring our emails and phone calls too.

I was about to fall asleep at 10pm because I had to wake up by 5am for a 14 hour drive. I get a random knock at my door at 10pm that night so I get up to check outside the peep hole. It was too foggy to even look through it. They knock again so I yell through the door “can I help you?” And they didn’t answer, just walked away. As a girl traveling by myself, this was pretty scary. I called the front desk and hoped it was them. They tried to avoid the question and I had to ask 5 times just for them to tell me it was them. Why couldn’t they just answer at the door? The rest of the night I could only get about 3 hours of sleep because I kept waking up to every noise I heard since I was on high alert now. They also tried to tell me I was in the wrong room when they were the ones that gave me the key for the room. I’m sure this doesn’t happen all the time, I just won’t be staying here again

we stayed here one night after a long international trip, we picked it because of its proximity to the airport and the pictures looked nice. When we got there the room smelled of a strong chemical, it looked run down, fire alarms were missing, the bathroom sink was clogged and overall it looked like it was in dire need of TLC and a deep renovation. In terms of service, the person at the desk when we arrived was not very welcoming either, the morning person when we checked out was a bit nicer.

I arrived at the hotel and they had no reservation listed for me. I showed the attendant the email confirmation and number from hotels.com. She never could find it?! Fortunately I didn’t prepay and they had rooms. I paid (hopefully only once) and had a pleasant stay. This hotel is very dated! The AC didn’t work very well and the walls are super thin. The bed was a hard mattress on a slab of wood. Don’t think I’d choose this one again. I chose it as it was 2.6 miles to the JAX airport so it was super convenient as I had an early morning flight.

I booked this motel through Hotels.com and paid through the website. When I got there, I didn’t realize that the front desk charged me again for the night. I called the motel and explained that they double charged me. They told me they would refund me and it would take seven days but that never happened. I called Hotels.com and when they called the red roof, they refused the refund as well. I called the motel back and showed them the proof that they charged me when they shouldn’t Have. They said they would return my call and never did. The rooms are old and dirty. I just stayed there because I was driving north from Florida. I would not stay at this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in the area to stay. Definitely stay away. Hotels.com did finally refund me for the second charge.

The place was the least expensive in the area for a one-night stay; this is why it was selected. The reception desk was manned by two completely disinterested personnel (one upon arrival and one upon departure). While we were there, the police were in the parking lot arresting two intoxicated persons; we ate at the next-door Dennys and while there we observed the police arresting another individual at the gas station on the other side of Dennys. There are a few homeless encampments in the patch of woods in between the hotel and Dennys. Spend an extra $10-20 and stay somewhere else - this place is scary.

Felt very unsafe, as well As I was stopping through and had a lot of items in my car I did not want to unpack, and did not feel comfortable in the area to leave my car unattended. The room stank like smoke, I had 2 guys smoking outside my bedroom window, my room looked like it had been occupied before me. I walked out and found a different hotel. I chose safety over $70.

1st room tv didn’t work. 2nd room toilet leaked on the floor, smelled like mold. Additionally, there appeared to be a homeless encampment next to the hotel in an area of dense trees and it appeared as if people were living in their cars in the parking lot. There was also evidence of robust drug trafficking, with cars going in and out and people loitering about the hotel. We did not feel safe and the room was filthy.
