I apologize for the late review. I stayed at K2 Brisbane for about a week, and I was extremely satisfied with both the bathroom and the room, which were very clean and new. The kitchen also provided free cereal and other items. The manager was verrrrry friendly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Brisbane. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Brisbane. There will also be more new rooms in the future!! BTW, I later met a Japanese girl on the Gold Coast who also stayed at K2. What a coincidence!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH, I had a great time there!!!

As said by others, finding it is a bit difficult as there isn’t a sign, just a gate that’s locked for non-guests. Once in though, modern and clean shares bathrooms and showers, would stay again. Great location, walking distance to city center

Brillaint place to stay regarding area and helpful welcoming staff. Unfortunatly they are doing renervations on the property so it was very noisy from 7am till around 5pm so I was unable to sleep in or relax in my room and the showers were luke warm at best. However once the renervations are complete I would happily stay in this property again!

Die Lage ist praktisch und recht zentral. Wer mal nicht zu Fuß den Berg hoch laufen möchte, kann den kostenlosen Spring Hill Loop Bus (Nr. 30) nutzen. Der Eigentümer ist sehe nett und immer erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Badezimmer und Küche werden täglich gereinigt, hier kommt es aber auf die anderen Gäste an, wie sauber diese sind. Es sind ausreichend Duschen und Toiletten vorhanden. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind auch mit fairen Preisen verfügbar.

lovely old property, clean modern rooms, very secure, on busy road so road noise, top of a hill from train station so a bit of a long walk with luggage so would suggest taxi/ride share. Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge common room with full kitchen and vending machines.

Staff was great. Under construction so pictures of common area are misleading. No access to the common area. No air conditioning and it was hot and humid!!! Would not stay at this hostel again!

Nice place, clean, friendly, nearby a beautiful park. There is a communal kitchen where you can cook. There were snacks and bottled water provided. The room is small but well equipped with a comfortable single bed. There is a washer and dryer you can pay with card to use. The bathroom is shared but there are plenty and all the little nice things make it really worth the savings. Highly recommend.

Room and facilities clean and well presented. $35/day for an outdoor parking space is too high, especially as I was not advised of this cost when making booking. TV does not receive local channels. Could access news via internet TV but that stopped after less than 30 mins and needed to be turned off and on again to continue watching. Operation of internet TV was not straightforward and no instructions provided.

Low fuss dormitory style accomodation. Single student style room and shared facilities. Low cost, and just what is needed for a quick overnight stay close to Brisbane City. Property manager very polite and helpful. Room was clean and recently renovated. Shared bathroom facilities were recently renovated. Bathroom was clean at night when i used it but in morning after shared use of other patrons needed more frequent cleaning. Stayed late Nov 2024, room was too hot with just a celing fan and window. Street noise was a little disruptive as i was near an intersection on a hill, so some engine revving. Single bed was not soft, but maybe thats just my personal preference. Property manager said air conditioning will be installed soon. If my room had air con then it would not have been too hot and would have masked some outside noise. No noise from other patrons, the walls are thick. After aircon is installed, or if i could get one of the rooms with aircon and an ensuite, I would stay again. Parking limited, i counted max 9 spaces - i emailed to ask for a car space and got one. Street parking very limited.

Good 3 night stay at the K2 booked a twin room, hadn’t realised it was more of a hostel so shared toilet/shower facilities and kitchen, which were kept clean by the hosts not so much some other travellers. A 10-15 min walk from Roma st. Station, but nearest pub 5-10mins away the normanby nearest shop 20-30min walk away. Would I stay here again, yes but maybe upgrade the room

Lovely accommodation in Brisbane close to the beautiful Roma Park. Staff were lovely and they upgraded me to a double room which was amazing and the facilities were really good. The room was very clean as well.

Andrew the host was very helpful , the rooms while small were very clean and crisp .The location excellent being able to walk into the city , value for money don't think you'll find any better.

Clean place with good service. Biggest problem was the room was heavily “cigarette smoke contaminated” making all my clothes severely contaminated with the odor necessitating excessive laundering to eliminate the odor of cigarette smoke. This issue largely only became apparent to me after leaving K2.

Very friendly staff. But… At a main street with no isolated windows. Very loud. Sleep is just possible with earplugs. No AC, just a fan. You can decide if it is just hot or windy and hot. Bathrooms where clean, but pillow, blanket and cover were dirty.

No AC, so you need to have the window open during the night. Unfortunately right beside a busy street, so there is lots of car noise into the night. Rooms and showers are nice and clean, but I would advise bringing earplugs. Rooms do have ceiling fans for some air circulation

Access to the city was very easy via the free bus or walking through Roma Street Parklands. Modern & clean inside. Room was small but had everything I needed, to make my stay comfortable.

It is similar to a YHA hostel with shared toilet and kitchen (Basic single room). No air conditioning, only ceiling fan, so hot in December (to April). TV has no signal. Room is tiny. The neighbours made horribly loud noises after midnight. Residences in lower floor look suspicious. Very over priced for such a tiny room with shared bathroom and toilet.

It was a little on the pricey side but it was comfortable, clean and not too noisy with traffic. The reno gave it a modern feel and balcony seating was with a beer in the Arvo.

Very cost effective budget accommodation. Lovely room which was clean and modern with a comfy bed. Ideal connection for Spring Hill City Loop bus service. I would recommend the junior suite with air conditioning. Only negative comment would be that the walls are very thin and you can clearly hear conversations above and sideways. Bit of a mixed range of guests, as some of the rooms are private hostel style, but this did not put me off, although may not suit everyone.

I arrived an hour before checkin was due to close but reception was locked-up with no one there. No note saying that anyone would be back. Seemed like I was stuck! Rather concerning. Fortunately after about 20mins the receptionist cale back. No explanation or apology.

We called a day before asked about bag storage told $8 ridiculous, never had to pay it . We arrived about 1.30pm, told rooms not ready until 2pm and had to wait outside even though it was clearly ready, that side of the service could be improved. We had made a mistake when booking thru hotel's.com of booking the shared bathroom, and asked for upgrade, $20 thru hotel's $40 at the hotel would not change the price after telling them about the difference. The room was small but very clean, bed was very firm, bathroom was great, with a small kitchenette. Overall not too bad but a bit of road noise.

Despite problems, as my original booking was cancelled without consulting me, I managed to rebook and was fortunate that Daniel allowed me to access my unit early. This was a godsend as I’d had 24 hours without sleep prior to my arrival. My room had all the facilities I needed, was clean, and the property was within walking distance of everywhere that I needed to go on my visit to Brisbane.
Despite problems, as my original booking was cancelled without consulting me, I managed to rebook and was fortunate that Daniel allowed me to access my unit early. This was a godsend as I’d had 24 hours without sleep prior to my arrival. My room had all the facilities I needed, was clean, and the property was within walking distance of everywhere that I needed to go on my visit to Brisbane.

The was no indication for room 39 on the outside- that’s the biggest confusion so i called to the phone number and they were threatening me to charge 50€ and told me that i don’t read the instructions. You need to re-write the instructions if the room number is not indicated outside

Good 3 night stay at the K2 booked a twin room, hadn’t realised it was more of a hostel so shared toilet/shower facilities and kitchen, which were kept clean by the hosts not so much some other travellers. A 10-15 min walk from Roma st. Station, but nearest pub 5-10mins away the normanby nearest shop 20-30min walk away. Would I stay here again, yes but maybe upgrade the room

As said by others, finding it is a bit difficult as there isn’t a sign, just a gate that’s locked for non-guests. Once in though, modern and clean shares bathrooms and showers, would stay again. Great location, walking distance to city center

lovely old property, clean modern rooms, very secure, on busy road so road noise, top of a hill from train station so a bit of a long walk with luggage so would suggest taxi/ride share. Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge common room with full kitchen and vending machines.

施設はキレイで、キッチンも必要なものが揃っていて（Arranのほうは宿泊者数にくらべると少ないかもしれないが不自由はなかった）、スタッフもフレンドリーで、快適に過ごせました。エアコンはなかったが、気候的には不要といえる（いずれ設置するとのこと）。中心から少し離れた丘の上に立地するものの（ゆえに静か）、近くのループバスをうまく活用すれば、不便さはない。今度来たときも、泊まりたいくらいです。

I apologize for the late review. I stayed at K2 Brisbane for about a week, and I was extremely satisfied with both the bathroom and the room, which were very clean and new. The kitchen also provided free cereal and other items. The manager, Andrew, was verrrrry friendly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Brisbane. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Brisbane. There will also be more new rooms in the future!! Andrew, I wish you great business success!! BTW, I later met a Japanese girl on the Gold Coast who also stayed at K2. What a coincidence!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH, I had a great time there!!!

We had a nice overnight stay at the K2, the hotel/hostel is basic but suited our needs (walkable to Suncorp and Brisbane CBD). The room itself was small but functional - we liked the little kitchenette/mini fridge and the fact they provided us with 2 water bottles, twisties and grain waves.

The place is nice and well kept. I stay in the single room with share bathroom and the room was confortable, smell nice, had a mini bar fridge and a microwave. Only thing was that the window was to the main intersection so you hear the traffic noise. The kitchen is well kept with enough utensils, milk, cereal, coffee, sugar, salt.. small things like this that helps a lot. The bathrooms was toilet and shoer all in one which help for a bit of privacy. As a woman travelling alone, the surroundings were a bit scary with housing for the homeless nearby you see some strange people,they were harmless but be mindful if you are alone.

Nice place, clean, friendly, nearby a beautiful park. There is a communal kitchen where you can cook. There were snacks and bottled water provided. The room is small but well equipped with a comfortable single bed. There is a washer and dryer you can pay with card to use. The bathroom is shared but there are plenty and all the little nice things make it really worth the savings. Highly recommend.

Close to free loop bus and Roma St Parklands. Felt very secure in accommodation. Clean amenities and well equipped kitchen. No flyscreens on non air-con rooms so quite a bit of dust came in windows during the day when windows open.

The good: - Andrew @ the front desk was friendly, quickly helped me with the entrance gate, door, & getting my suitcase upstairs, always pleasant & great to chat with - Room & facilities were clean & well kept - Clean bedding AND complimentary towel ❤️ - A couple of snacks, 2 water bottles, & nearby food recommendations - Personal fridge & microwave in each room - Bedside table, desk, & clothing organizer 👌 - Power strip by bed & desk - Bedroom doors close quietly - Conveniently located at the entrance of Roma Parklands so Roma Station is easy to get to - 5 full bathrooms per floor The bad: - A bit noisy during my stay due to the construction on their next door buildings - Bathroom doors close loudly

Wow what a place! Wish it was possible to give 6/5 stars. We honestly loved staying here and were sad to leave. Everyone on staff was so friendly, and Daniel, the manager, really made us feel welcome from the start. He was always happy to help and quick with a joke. The other guests were lovely too, which made the place feel especially warm and welcoming. We stayed for two weeks, spending one week in a more affordable room and one in a more expensive room. Both were great, and we feel really lucky to have found K2. We would absolutely stay again. 🙌

I was surprised to have to pay an extra $35 per night for parking , everything was great except only 1 glass and no tea towel, nice and clean , nearly everything we needed.
