Ramada by Wyndham DFW Airport

Very large hotel. Nice pool/hot tub/saunas. Warmest pool I’ve ever been in (96°F). Had issues with shower but were address very quickly. Water was very hot in shower. Hard to control the temp. Good overall.

The front parking was very tight.

Good location near the airport and highway. Breakfast was better than expected and the room cost was unbeatable. If you looking for a place to just chill, lay back, this is it. Ooh ohh pool was great as well.

I chose this hotel because of the price and the reviews. The hotel is very large, seems like they’re trying to update it, and has a very weird vibe. The hall lights do not stay on and turn on as you walk into them- same thing with the bar and televisions around the lobby. They are off until someone sits down, and then they suddenly turn on. Again, the vibe is weird. The pools look nice in the pictures, but need some TLC and Cleaning. There are also roaches behind corners- saw a couple dead ones in hallways and one was scurrying around in the indoor pool shower area . The sauna didn’t work on the pool deck. My room, however, was very clean and the bed was comfortable, had a mini fridge and microwave . My sink leaked overnight and they replaced the entire faucet that afternoon. Hotel does offer free breakfast, but I did not partake. I got a good deal from Hotels.com- so I guess I got what I paid for.

Hot tub was nasty all kinds of stuff floating in the water, bathroom in room had sewer fumes coming out of drains and had our room smelling bad and giant nats. The did offer for us to change rooms but at that point we had dinner to go to and I had two teenage girls with me would have been a nightmare to move that later.

Perfect place for a night in transit at DFW. They have free laundry, a good gym & very comfy beds

The hotel needs a makeover. It has a lot of out dated accessories around the facility. The indoor pool and sauna were filthy. The water looks like it had no chlorine in it at all. I did give the information to a staff member but nothing changed.

Pool was cold as hell, that’s why we stayed there to take grand child swimming, But temp was freezzzing

Property claims to be 4 star, but it's pretty average. It was a pretty clean room and had everything you needed. Staff were kind and responsive. We stayed because there was not a concert nearby. The area is right to the highway, and there's fast food options nearby. My one complaint is that parking in the front filled up one night when we came back late. There is only one entrance which is the front. We felt very uncomfortable having to park in the back and walk around all the way to the front, so we circled the parking lot for 10 minutes until parking opened up.

This hotel was very clean and nice, the beds were comfortable, the hot water in the shower was great, and the free breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. We enjoyed the air hockey and large floor chess games upstairs, as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. Overall a good place for the money!

Let’s start with the positives…The bed was very comfortable, the room was fairly clean and quiet, my kid loved the indoor pool, ping pong and game room. Now the negatives… Staff was apathetic (acted like they had better things to be doing than working in the service industry), the building is outdated and poorly patched up, the breakfast room had fly tape all over the walls (hello health code violation), the food was meh (we can get better quality from the gas station up the road honestly), the outdoor pool was FULL of dead ants floating on the top, and the common areas looked like could use a deep cleaning. This hotel was probably in its prime back in 1995 and the decor shows.

Excellent beds. Super clean room

I had to quickly make a reservation because my flight was canceled at DFW airport. I chose this one because of its location that I quickly regretted it. The minute that I opened the door to the room the smell was terrible and it really just put me in a bad position since it was midnight and I was traveling with my elderly parents. We left immediately.

The room had a musty smell and didn’t seem clean to my liking the carpet needs shampooing and there was a dirty towel left hanging on back of the bathroom door and hair in the tub. The breakfast was decent. We paid for a late check out the housekeeper still banged on the door following by front desk calling. We just ended up leaving at that point because we couldn’t get back to sleep as we had checked in late the day before.

I walked into a room 82 F in Dallas during June. The hotel is warm generally. There were space heaters in some areas… in Dallas in June. Cockroaches. They were contained, but if in one place, they are in others. The smoke alarm starting squawking for a new battery at 2am

Older hotel, super clean. Bartender great.

A/C is terribly loud. Very hard to sleep with the noise.

The WiFi at this property is incredibly bad. Even basic web browsing was nearly impossible. Bring a hotspot if you plan to stay here and need to do any remote work.

The staff (especially Nick and Daniel) were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The international restaurant was great and breakfast was very good. Shower heads are very low and water has a slight odor

Beautiful at the entrance, but as soon as you start down the hall to the rooms it’s like you’ve crossed a threshold into a completely different hotel. The dim lighting, VERY low and shabby dropped ceilings and rickety elevator are more Roach Motel than Ramada. The black, white and red Asian themed room decor, minuscule counter space in the bathroom and AC cover that kept falling off were a far cry from the elegance experienced at the entry. I’m glad I only had to stay one night to catch an early flight.

Nice hotel, pretty lobby. The rooms are comfortable and the service is good. Only downside is the rooms are all a long way from the front door and you can only really come and go from the front door.

It was great very clean but the WiFi kept messing up when I wanted to use the TV.

Shower was tiny and cramped. But the bed and room were great. Shower not great for over 5’6” and that’s generous.

check in took a while, there was a long line and they were not moving through people in a timely manner. staff members need to take the phone calls off to the side rather than right up front

This property had excellent guest service.

The ac was not working properly which caused my husband very restless sleeping. The unit was turning on every 2 minutes, instead of coming on when the room reaches a certain temperature. My husband reported it to the front desk twice. Was told they would fix it, it wasn’t ever fixed. My husband went down to the front desk the night before checkout to request shuttle service and wake up call. The attendant argued with my husband that we did not have a room with them. Then she said “oh you must be with Ramada”. No clue what that was all about. We had already been there for 2 nights in rm 2191. Wake up call at 3:00 a.m. did not happen.

I stayed here due to a missed flight. I picked the location since it was close and said it had an airport shuttle. Trying to get the shuttle to pick us up did not work. I was put on hold so many times and waited so long I ended up taking an Uber. When I arrived, the bus driver was standing there socializing with the front desk. When I told the front desk clerk the issue, she said she was just so busy checking everyone out. It was 3:30pm, checkout is 11am. There was noone at the counter except the bus driver. Then, when we went to the room (which had a musty smell), there was a big roach in the bathroom. I asked the front desk twice to have someone clean it but after 30 minutes I decided to ask the maid (who was just polishing a glass table in the foyer), for the broom to do it myself which I did. I complained about this to the manager and they just said sorry. An hour later, they offered to upgrade my room but we had already unpacked and were exhausted from travelling. Then at 9:30 pm, a loud knock on the door woke me up and they delivered a gift basket with weird snacks and an apology card trying to make up for it. The whole experience was awful. The jacuzzi and pool looked dirty and unusable. The morning airport shuttle was running late with a huge crowd waiting for at least a half hour. We decided to Uber so we didn't miss our flight. I debated on posting this but I always look at reviews to make my decisions and felt compelled to share this disaster of a stay.

The front desk people were not very knowledge or helpful. They did not know when a manager would be available to discuss a double charge to my card and lied about there being a hold on my card. Once I finally was able to get a hold of the manager, she was very kind and fixed the issue immediately.

The check-in experience was really great! This was a very special occasion for me and my Lady friend. She was flying in from abroad and I was really excited about her visit. Ms. Edith was very nice and welcoming. She explained how the shuttle worked so that I could understand the process. She also told me about the restaurant inside the hotel provided a coupon for dining, as well as shared information about near by restaurants. She actually made me feel at ease about my stay. The hotel is very lucky to have her as part of the staff and even more so at the front desk when you check-in. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Me and my Lady really enjoyed it. And with the help of the Chef I was able to surprise my Lady with a very special gift. Thanks to Ms. Edith and the restaurant staff for making my first stay a memorable experience.

The frint desk help was terrible. When we first arrived we were going to pay for early check in, then we had to wait because the room wasn't ready...4 hours later we finally got to check in. The front deak lady never gave us directions on how to use the outdoor pool...its tucked away and you need a code to enter and exit, we had a dirty blanket that i asked to be replaced, which never was. It would be nice if the front desk offered things to do while waiting, such as use the pool. I had to practically beg to use the indoor pool while we waited. The breakfast was alright...no directions on how to use the waffle makers...i actually helped some of the other guests! There was a nice variety of food and beverage though. The one really great employee was the gentleman who drove the shuttle, he was GREAT!!! The front desk personel could take some lessons on how to treat guests from him! I wish i remember his name, but he was from near Philly and he was the highlight of staying here!

It was a nice hotel and had a good free breakfast. Loved the restaurant in the lobby (Cluckin' King of the Wing). Very convenient location to the airport. Didn't really like that it is a huge property but only one entrance meaning that it's quite a hike to some of the rooms. I also had to return to the desk on 2 separate occasions because the key card wouldn't work.

Clean hotel and close to the airport

Was there for an overnight…twice in the past month. This is a hidden gem…hidden because it’s 4 miles from the airport and many folks choose hotels closer. But the luxury Mercedes minivan and the smiling service makes the 10 minute trip an easy and comfortable one. The reception area is phenomenal…the room was VERY comfortable…I didn’t have breakfast since I had an early flight both times. This was just a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this hotel. And I never got to affordability - can’t beat the price!!! TWO AMAZING THUMBS UP.

If you’re visiting Dallas this would be a solid place to the stay, for the price, it is an amazing deal. The decor for the hotel lobby & room is nice, it is in walking distance from restaurants & wal mart, and the breakfast is really nice.. I would stay here again & recommend to others.

What a great priced hotel for convenience to DFW airport! Shuttle service was awesome as was the check in. The restaurant on site was beautiful and so well priced. Lots of activities at the hotel.

Great hotel for a decent price. Breakfast was amzaing they had full service and even cooked eggs the way u wanted. Make sure you tip these people they deserve it.Overall will 100% recommend 👌

Lots of remodeling going on, breakfast was below average no meat and food plain

The guy with the ponytail that works the continental breakfast is a great employee! He’s beyond nice and helpful. Give him a raise. This is a beautiful hotel, but the breakfast is not good at all. U have to ask for sausage and bacon. The bacon isn’t cooked thoroughly. The sausage taste like imitation meat.

The property was beautiful, rooms were clean and spacious. Amenities were just as explained in the hotel list. Breakfast Buffet was excellent and very well taking care of

My only complaint is breakfast ran out of food

The room was very nice. The restaurant service wasn’t great. We arrived late (10pm) but the restaurant was open until midnight, which was perfect, but the service was so slow we just left and didn’t eat. When we went for the breakfast the next day and 1/2 the buffet was out of stock so not perfect there. I’m sure we just caught them on a bad day.

The hotel was very nice. Wasn’t expecting that as we normally stay at 5 star hotels. Ate at the bar. Food was way above average. Would stay again if needed.
