Overall a decent stay. Staff were polite and efficient with check-in and the room was clean, tidy and all basic requirements for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was surprisingly modern. Only downers were the noise from the bar downstairs (but it did go quiet after 10pm) and parking (had to park around the corner on a public road). I'd stay again if I was in the area. Thanks

Pros : Great welcome from Jack. Shown to room 3 which was a double en-suite. Perfectly adequate for us. Nice clean bedding and a clean shower and wc. The room was tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. A small compact room with a well stocked tea tray. The weather was lovely so it was great to open the window fully for a nice breeze. All the towels were fresh and nice and thick. Soaps, shower cap and body wash all supplied. Easy parking with a nice outside garden area which we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with family. Compliments to the chefs here. Pork belly bites particularly good. All the dishes we enjoyed and again, the mince and onion pie of the day was lovely. A very nice breakfast with good quality ingredients too. Cons: Nothing to complain about but just a couple of things to mention. The shower cubicle is very snug. The green light on the ceiling was very bright at night. Flat batteries in the tv remote so it wouldn’t work. Not really an issue as we stayed just the one night. To summarise: Every member of staff we were served by were so lovely and professional. We will most certainly return when back in the area. Thank you

Considering the hotel rooms have just been refreshed, they were poorly done, the heating didn't work, no control of it either, the bathroom whilst appears to have been well done, was cramped, the sink barely large enough to wash your hands, leaked all over the floor out of the trap, and the walk in shower hadn't been sealed to the floor and the water simply ran out of the grout lines under the screen and flooded the rest of the bathroom. No heating in the bathroom, no towel rail. Ants found in the bathroom and on the desk upon arrival. The staff are lovely, very helpful, pub very nice and food excellent. Just a shame the room not upto scratch. When checking out, thr pub was closed, placed key in key box in "reception" or would have relayed this to staff.

Room was nice and clean. Liked that there was a separate door you could use to go out and it from the hotel. Very dissapointed that they did not serve breakfast at the hotel dispite advertising it. Sunday roadt was amazing!

Had an overnight for a concert.Staff were very friendly. Room was massive with a bay window ( looking onto road).Recently refurbed toilet was beautiful. Had burgers to eat in bar and they done the trick.

I keep waxing lyrical about this hotel, but they never cease to deliver. I managed to get in the executive suite this time, for £112. The premier inn 5 minutes up the road is £113. For a single traveller on business there is nothing better. Breakfast is hearty, delicious, and served with a smile. You cannot ask for more

Spent 5 nights at the Ivy Tree and loved all of them! The staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help you. I had forgot my charger adapter and the hotel staff lended me their personal one for the whole stay. The breakfast is delicious and the staff make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Do try the pancakes, they we're delicious! The hotel overall is really comfortable and clean, the food at the pub is delicious and you'll feel taken care of your whole stay. I fully recommend staying here. The only minus is that the shower is a bit small, but that seemed to be the case in most of the hotels I searched for in England.

Hi , my stay at the Ivy Tree was a tremendous experience from start to finish. The staff were kind , Helpful and caring for their guests. The food was excellent with so much choice . Breakfast was unbearable well cooked and varied choices also . Every where was spotlessly clean 10 out of 10 definitely. I will make it one of my must stay again places .
