Omni Charlottesville was wonderful! The location at the downtown mall was perfect. The only criticism we have is the pool area needs to be attended to. The outside pool specifically was fairly dirty. There were kids toys at the bottom & a broken boogie board on the side. These items were there both days we visited the outside pool. I would also not eat breakfast in the hotel as it was very expensive with limited choices. Otherwise, all else was great. Staff was excellent! Room was excellent! Bed was very comfortable!

One night stay. Very comfortable bed. Very clean facility. Staff very professional. Bar food and drinks were very good. Only complaint is I was told the fitness room was only open 7am - 10pm from both front desk and bar tender. I learned when I went to the fitness room at 7am, the fitness room is open 24/7, the pool is 7am - 10pm.

The hotel was actually better than expected. Parking was super convenient. The pools were small, but having two of them that didn't matter. The gym was superb for a hotel gym of its size. Overall, the place had the feeling of a well-maintained/renovated downtown conference hotel from the 1980s or 1990s -- you can't date it from the interior, only from the core architecture. And that just blends in with Cville.

The Omni is my favorite hotel in Charlottesville convenient to downtown mall but offering a delightful experience in their tree filled atrium with a friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet is delicious and offers plenty of options. Newly renovated rooms are clean and luxurious. The pool, hot tub and fitness center are a great place to get some exercise or just relax in the hot tub.

Everyone from check in to valet to the restaurant staff were AMAZING! So friendly. The hotel is clean and so beautiful. And the food was *chef’s kiss* fresh and delicious. The pool and hot tub were luxurious and clean. It was a delicious stay and I will definitely be back.

I was so happy staying at the renovated Omni. The beds and pillows were the best I have ever used. Better than high end luxury brands. The atrium is so beautiful especially at night. There is a great bar, and beautiful restaurants. And parking was so easy and included!

It was excellent except for the toilet had not been cleaned and there was poop chunks on the toilet. I called the front desk to get someone to clean it and they kept telling me they were coming but, took way too long. To the point we had to go find a public toilet to use and cleaned it ourselves using whatever we could find to clean it. They did come while we were out and clean it but, it had been entirely too long at that point. Other than that I can’t say enough great things about the hotel. It exceeded my expectations in every way except for the poop on the toilet (so gross) . Even wit this incident, if I come back to C-ville I would stay there. Hopefully and isolated thing. I had to call the front desk 3 times trying to get someone to come.

This is a very night, well renovated hotel. Just be mind full that half the rooms have windows that face the inside restaurant with no tint on them so people can see straight in your room while they are grabbing a drink at the bar.

Outstanding hotel - very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff throughout. Steps from the Downtown Mall; very clean throughout; convenient and free parking. The ONLY negative is that he pillows are not at all comfortable - too thin and collapse to almost nothing after laying on them a couple of minutes.

The hotel is located just blocks away from the pedestrian Mall and other places to shop and eat. The hotel is really nice, from the lobby, to the atrium, to the room we were pleased with every aspect of it. The only (minor) complaints we had were: 1) The items in the bathroom did not include a cup of any sort; and 2) our room overlooked the atrium, and even being on the 5th floor the sound still carried up to the room. After we put the A/C fan on we could no longer hear the music.

This was a very nice stay. Decor seems to have been recently refreshed. It felt clean and well-maintained. Lovely bar area and atrium. We did a buffet breakfast which included a fresh omelette ordered from the kitchen. Great staff everywhere. The only issue was what we figured out was a noisy elevator machine room near our room. We could hear a mechanical sound like a car running, then a squeaking (loud) like an old door opening. Fortunately there wasn’t much elevator traffic late at night. We put our phone white noise on. Room was 624, so I recommend moving before you settle in if you are near the machine room. Otherwise a great stay.

I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by RS, the supervisor at The Omni. I cannot say enough about her outstanding professionalism and warmth. From the moment I arrived, RS went above and beyond to ensure that everything was seamless and enjoyable. I was visiting from New York to move my daughter into college. My children and I stayed at the Omni. I have to say one of the biggest highlights of my trip was the incredible service from RS, the supervisor. She made us feel so welcomed from the very beginning. RS went out of her way to make sure everything about my stay was comfortable and stress-free. You can really tell she cares about the guests, not just in a professional way but in a genuine, personal way too. Her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail stood out so much, and it truly made my time at The Omni unforgettable. People like RS make all the difference when you’re traveling. I can’t thank her enough for making my stay such a positive experience. She’s a true gem!

booked a double queen two months before out stay, but was told they were "sold out" when we went to check in. This was prepaid, we were offered a king bed room and given a voucher for two free breakfasts. When we got to the room, the smoke detector was "chirping" every few seconds. By the time maintenance came by, it had stopped because my husband turned it the last quarter turn to get it settled. 10 minutes later it started chirping again. The sliding doors to the bathroom didn't close properly. The hotel is very close (3min walk) to the Paramount Theater and loads of shops and restaurants. Great location, easy parking, 8 minutes away from the Amtrak station. Other than some of the issues with the room, a nice place to stay. Great bar and restaurant in the building.

From the time I pulled into the valet lane outside the hotel checkin to the check out process and review of incidentals I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was the remarkable strength of our experience at the Omni in Charlottesville, Virginia. We were first greeted by a staff member outside of valet parking (Jamell) who immediately provided us with a luggage carrier, waited patiently for us while we checked, helped us to find a room and transported our luggage to our room. The hotel manager that day (female) whose name I regretably forgot, assisted during a reservation/booking issue with the patience of a saint. Provided restaurant tips one night and called me one day when I forgot my car was parked in the loading zone. The rooms were spotless an dthe aesthetic was tasteful and consistent with the decor of the and culture of this almost historic hotel on the downtown mall. I'll be staying here often when I visit Cville. Hats off to you Omni and your well-picked staff members.

I recently stayed at the Omni Charlottesville for one night while passing through on my birthday. Overall, my stay was quite good. The check-in process was smooth and parking was hassle-free. My room was amazing, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience that made my birthday night special. However, I did have one major issue during my stay. The cleaning staff started working in the hallway before 8 AM, and they knocked on my door 3 to 4 times before my scheduled 11 AM checkout, continuously waking me up. This was quite disruptive and took away from what could have been a perfect stay. Despite this inconvenience, I would consider staying here again due to the overall quality of the hotel and its amenities. However, I hope the hotel management can address this issue to ensure a more restful experience for future guests.

There ended up being a power outage that lasted over 2 hours. Not once did anyone from the hotel update us or tell us what was happening or when to expect the power to return. Not once did they apologize or even offer a bottle of water. For a 4 star hotel, I expected more. We will not be staying in Omni again.

This is a fantastic hotel centrally located with walking access to shops and restaurants. The staff at this hotel is amazingly friendly and a big shout out to Ronelia at the front desk. Ronelia was so kind to stay on top of everything, providing umbrellas and incredible recommendations for dining. Every staff member gets a round of applause! Nice hotel with easy access to Downtown pedestrian mall. Keurig coffeemaker in room did not. Called front desk about the problem, but no one showed up. Signed up for Omni Guest program to get free WiFi, but was charged anyway. Had to contact front desk to get the charge removed from my bill.

I enjoyed the location, especially due to seeing a concert at the Paramount. The hotel comes with beautiful views. However, it’s very noisy even when not crowded. And the food was just so so. But the room was nice.

We really loved this hotel. The staff was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean and modern. The restaurant/bar was very good. We were a bit dismayed about the outside of the hotel. There were homeless laying right outside and the smell was very irritating. Also we were confronted several times asking for money. This is by no means the fault of the hotel but it was disturbing to have this behavior right outside a very nice hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at the Omni. The completed renovation has remade the lobby into a wonderful cocktail lounge. They have a quick service area in the morning for Expresso and pastries and a full service restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

This hotel is PERFECT! My favorite place to stay in Charlottesville! It’s right in the center of downtown, the staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms are impeccable, the lobby is insanely gorgeous and unique, the decor is classy yet comfortable, and they have the BEST breakfast in town.
