Really easy check in and fast to get to room. Parking was a little tight but there was plenty of parking in the "back" of the building. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The nearby convenience store was just steps away but the hotel store was also well-stocked.

Beautiful hotel! Breakfast was real good, large variety of items. Rooms clean and gorgeous. Comfortable beds. Gym is large and nice equipment. Peloton bikes! Complimentary water and towels.

Our hotel room itself was nice and clean, no issues. The hotel staff was wonderful - very kind and helpful. The hallway on our floor (2nd floor) smelled like urine - it was very strong and unpleasant. It seemed like perhaps it was from a pet and needs a good deep clean.

Room 336 had a terrible mildew smell. We were tired so just kept it but it left us congested w headache the next day. Everything else was great and clean. I think it might just be an issue with this room

The handicap accessible rooms are not handicap accessible. Just doorbells and strobes. Everything else is standard and not accessible. Bathrooms ARE NOT handicap accessible as pictured online. It’s a shame, being that the hotel is relatively new. Showers have a few inch height from floor, and there are no grab handles or seating. There was urine from past guests on the floor around the toilet, making the floor sticky.

I was pretty pleased with the breakfast. I would've loved a waffle maker, but the spread wasn't bad overall. The dining area was FULL and I'm not sure how many rooms there are so the room:chairs ratio might be a tad small. The front desk staff was alright, but the woman up there this morning was wonderful! She was upbeat and polite. The room was clean. I did have to ask and go downstairs for more towels because there were only 2, which I thought was a tad odd for a double bed room. However, the room was warm. The lowest the thermostat went to was 68, but I don't think it ever reached that low. Parking lot was nice and the rear lot, even better .

All was amazing, staff were all so very kind. We could not get our devices connected to the WiFi, just used our own data. Our room 423 the shower is in poor condition, spigot for bath does not seal so shower and spigot flow at same time, making shower pressure not so good. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

AC could not be lowered less than 68 degrees which was a problem because it wasn't powerful enough to cool the room down. The ironing board was dusty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The live TV didn't work when I turned it on

Only problem we had was trying to figure out the heat/air Thermostat on wall would allow you to seemingly set a temperature but then did nothing but display the current temp. Finally realized the temp adjustment had to be done from the actual hvac unit. There was no obvious control panel, you had to really study it to find the controls. Absolutely no instructions in the room on how to make adjustments. Room was very warm until we figured this out after midnight The display on the wall looked like a control thermostat but only displayed current temperature

Prepaid 3 night stay on hotels.com and was denied check-in. Showed emails with full payment and guaranteed reservation, all prepaid via AMEX 6 weeks in advance, but Holiday Inn front desk could not find reservation, then said I cancelled my reservation, and then told me they were sold out of rooms for my 6 pm checkin. They spoke with hotels.com who confirmed reservation then Holiday Inn said I could cancel my reservation with hotels.com and book directly with Holiday Inn. They now had found room availability… but wanted me to pay rack rate instead. It was 3 hours of games between front desk and their phone calls to their female manager as they stated no hotel manager is onsite and would not let me stay at hotel for same price prepaid. Be cautious. Bait and switch. Ended up going to Marriott a couple miles away for better experience, higher end suites, more amenities, and price was cheaper at the Marriott Courtyard after full costs and fees than Holiday Inn. There were lots of people coming in for a wedding event and others looking for rooms at the full rate, appears Holiday Inn did not wish to honor my discounted prepaid room reservation and will treat others the same when they have the opportunity to make more money on walk-ins. Hotels.com contacted to followup and said this is occurring with hotels trying to up pricing and fees. Lots of bait and switch at this location was told.

Checked in on 8/8 with toddlers and requested two cribs. The front desk agent Hamid claimed none were available, forcing us to spend the evening buying and assembling travel pack-and-plays before stores closed. Later that night, another staff member Khaleesha confirmed the hotel did have cribs. This false information caused needless stress, expense, and ruined our evening. Completely unacceptable conduct.

We arrived at the hotel completely exhausted after a full day of travel at 2:40 pm. Check in time is advertised as 3pm. The person at the desk indicated that our room wasn't ready that we would have till 3pm to check in. At 3pm I tried to check in again and our room still wasn't ready. Our room wasn't ready until close to 3:30. The rest of our stay was outstanding. Breakfast area was clean and plentiful.

This was an excellent, clean, restively new property in the C’Ville area. Rooms were clean and spacious, parking was free, and the room rates were drastically lower than what we experienced in/around DC area. While it was on the outskirts of town, it made for a quiet stay and only a 5-15min drive to some nice, local restaurants, coffee shops, and even campus.

It's a very nice and friendly site! But if you don't have a car it's a bit inconvenient to get to the restaurants around due to limited crosswalks and rather active traffic. It's not very safe to cross the street.

We generally stay loyal and attempt to book at all Holiday Inn locations where convenient to where we travel. This particular location was outstanding. The cleanest most unkept and modern hotel in the chain. The breakfast was undoubtedly the best and plentiful of any Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed at. And the staff the most courteous and friendly. Should be a mentor location for all your other locations. We will be back and highly recommended it to our friends and family.

I was pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness and cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfy and the bathroom looked brand new. We loved the view of the nearby mountains. Unfortunately, the free breakfast featured powdered eggs and the orange juice tasted funky. On the other hand, the sausage links and biscuits were good.
