Tajh Pool Villas

Easy access by cab from the airport. The room is nice and clean. Pool access by a door step. Quite and relaxing.

Away from noisy streets, other than that it is a good place!

We usually aren’t picky but unfortunately ran into a number of problems during our stay, hence the low rating. Pros: the front staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms are modern and nice, the area is quiet if you like that. Cons: possibly the worst part of our stay was discovering a swarm of mosquitos and other bugs in all 3 rooms of our villa upon check-in. We expected some bugs as we are in Thailand but not to this level. We asked the staff for assistance and they sent a worker with an electric swatter but he only managed to kill a few. The culprit seemed to be a light in one of the bathrooms that did not turn off unless you removed the power key card (meaning I couldn’t have any light/AC) as well as holes in the bathroom fly screen allowing them to get in. Without exaggerating there was probably around 20-30 mosquitoes in our room on the first day then even more across the next 2. I woke up with mosquito bites every day. We also ran into issues in both of our showers. One shower did not deliver hot water most of the time. The other would take a minute or two to actually change temperatures once you moved the handle. We also had issues with a safe. It kept beeping every 20 - 60 secs for some reason and sometimes had a series of beeps at untimely hours. I couldn’t sleep much because of it. The next day we asked staff for help and they provided us the safe key but no instructions. I wasn’t able to stop the beeping so just ended up removing the batteries.

Need to note that you will need to pay for electricity as they read the meter. This is not included in the overall payment. Shower pressure is really bad.
