The Brigadoon Cottage in Leipers Fork, Walk to the Village, Sleeps 8, Deck Views

Leipers Fork was the first stop on our two week road trip. The cottage was great. It was roomy, absolutely clean, and furnishings/decor were charming. The house has front and back porch was seating and a fire pit with seating in the front yard. Location was excellent. Walking distance from shops and Locke & Fox which was great fun. Highly recommend.

This place is super cute! The owners have done a great job keeping the historical legacy while integrating modern amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and the beds were very comfortable. The home was very clean, and included things like board games and books. It is easily within walking distance to everything in Lieper's Fork, but it is quiet in the house. There is some traffic noise when sitting outside. The upstairs bedroom sleeps 3 comfortably and has a window unit AC to keep cool. Towels and bedding are clean and comfortable. In spite of being such an old building, we didn't see any bugs. Downstairs there is room for 3 comfortably, plus a fold out bed. They do keep items for cooking, but there are no containers for leftover food, and no plastic ware. Bring your dog! Make sure you bring dog bowls and plastic bags to pick up the waste. There were 2 challenges for us: In addition to washing dishes and taking out trash, be prepared to strip the beds and start washing the sheets before you leave. If you have to leave early in the morning, that is a little tricky, so just plan on extra time. Also, I could not get ahold of the owners at all. They sent me several messages through VRBO, but never replied to any of mine. That was a problem for me because the upstairs bathtub was leaking and there was no way to get ahold of them. So overall, a great stay, a cute house, and good proximity to Nashville and surrounding areas!

Pet friendly walk to town

Perfect location, perfect house maintained old school but with modern appliances, perfect private back deck with lots of birds and a bunny. Convenient to Franklin and several other sites. Would book again!

Every thing was as presented. many interesting details and decora. Great country feeling We used the firepit and amble supply of fire wood on hand. Barbecued 1 evening using the supplied grill. Draw backs; bq grill barely cooked. dirty burners? Master bathroom needs much better lighting at the sink. Only 1 tv of 3 was used. Never could get Wi fi to work. Howver bedroom tv worked. But a great atmosphere overall.

The house was very comfortable, and had amazing antiques, artwork, and books! (My husband is a history buff, and I’m an artist , so we were happy campers). The only thing we were were a little disappointed in was that many lamps didn’t have working bulbs, and those that did were quite dim. Also the can opened that we found didn’t work at all. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable.

It was ok, some furnishings a bit on the ragged side and saggy. But we did enjoy the true antiques. Some areas pretty dusty.

My husband and I visited for our anniversary weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with this property. We loved that it was tucked away in this quiet little area of Leipers Fork. Right on the Main Street and easy to walk to everything and a quick drive into Franklin or Nashville. Very clean and cozy! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the home and location! Such a quirky little place with so many neat antiques to check out. Communication with manager was non-existent. Messaged regarding a view things including cleaners running late, a few things not cleaned, and several broken items needing attention. We got an odd, automated “we hope you enjoyed your stay” message from them shortly after we checked in. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful old home, I would just recommend the manager to communicate better!

When we arrived the house was not clean, just about 10 minutes later a lady arrived to clean it and pick up some.

The house was so quaint and in a great location to visit Leaper’s Fork as well as Franklin. It was a very quiet neighborhood and is a just overall a super sweet place. I would totally stay there again in the future.

Not impressed with not all tvs working and expecting us to start washing machine! Never had to do that before! Stripping sheets and emptying garbage I feel is sufficient, I think paying to have a cleaning crew is something they should take care of, what if wash machine wasn’t working properly or dishwasher wasn’t. Not a safe thought I feel, but we do love Leipers Fork. Thank you for allowing us to stay in the home.

Loved this house! We did a girls weekend there and had a great time. Within walking distance of the Fox and Locke for BBQ and breakfast locations, stores. Very quaint small town. Traffic is busy so be careful walking. Creek close by is very beautiful. Fifth bed was a cot when we stayed there.

The property was nice. I feel like since we paid a cleaning fee, we shouldn't have been expected to do laundry, etc. The location was nice. I should have been more thorough. Since we were all older than 72, the stairs were a detriment.

My family and I could not be more pleased with our stay at the Brigadoon in Leiper’s Fork. From the initial processing of our booking to our departing, everything went smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably. Communication with owners was flawless. The cottage lived up to advance billing and expectations. We strongly recommend this property.

Me, my two sisters and my friend enjoyed our stay in Leipers Fork so much. The Brigadoon Cottage was just perfect! It was so homey and a relaxing place to stay. And it was so close to all of the shops and restaurants.
