Location is hard to access when driving, parking is in a terrible spot and vallet are a bunch of slow kids who damaged my car. Rooms are in very average condition for the price and staff are rude. Would not recommend at all.

The room was great and the price was reasonable. Breakfast buffet needs some improvement - more variety of food - charge a higher price? The pool needs some maintenance. It's not nice when a tile has fallen out of the spa and one of the filter inlets has buckled and you can see the rough concrete surfaces underneath

We love this place. We did Christmas there because I'm fighting with my sister and it was the best Christmas dinner I HAVE EVER HAD ! The team at the Marriot are friendly, supportive and have been lovely with my kids. The pool on the 4th floor is awesome (ring room service and they deliver to the pool ! ) Matt and Ash are brilliant at concierge, going above and beyond every time. We could go to any nice hotel in Brisbane but we love the Marriot because it's super comfy, no stress and awesome facilities.

Overall was good breakfast was good kids loved the pool but wasn’t enough tables or chairs around the pool but I wasn’t that impressed with the extra 100 dollars to park 2 cars overnight

We really enjoyed our stay at The Marriot Brisbane, It is in a great spot near the river with great views, we had a great deal which included valet parking and breakfast which was fabulous as parking in the city can be hard and very expensive. The breakfast was really nice with a good variety of yummy food. Close to a great walk along the river with access to restaurants. I will definitely consider staying there again

Always a beautiful stay at the Marriott. Free room upgrade and best breakfast going around. It has been a few years since I have stayed here and it has been maintained beautifully. I do wish the rooms with two double beds could be upgraded to Queens. They are so small

Overall a lovely hotel and beautiful staff . Breakfast was a bit limited . Just standard . The bacon ran out and was not cooked well . What was left in the pan was cold . Cooks needed to fill bacon station regularly. Eggs cooked for you were very good but took some time which is okay and came later . The fruit was a disappointment and the way it was presented. It was cut in tiny cubes !! Strawberries would have been nice as they are in season. The toast station was a bit untidy and the bread types weren’t very nice . The Jams even though there were a good selection putting a spoon in The jar is very poor presentation. Jams were mixed up with others on the spoon . Bed comfort not great the bed and pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. The hotel staff were outstanding and we felt we were looked after on our special stay. I think the breakfast needs attention to detail .

Very small room for the price we paid. There was an ajoining room with a small child that could be heard screaming early in the morning. Whilst this is not within the control of the hotel, the $950 paid for the one night is not an ajoining room price, despite it being the fiverfire celebration. It took away from the relaxation time we were looking for, which was disapointing and doesn't motivate us to return.

The customer service here was outstanding. Absolutely every member of staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel was excellent and Motion restaurant food was very tasty and the chef came to our table to make sure everything was fine with our meal. Thank you to Jemma on reception, Simon at the bar and everyone who served us and made our stay memorable for all the right reasons.

I called up the day before arriving as it was a surprise for my partner, place her name on the reservation ( wasnt done) The day arrived ( room wasnt ready) they went out for lunch came back room wasnt ready then out again to there concert to come back ( room wasnt ready) computer problems. We arrived early and reception found a room for us on arrival to prepare for a birthday lunch for our granddaughter - the room was perfect with a great view down Brisbane River. All staff were very friendly and helpful, the amenities were excellent. We will stay here again…thank you Marriott

We were very disappointed with the service provided. Our room was not ready when we checked in at 2pm. Our bags were left with concierge and after 2 hours of them not turning up we had to collect ourselves. The buffet breakfast allowed tables to be booked meaning the only availability was outside in the cold. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Parking was easy as we had valet as part of our deal, upgraded to presidential suite was a great surprise. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the geographical location was close to city centre, Chinatown and fortitude valley. A real trip down memory lane as I did all of my secondary education just up the road. Thanks for a great weekend.

On Expedia it gives you options for a city view or pay extra for a river view. The river which I paid extra for is a slight view of the river through a couple of buildings. Definitely not worth it! Parking and food is very expensive and not worth it. I don’t recommend this hotel there are better for the same price.

We stayed the weekend at the Brisbane Marriott as a little getaway from the Gold Coast. While the location is great the rest of the offering from the hotel was terrible. The food in the Hotel was aweful. We ordered Curried potato samosas and tempura prawns in the bar which came from the frozen section of Coles. The buffet breakfast was also woeful. We thought we would lie in on Sunday watch movies and order room service, but there were no movie channels just free to air channels…we should have stayed at home. To make matters worse my car was covered in fine black dust when it was returned to me (see photo of windscreen) We will not return
