I liked that we were across the street from the ocean and in walking distance of local shops and restaurants. I liked that we were near the V & A Waterfront, and that the hotel provided transportation to and from. I also liked the breakfast at the hotel and the one meal we had for dinner. I didn’t like that we didn’t receive the room we booked and that I was not informed when I checked in. Instead of giving me a lift space with two sleeping areas, they gave me a lift space with 1. It was me and my male cousin traveling, and even though we’re related, we didn’t want to sleep in the same bed. However, the issue was resolved and they ended up giving us two standard individual rooms for the same price.

Hotel ótimo, limpo, na quadra da praia. Muitos restaurantes bacanas perto, bom para caminhar.. corremos todos os dias na orla antes dos passeios. Único ponto negativo foi que Descobrimos no último dia que oferecem um transfer gratuito para o VeA waterfront, então só destaco essa falha da comunicação no check in ou nos dados da reserva, mas isso não desabona a estadia.

We booked a hotel so we would not need to worry about load shedding but only half the hotel is serviced by the generator! We were without electricity for 2 hours! Staff seemed very unconcerned. No towels at the pool and no response to a request for some. Air conditioning in room was very noisy and did not work and it was very hot. Some of the staff were lovely and friendly but others were abrupt and disinterested. Will not be staying here again.

We arrived before check-in and they were quick to accommodate us with a ready room since our room wasn't ready. Room was comfortable. View was nice and able to see the ocean. Staff was friendly, they were filled our water bottles up when asked (water was really good). Stored our bags when we checked out since our flight wasn't until 2330. Good location, right be the ocean, and there are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby. However, there is a restaurant in the hotel. We did not eat there. They offer a shuttle to the airport for R500, we passed because we were able to get an Uber for half the price.

its mainly for tourist buses. they have a lot of group tour bus that sends guests to. buffet dining most days. we were on the annex building and quite inconvenient. no view despite EXPEDIA mentioning a mountain view. were in between buildings and internet is poor. very slow!!! we were on kind of an apartment setting where there are 3 doors and one tenant left his door slightly open and the alarm kept on beeping at 5 am. we stayed 2 nights and I was glad we just did 2 nights. also the bathroom seat and the sink was too high.. just overall a place to sleep after a long tiring day nothing else. (not sure about the main building but on our room, definitely not returning) positive: underground parking (safe) staff: helpful

Overall it was good however my room needed some upgrades to the hardware and the bathroom as well as a deep cleaning in the tub and around the toilet area. I believe my bed was supposed to be a queen or king however it was two twin beds pushed together with it being twin mattresses not just the box spring. In the carpet and curtains seemed to need a deep cleaning. Although I wasn't in the room much it would have been nice to have a TV that showed a clear picture or known that I should have brought my own device to watch. Lastly there was no safe in my room or refrigerator. Other than that the staff was pleasant and very accommodating and my view was amazing.

on the surface the place was nice, but once arriving in my room I noticed spots on the carpet that probably couldn't be cleaned out. Was tough for me to sit on the toilet as there wasn't enough room for me (6'3") to get completely comfortable sitting on the toilet because there wasn't enough space from the sink. Also, killed a roach in my hotel room (not good). They offered to put me in another room immediately which I did take them up on next day, but you don't forget having to kill a roach in your hotel room. Forgot to include fresh towels when cleaning up my room on one day. Also, ran out of shampoo / shower gel and just provided hard handsoap as the only available option. The employees were really nice, courteous and provided an overall good service experience.

Upon walking in we were greeted appropriately. After which interactions with the desk were cold and felt like we were bothering them. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and they told us to go down the road... never asked what we were looking for (seemed like an attempt to shew us away). After dinner, we returned and I inquired about dessert at the hotel restaurant, after some discussion the dining staff said I could have some, then walked away. We went to the bar to get dessert and a drink, sat no less than 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. We decided to go to our room. That evening I plugged in my charger to find a pair of panties that did not belong to our party (gross). The next morning I approached the front desk about a late check out.

Cute hotel right by the sea. Walkable to V and A Waterfront (3km). Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is a little dated but we were fine with that. There is AC in hotel but not in rooms (at least not in ours). You can open the window but it is very noisy from the birds. Otherwise it was cozy and such a beautiful location

This hotel has recently been updated, although you can see the old structure of the room ie some of the wooden furniture is a bit outdated. The shower room is new and pristine.

The hotel was lovely and located in a central spot. Wanted a lift apartment for the sea view and table mountain view. However given an a loft on the east wing so no sea view and a somewhat view of table mountain. The room itself was spacious and clean, great for a family of four. We were 3 adults and it was perfect for us. Mini fridge in room is a bonus. Reception staff were so helpful and friendly gave us an instant good feeling about the hotel. Breakfast was perfect for us and such a joy having non pork options.

We booked the Executive Suite King bed Seaview. There was nothing sweet/suite about it. It was very, very tiny. Certainly did not match any picture. We had 3 pieces of luggage (from the cruise ship) and no place to put them. Very cramped. The bathroom did not have any type of storage space for our toiletries either. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Incredible stay, friendliest staff! Jeffry was at the front desk when we arrived and helped us with everything. We received helped getting all our luggage up into our room as well! Best stay, only regret is we didn’t stay longer!

Great place to stay in Cape Town. The staff was very helpful my flight got canceled and they allowed us to come back to the hotel and out same room for the night since I had checked out early they were very accommodating will stay there again

The kindness of the staff of the hotel is great. Nice room, quit with tablemountain view. The is a small buffet in the evening for 260. I likes it a lot and it was very tastfull. You can eat outside.
