Nice room, decent amount of space. Pool was nice even though its a little small

Room looked generally clean with no initial unpleasant odors. It seemed to have been recently renovated, just not very well. The window was extremely dirty. Sliding bathroom door hits counter outside and doesn't close all the way. All floors looked clean, but a quick wipe with a washcloth quickly revealed that was not the case. Housekeeping apparently used dirty mop water. The bracket for shower head (hand-held only) was broken and would not hold the shower head up. I had to wedge it in place to try to shower normally. The bathroom exhaust fan was missing the grate and circulated zero air. No toilet paper holder to be found. There was exposed wiring beneath the A/C unit and a huge gap around as well. The bed frame was extremely squeaky. There was lots of trash (cigarette butts, food wrappers, broken toilets, etc) all around the premises, breezways, and stairways. A pile of linens (hopefully dirty, but not sure) was stored in bags in the bottom stairwell. Only working elevator was out of service.

No one should expect Ritz-Carlton amenities for 90 bucks. Having said that my room key did not work the first time and I noticed there were other people having their cards reprogrammed too, and the Wi-Fi was miserable simple things to take care of that would have resulted in five star review reviews.

The room was nice, bed was comfortable. It was fine for one night especially for the price. There was a cook top and apartment size refrigerator. Now I understand the note at the front desk about putting food in the sink! My only issues were that the shampoo was obviously completely empty with the bottle crushed in the middle and housekeeping was too lazy to change it. I had to ask for shampoo at midnight from the front desk. The shower doesn't operate in a usual manner so I thought it was broken. I pulled, and turned and did everything and it wouldn't start. The AC works very well but it's very loud. 65 decibels. That is ridiculously loud. There's also construction on a building outside. All that being said, the location is fantastic. The room was clean and the parking was easy. I would stay there again.

The pool was in great location and people friendly Life Gaurd . Breakfast was also exceptional . I will be returning next season .

This hotel was very clean .Parking was convenient. Staff very friendly. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok and very clean area with lots of room to sit and begin your day .The price was very good concidering what the hotels in the area are charging .

Motel needs updated elevator doesn’t work. Definitely not as rated in hotels.com. Rooms smelled toilet wouldn’t flush.

Although the room had been refurbished the bathroom had not. Very shabby bath and poor toiletries. The elevator was very dirty and the walkways smelt of cigarettes. I believe there were long stay residents . My key card didn’t work easily . Breakfast was ok , usual buffet choices but the meat patty and egg didn’t look appetizing! Fine for an overnight stop but not longer.

Honestly it wouldn’t have been that bad if it wasnt for the bathroom. I couldn’t get over the bathroom at all, to the point I had to shower with the lights off. It’s very outdated and had moldy spots every where. My partner said it looks like a jail bathroom. It’s very small and the shower gave me the icks sooo much. The room was decent. The kitchen area was pretty small but convenient. We were on the first floor by the trash can so we did have a lot of gnats, ants, and beetles. The bed kind of felt wet, but it’s was moderately comfortable. We left in the middle of the night to another room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

Got to the place late. Dropped off my stuff and went to grab dinner , when I came back noticed all the mold !!! This is a serious safety hazard. I was alone and didn’t want to leave the room at 1 am ! So I stayed at the room. The noise was awful. Flushed it sounded as if this unit is being flooded ! I look forward to hearing back from someone regarding the mold

Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable. Room air conditioning was perfect and you are able to control it. The room has wonderful black out blinds for privacy. On a side note , because it is a 2 star , be mindful to bring your own soap and shampoo. Some is provided but you will for sure need more than that. Lighting is sufficient, Microwave, stove top, sink, tv, fridge. Make sure to bring anything you want to cook with or eat on. Traveling as a family ,safty is always a must when we stay somewhere. My husband and son walked around the property and even walked to get takeout just to explore around 8pm. They said it was a nice area. Its close to the mall and alot of other options. All in all ot was a nice stay and for the cost it was well worth it. The convince of checking in later was suc h a bonus as were were checking in around 7:30 pm and there cut off is 11pm. The lobby was clean and we were immediately welcomed and checked in. The staff as friendly and helpful.

Not the standard I would ever choose to stay in they’re were roaches in the bed, and by the microwave/refrigerator area. There was also dirty linen in our shower and obvious dirt on doors and faucet handles. The room also had a horrible smell upon entering.

Several other guests were smoking right outside their rooms and that led to our room having a distinct smoke smell. We had to use towels by the doors to prevent the smell from coming in as strongly. We also had a cockroach run through the bathroom

Worst place I’ve ever seen . Infested with roaches and every other type of bug . Left right away and was told I’d get a refund which they kept avoiding and never calling back . Rude woman at the desk who just kept lying about the manager being in . You couldn’t pay me enough money to stay there . This place should be shut down

I didn’t like that the bed was sitting on a steel bed frame and every time you move was creating noise.

Two issues with my stay. One was the A/C unit in the room. Made a great deal of noise. The second was at checkout. I get to the lobby door and it was locked. I rang and someone came to the door. The greeting was, “ what do you want” . I said I was checking out, and I hand him my keys. Then he says “ anything else “. I asked if I could grab an orange that was on the table right inside the door. The guy replied, “we are not open”. With that he closed the door. The time was, 5:49AM. He was not wearing a name tag, nor did he give his name. Yes I was ten minutes before opening time. I don’t think that I was too far out of line. Since my request was to step five steps into the lobby, grab an orange, and leave. I will remember this treatment, the next time a book a room. And I will 99% book with another company.

The first room we were assigned to was not acceptable bc the bed frame was loose and rattled with Every movement! The manager did move us to another room however did not fix the bed frame before another couple was assigned to that room with the same bed frame issue!

I was so pleased with my one night stay. We had two rooms for a nearby concert and were looking for a close place. Only an 8 minute ride to the Filene center. The bed was comfortable and sheets and cover soft. It had a basic setup but the larger fridge was great. Minimal kitchen but we did not use it. Friendly staff. Small but adequate continental breakfast with included eggs and sausage. I would definitely stay again.

Our efficiency suite seemed to have been remodeled/updated recently and was very clean and had a great kitchenette and a medium-sized (not mini) fridge. There is a lovely quiet courtyard for the inner-facing units. The pool are looked clean and well maintained.

The mattress pad needed replace and there was nothing in the room to sit and relax on, only an office chair.

There was a constructive project that started at 6am. Its a 4 year project and they didnt tell us. The AC was noisy. No kid friendly TV network. Roo.s outside instead of inside. So its a motel and its not listed as such. And the vending machine, the only one, didnt work.

Really disappointed with the after service. The propety was great but midway throughout our stay they emptied our room whilst we were out due to an admin issue there end. Our belongings were packed away in black bags and held, they moved us to another room when we returned and the problem had been solved but they offered us a refund but after following up they are now going against their word. Really disappointed as the initial service was fine, the situation was stressful in another country with a 3 month and it is just a shame they've not honoured their word.

Given keys upon check-in. Opened the door to the room with the key and the room was occupied with other guests. Returned to the front desk and was assigned a different room. Keys didn't work. Returned to the front desk and keys were recoded for the right room. Floors were filthy. They may have been vacuumed but clearly never mopped. Two hours in white socks and the bottoms were just gross. No designated smoking areas so other guests were constantly milling about on the sidewalk. Room doors are not soundproof at all so you will hear continuous conversation, housekkeping carts, trucks in reverse.

Website says 3 pm check in. We arrived at 4 pm. Said room would not be ready till 5:30. So we could change for our scheduled event. No options given. Will not b back

We booked a room for our 20-year-old son, who lives two hours away but was working a project nearby. Before reserving, I called the hotel directly to verify the minimum check-in age. I was told clearly that guests 18 and older could check in, so we proceeded with the reservation. When our son arrived at 8pm, two hours before his overnight shift, he was denied check-in. He called us from the parking lot, understandably stressed, and we then spoke with the front desk. Although they apologized, they ultimately refused to honor what we had been told during the booking process. We were forced to scramble last minute to find alternative lodging for him. Policies are policies, and if the actual minimum age were 21, we would have simply booked elsewhere. The issue is that we were given incorrect information, which resulted in lost time, unnecessary stress, and a few hundred dollars tied up in a reservation that never should have been accepted. Bottom line: this experience reflects poor business practices, inconsistent communication, and inadequate staff training. With many other options in the area, I would keep looking.

The facility is nice, the room is well equipped with basically a full kitchen including a stove top. So that would be helpful for longer stays. Check in was a little bit difficult because the second person staying in the room had to wait in the lobby for 13 hours until the primary person's plane landed.. Even though this was explained in advance, they were still made to sit in a chair for 13 hours. But the hotel is very recommended and hopefully my one little experience is not commonplace.

Miguel and Anthony were great during my late night check in! The morning team made it even better with the breakfast layout. I was able to meet Ms. Anna and other members of the Housekeeping staff!! All in all this was the best decision to stay for my staycation. I will be back!!!

Friendly staff

Received the key to the wrong, occupied, room. Embarrassing and time-consuming to correct

I had a terrible experience during my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was extremely rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. Upon check-in, I was given a room key that didn’t work. I called for assistance, but no one came. After going to the front desk twice, I was simply told to wait for the maintenance team. It was cold outside, and I had to wait 30 minutes before someone finally arrived to fix the issue. After the maintenance staff unlocked the door, I left to get some food, and when I returned, the key didn’t work again. When I went back to the front desk for help, they told me I could either check out, wait for the maintenance guy to come and fix it, or contact the third-party booking service to request a refund. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Another maintenance worker showed up to fix the issue, and while it was temporarily resolved, the key stopped working again as soon as I closed the door. When I returned to the front desk, I was met by a different staff member who, unlike the others, was polite and friendly. He sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and advised me to speak with the manager on Monday regarding a refund.

Hadn’t gotten to the room yet and was approached by a shady male character who asked if he could use my identification credentials for some non- descriptive activity, illegal no doubt, his offer to me was a portion of his many bags of beer, through the night there was the thumping of loud music next door.

Property needs better lighting. Too many characters walking aroundcat 3am. Parking lot is dark as well. With this lack of security, you are rolling the dice with your life. The signs saying to remove valuables from your car says it all. Safety is not their priority at this property.

i always stay here when working in DC 2 blocks from spring metro station, 4 blocks from wal-mart and other shopping incase you forgot something.

Our room was clean and the location was really convenient because it was a 3 minute walk to the metro station. The staff was so kind and I booked on expedia with no issues. The only concern I had was our bathroom seemed a bit dirty when we arrived. It was a bit noisy when we arrived but calmed down after 9PM. I would book on the second or third floor due to the noise but overall a great experience. The prices were cheaper compared to other places in the area last minute.

Dump. Used as apartments for people the city needs to house, sort of like a shelter. Felt unsafe. It smelled. There was trash and wet whatever on the walk in front of our door. People had lawn chairs in front of their doors, just hanging out. At 3’in the morning people were talking outside our door. I think they were fighting. We did not feel comfortable looking outside. We stayed awake and waited for daylight so we could leave. We prayed our vehicle was still intact. When we were packing up, people came scurrying out of their units to watch us. A couple even got their phones out to record our valuables.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! I recently stayed at the Tyson property and it was an absolute nightmare. The room was infested with weevils, cockroaches, and other bugs. We spent the entire night trying to kill them, but there seemed to be endless numbers. We ended up sleeping in the car because it was simply uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the door had a huge gap at the bottom, and insects were crawling in freely. We killed at least 9 bugs ourselves, but there were many more lurking around. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing, especially considering it already had a 2-star rating — I now regret choosing this place. When checking in a couple of customer were complaining that thier key cards were not working. We had to run to the fron desk each time as well. Would not recommend to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay!

The hotel was fine, overall. It was the little things, like dirty hallways/stairwells, the mediocre breakfast, fuzzy tv channels, damaged awning and deteriorating blacktop. Mediocrity is what seemed to be the average at this hotel, not excellence.

The location is very close to metro station and close to wallmart. Breakfast options were good. rooms are just basic, nothing impressive about it.
