Stayed at the Beaumont for an overnight with our three year old daughter. It was a bit of a gamble not having a restaurant or bar, but we knew this in advance. It was utterly fantastic! Our room was large, beautiful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The communal lounge areas were the same. Self check-in was a breeze, and there was plenty of parking on site. The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk away, and the centre of Cheltenham is 20 mins or so at a pleasant amble. Would come back here again without a seconds hesitation.

All very good, lovely spacious clean room with good decor, free snack breakfast facilities, good location for walking into Cheltenham if reasonably fit. Area pleasant with some local shops and nice cafes a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property had an EV Charger. This took 30 minutes including a call to the help desk to get it to work. It was very cold and v badly lit. There is no reception or human contact. The room whilst clean had no heating on and according to the radiator was 18 degrees C when I turned it on. The floor was not carpeted so the room was extremely cold and I had to wear socks in bed all night!! No breakfast. Was really no better than an expensive Travelodge. Would not stay again.

This place is unique and beautiful. We have stayed here a number of times in different rooms. The suites weren’t available when we booked, so ended up with the Tiny Double Room. As always, the room was immaculate and so well appointed. This room is great value for money and not tiny at all in my opinion. The owners of this place have everything right and every room we’ve stayed in has been nothing short of perfection. This is our ‘go to’ hotel for visiting Cheltenham. Very quiet and location is close enough to the town centre to walk.

Clean and tub was big. Needs tub stopper replaced in Hillside room. It is gross & hard to remove with tub of full of water. Hard to lower room temperature. Extra heater and air conditioner stored in room made it feel cluttered. Overall the cleanliness and tub were difference makers after a long day of exploring the Cotswolds.

The hotel was not as expected when booked. There was no indication of the "no staff do it yourself " approach. The bed was far too soft and we did not sleep well, too close to the edge and we rolled off! The floor was dusty, dust clinging to our socks, the full length mirror was dirty, possibly polish not wiped off? The designer shower was completely impractical, full extended it was almost impossible to wash ones hair, a tall person would fail completely. I understand what you are seeking to achieve with the "eco" approach, it is not for everyone especially at the cost of comfort - better you inform customers in your brochure. It all smacks at putting a higher % profit first. Disappointed , Location was the only positive. We will not be booking again albeit we visit Cheltenham regularly. 4.5/10

Clean classy small hotel on main road, close to several nice cafes and other shops on Bath Road. Close to lovely Park area, owned by University of Gloucestershire, but open to public. Close to bus services to centre of Cheltenham and towards Stroud.

Stayed at the Beaumont for an overnight with our three year old daughter. It was a bit of a gamble not having a restaurant or bar, but we knew this in advance. It was utterly fantastic! Our room was large, beautiful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The communal lounge areas were the same. Self check-in was a breeze, and there was plenty of parking on site. The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk away, and the centre of Cheltenham is 20 mins or so at a pleasant amble. Would come back here again without a seconds hesitation.

High standard of cleanliness , decor and “ style” Although no on site restaurant,there is an adequate beverage “station”& light breakfast snacks available in pleasant dinning / lounge area on ground floor that is comfortable , elegantly furnished very like a Georgian style home in this elegant Cheltenham villa Comfortable budget double room but we have stayed previously in a family suite & enjoyed our stay so have re visited here as a couple for the second time Good restaurants & cafes , pubs within easy walking distance

All very good, lovely spacious clean room with good decor, free snack breakfast facilities, good location for walking into Cheltenham if reasonably fit. Area pleasant with some local shops and nice cafes a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property had an EV Charger. This took 30 minutes including a call to the help desk to get it to work. It was very cold and v badly lit. There is no reception or human contact. The room whilst clean had no heating on and according to the radiator was 18 degrees C when I turned it on. The floor was not carpeted so the room was extremely cold and I had to wear socks in bed all night!! No breakfast. Was really no better than an expensive Travelodge. Would not stay again.

Very dissatisfied with this experience, not a single member of staff anywhere to be found, met with a screen and a camera and a machine that gives you a key, no breakfast, room was nice but wooden bed frame smelt like had been treated with something like creosote (out door fence/shed protection) had to put pillows the other end to get away from the smell a little, certainly couldn’t see £200 value in this stay.

Stayed overnight at The Beaumont in the Out of Africa room. Plenty of parking, easy self check in, room was clean and just like the photos. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location within an easy walk to lots of nice places to eat and drink

I was woken at 0500 with light coming through the wooden blinds. There was a ridiculous rug in the middle of the room ..such a trip hazard. There was no small towel provided..just large. These are small points.. Overall, l would recommend staying here.

Did not appreciate no information ahead of booking and website that this hotel was a digitalonly hotel with no means of contact,tried ringing no on website only to be reffered back to online no answer to queries raised through contact email form queries.
