Good location. Nice premises. Clean rooms. Creative use of space. Remote property management was a slightly strange experience, with staff obviously around but not actively interacting with guests. Not a bad experience - unusual

We took the cheaper room(s) and, although small, they were cosy and spotless, and the bathroom was modern. The check-in process is fully automated, simple to use and worked well. There was plenty of parking available at the hotel at all times. A bonus was the complimentary coffees and biscuits available in the lounge area which acted as breakfast for us. We will definitely stay here again when next visiting friends in Cheltenham.

Sensational. I loved my room, my bathroom, the location. I would have liked to relax in the garden had there been time. I liked the instructions on how to get into the property, and especially the advice on where to get breakfast. On the Bath Road - less then ten minutes walk, are 3 amazing places for breakfast - but check their opening times. Even more choice for evening meals, and for every budget and cuisine. This is a lovely place in a lovely part of. cheltenham, I shall be booking again next year

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a last-minute booking made at around 8:30pm on the day of arrival for a two-night stay. Just 90 minutes after booking, we arrived at the hotel. There is no reception and the hotel operates a self-check-in system, but everything was incredibly smooth and straightforward. The hotel itself is beautiful — full of character, very clean and extremely well maintained. Our room was lovely, and the bathroom was spotless, comfortable and pleasant. The free parking was a massive bonus, and the location is excellent — just 1.1 miles from Montpellier, with its great selection of restaurants and bars. A fantastic independent hotel with real character, excellent standards and a great location. We will definitely be making this our go-to accommodation whenever we stay in Cheltenham. Highly recommended!

Very dissatisfied with this experience, not a single member of staff anywhere to be found, met with a screen and a camera and a machine that gives you a key, no breakfast, room was nice but wooden bed frame smelt like had been treated with something like creosote (out door fence/shed protection) had to put pillows the other end to get away from the smell a little, certainly couldn’t see £200 value in this stay.
