Spend the extra money and get the room with river view!! Workout in the gym, and do the hydro spa (dry sauna, steam room, cold shower, pool, hot tub). Loved it here

Der Wellnessbereich des Hotels passt überhaupt nicht zum Stil des Hotels. Bei den Preis hätte ich einen ganz anderen Wellness im Bereich erwartet. Es gibt keinen Ruheraum nur eine Sauna und eine Dampfsauna und die duschen waren auch noch defekt, so dass man sich immer wieder anziehen musste und dann im Bereich des Pools zu duschen. Müsste dringend überholt werden.

Location was good- great view across to the cathedral over the river. I found the reception staff unwelcoming. Bar staff were very friendly. Pool was very heavily chlorinated and looked to be dirty on the bottom and in a few areas around. Food options for dinner were limited (Italian with no pizza or bolognese for kids), sticky fingers restaurant was a bit pricey (€15 burger with no sides and covered in sauces yet lacking in flavor). The car park was full so I had to drive around for 30 minutes looking for a space- not ideal when traveling with a young child.

Über Nacht nutzbare bezahlte Parkplätze (außer weiter entfernten öffentlichen Parkhäusern) gibt es in der Umgebung des Hotels nicht, die nächstes kostenlosen, über Nacht nutzbaren Parkplätze liegen 1,5 km nördlich unter der Zoobrücke. Für die Besichtigung der Stadt oder Einkaufsbummel ist die rechtsrheinische Lage insgesamt ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt..

Having stayed here a number of times previously, the Hyatt Regency was my first choice, and as ever didn't disappoint. Its an excellent hotel, breakfast is superb, and the staff a delight. If I have to voice one criticism, the cost of guest parking has become excessive.

Unser Aufenthalt war im Großen und Ganzen ganz angenehm. Das Bett war sehr weich! Also für uns gemütlich. Die Aussicht war sehr schön mit Flussblick. Jedoch waren wir im 4. Stockwerk da hat uns die Außendecke etwas den Blick genommen. Leider hatten wir eine sehr verschmutzte Bettdecke.. Haben wir auch nur durch Zufall entdeckt. Wir fragen uns wie es bei so einem Hotel passieren kann, dass diese überhaupt noch auf die Betten kommt. Das Personal und der Service war aber sehr nett und sie haben uns fast das komplette Bett neu bezogen.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hyatt Regency Cologne. The location is incredible—stunning views of the Love Lock Bridge and the Cologne Cathedral, especially at night. Stayed here for three nights ,first night was far too hot with no window to open Complained to reception to change rooms so went out for day, came back to a new room with an opening window hooray I had such a good sleep and no other complaints ….perfect location

Staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. They were extremely patient with us not speaking German (more than people would be in the states). The breakfast and executive lounge (actually incredibly worth it) were unreal and the concierge was incredibly helpful. The only knock on the place was that our room was so hot at night that we would be coated in sweat. The AC being underutilized in Europe is something I’m used to, but our windows weren’t able to open either. Other than that it was a perfect place to stay

Das Hotel hat uns super gefallen, es war sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Lage war perfekt, man ist zu Fuß schnell am Kölner Dom. Einen Punktabzug gibt es allerdings, da man leider kein Fenster zum Lüften öffnen konnte. Leider war auch in den Gängen ein muffiger Geruch.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Der Check-in funktionierte reibungslos. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fluss-Blick gebucht. Die Aussicht war grandios. Leider waren wir in einem Zimmer untergebracht, das eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer hatte. Dadurch war es leider sehr hellhörig und der Schlaf war von den Aktivitäten unserer Nachbarn abhängig. Beim Check-out haben wir darauf hingewiesen und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass diese Information für zukünftige Aufenthalte bei uns hinterlegt ist. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Auswahl ist vielfältig und hochwertig. Das aufmerksame Personal hat ein besonderes Lob verdient. Die Tiefgarage ist mit 40 Euro/Nacht sehr teuer. Allerdings sind Parkplätze in der Umgebung (zum Teil mit Schotter im Freien) noch um einiges teurer, so dass sich die Investition hier lohnt. Unser Hund hat sich hier auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt.

Ich habe die Unterkunft ausgewählt um eine besondere Nacht dort zu verbringen, den Geburtstag von meinem Partner. Dies wurde bei der Buchung auch angegeben und Hyatt hat per Email bestätigt, dass man eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit vorbereitet. Beim Check-In wurde das Thema nochmal angesprochen und die Dame an der Rezeption versprach uns das uns etwas aufs Zimmer gebracht wird. NICHTS IST PASSIERT. Euer Service für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist für mich daher wirklich sehr enttäuschend

Das Hyatt Regency Köln überzeugt auf ganzer Linie – von der Lage bis zum Service. Die Aussicht auf den Rhein und den Kölner Dom ist einfach spektakulär, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. The hotel forced me to get a large suite (and pay in total nearly $700) just because we didn’t add my minor son to the reservation for my wife and I. We had two queen beds in the room available. Apparently impossible to make any changes. No flexibility or work around was even discussed. We were disgusted by the behavior of the Hyatt desk person. Couldn’t even speak to a supervisor. Then we realized the forced suite didn’t even have a bed in it for my son to use. Atrocious service from Hyatt. So disappointed.

Clean room, clean hotel. Concierge and staff not up to par. They told us every night that hotel restaurants are full but we managed to get spaces ourselves and with the help of the manager. In the end both nights the restaurants were half full - the concierge did not even bother to check. Both restaurants and staff were great.

Fantastic property. Clean, large rooms, friendly staff. Great amenities. Stayed on the 6th floor with executive lounge access. The staff running this was 5 star if not more. I cant say enough good things about them. Loved the convenience of the lounge and it has great views of the city. 5 minute walk to train station to get in and out of Cologne. Taxies were always around. 10 minute walk to old town across the bridge. Negative- bathroom a little dark. We will definitely be back on our next stay in Cologne. Thank you for making our stay amazing! We will be back.

GlasHaus restaurant was either massively understaffed, or they just didn't care about their customers. Got a tiny starter after over 1h waiting time, It was decent. But not something I would come back for. 2 hours later. still no main course. I ordered a kids menu for my daughter as well, and after nearly 2 hours (closing in on 21:30) she finally got it. It was clearly reheated, the fries were soft This was probably the worst I have ever had/seen in the last 8 years travelling all over Germany with close to 400 hotel nights in total. The breakfast was amazing though. Save yourself the trouble, and stay at Excelsior Köln instead.

The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The restaurants were FANTASTIC. I can't recommend STICKY FINGERS highly enough, especially their fish and chips. The breakfast buffet was the most expansive one I've ever seen, and the food was great, to boot. We had one minor hitch and the hotel staff went over and above to make it up to us. The hotel is located close to the Lock Bridge and across the river from the cathedral. It's easy to walk to a bunch of great places, and it's not far from the trains.

Beautiful hotel, good location right in front of the river with the best view, you can enjoy their sauna and pool area to relax, it is kind of expensive in food in some of their restaurants. I highly recomend this hotel. For the chef in sticky fingers restaurant i have to say you have a bad burguer there the meat had no taste was dry and tough it is something to improve.
