Great location just a few minutes walk into Burford's High Street. The owners are lovely and were on-site most of the time. Nice building but it is old and shows signs of its aging. Room was over-decorated with dusty fake flowers and very heavy and old fashioned curtains that needed to be closed at night to block out light and traffic noise. The inn is located on the busy main road leading into the town so traffic, many trucks, were driving by all night so not ideal for light sleepers. No AC but a not-very powerful fan was provided. Bathroom floor was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival or even the next day after housekeeping had been in. And bed was not properly made after housekeeping either which was odd - just a cursory cleaning job at best. Nonetheless, if you're not overly picky, the location for visiting the Cotswolds is great. Breakfast was ok if you like eggs. No fresh fruit available. Shared outdoor space on each level of the building overlooking golf course was a nice surprise. There is a bar onsite, open when owners are in, but they had no beer in their taps. Highly recommend The Royal Oak for amazing pies for dinner - just 12 minute walk from hotel.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, clean but quite a small room, very comfortable bed, shower was adequate but there was water pressure / supply issue when other residents were using their showers in the morning, good breakfast. We were only there for the one-night’s stay visiting Crocodiles of the World.

Very friendly and welcoming boutique hotel. Excellent breakfast served each morning and the team were only too happy to recommend the best places to visit and eat. Rooms were spacious and clean, with classy decor throughout. Bed exceptionally comfortable, we slept better than we do at home. Coupled with a convenient location, near the Farmers Dog and centrally situated for exploring the wider Cotswolds area. We would certainly stay again.
