No notes, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. From the comfy pyjamas to the rooftop onsen overlooking the city. Incredible.

Hotel is in a decent location. It has a beautiful onsen but other amenities are very minimal. There was no bar or room service

This was a wonderful spot to stay. The onsen on the 31st was amazing. Highly recommend staying at this place not just for its location but also the hotel facilities. Doing laundry with a view on the 31st floor will be one of the cherished memories on this trip :)

Clean and spacious room, incredible view of the city streets facing north, delicious buffet with awesome food variety/selection, comfortable spa/bath/cold plunge facilities, convenient laundry, gym, and cafe areas. Jinwon-씨 was very welcoming, patient, and kind to us upon check-in. Thankful for the daily supply of water bottles and towels.

Bath area was incredibly overcrowded Not sure how it could be managed differently but it made it not available —even at 11pm

I am glad that i booked with the in-room open bath which we enjoyed everyday. Rooftop spa was pretty nice but some people were talking loud and not naked there. Room was sparkling clean and spacious with lots of table space and luggage space. Staff were courteous all the time. Executive lounge was fine and I wished them offer local sake. Breakfast was just ok. Hotel is located between Namba and Umeda, pretty easy to get to both area. There is also a bus 62 to get to Osaka Castle. There is direct airport limo a few tines per day.

Spa is amazing and tattoo friendly.

Many aspects of the hotel are fine. I particularly liked the Sky Spa. But the fact that a hotel of this size has no in-room dining service was a big negative.

Very friendly staff and beautiful location. You can easily get to Umeda/Osaka Station (15 mins north) or Yodoyabashi Station (10 mins south) which will take you anywhere you need. Executive bar access is awesome! Pro tip: Go to CoDeli for drinks and snacks rather than the FamilyMart or Lawson so you can save a little.

We stayed for 2 weeks and we asked for a full room clean up several times and they never did the clean up the right way. They never cleaned up the bathroom floor or vacuum the room, so if you stay here, be sure to wear the slippers.

2025/6/4からの一泊、29階の部屋に宿泊。 お風呂場の排水からドブ臭い匂いがきつくて、フロントに電話して応急処置をして頂きました。 結局、臭いは取れずお風呂場は使わずでした。 滞在中、万博帰りで疲れていたので ラウンジでお酒を飲んだらすぐに寝てしまいました。その後もお風呂場のガラス戸は閉めていれば、何とか臭いは我慢できようになりました。 空気清浄機を持ってきて頂いたのですが、フィルターの掃除ができていなく、ホコリが付着していて残念でした。 31階の展望風呂は風が気持ちよく、程よくぬるくて長湯にちょうど良かったです。

Everything was generally satisfactory; however, the room housekeeping could be improved. In addition, the restaurant was often overcrowded, and the food quality did not always meet expectations.

Nice size room, clean, tidy and comfy. Having to get 2 elevators to get up to the room is a bit annoying and the cleaners didn’t replace our tea cups after they had been used, ideally we would have liked clean ones every day. Overall a really nice hotel though in a great location.

고층에 위치해 있어 방과 대욕장 전망이 좋음. 아침식사는 종류도 한정적이고 별로 인상적이지 않음. 방에 첫 입실 했을때 화장실 악취가 있었으나 호텔 측 조치로 곧 사라지긴 했음.

Great location and beautiful views. The carpets in the hallway and rooms need cleaning. Great location. Would stay there again.

The lightning at dressing table is insufficient, and there is no place to put a mobile phone next to the toilet

Rooms were very spacious for Japan standards. Shower, sink and toilet all separate made it very convenient. Views of the city even from the 23rd floor were pretty good. Floor to ceiling windows were nice. Fitness center was adequate but the view from 31st floor made working out even more enjoyable. Lastly the open air bath is as advertised. Amazing experience that everyone should try.

Rooms too small, living in a shoe box. The would no work or took a long time to work, then when it start working hard to turn it down. Bed too low to the ground

Our room was small but very comfortable and nicely designed. The view was beautiful.

Property is about 10-15 minutes walk to tokyo station and the JR line. Room is big and nice however the room cleaning services is too much hassle. Got to select your option before 8am. They will not entertain request of making up the room. There is also no “Do no disturb” sign. Flaws of the room are the curtain. The curtain does not overlap thus after sunrise the lights will beam into the room. The worst is the night car / motorcycle bike that roar during midnight to 1-2am causing a lot of disturbance in our sleep. Checking in earlier or checking out later will be charged. i called the night before and ask for complimentary and the reception agreed to it. On my checkout day, the reception actually wanted to charge me a fee. It’s not a pleasant experience.

Everything about this hotel was great, except for the bathroom door. Who thought of this? There’s no room to walk into the bathroom and close the door. You’ll have to maneuver your legs around the toilet, hugging the toilet, and close the door with your hand behind your body. Ever thought of having the door swing outward? Everything else was great.

일본호텔치고 방도 넓고 욕실이 엄청 넓어요! 하지만 욕실 투명창이라 다 보이는게 아쉬웠어요 ㅜ 이 호텔의 가장 큰 장점은 뷰에요 뷰가 진짜 끝내줬어요. 꼭대기층의 대욕장도 훌륭했습니다 매일 많이 걷고 매일 입욕했더니 피곤이 풀렸어요! 룸 슬리퍼! 사고싶을 정도로 좋았습니다

Nice room view. A bit noisy during the night, but a couple of ear plugs will solve that.

Wonderful hotel, great service and location!

駐車場の案内がメールでありましたが道中が一方通行で迷った。また17時過ぎであった為、歩道を横切る際や道が渋滞で時間を要した。 チエックインの際も外国からの観光客が多く、手荷物のお預け等で対応に時間が掛かっていた。 夕方の混雑時はカウンターの人数を増やすなり対応を望む。

Staff was great

Though the hotel is beautiful the staff is cold, rude, not customer friendly compared to all the hotel we went to in Japan.

The hotel was beautiful and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was probably having a bad day. She was rude to us during the check-in process. She is the face of the hotel, I think she needs to keep that in mind.

Property and room were outstanding, however upon leaving this hotel we used the staff and the front desk to order taxi to the station for our Shinkansen train and unfortunately although we had a taxi reserved for a specific time and a taxi number was assigned to us - at the end staff made it unfortunately very confusing telling us to wait in the hotel lobby on the 8th floor while our taxi had already arrived downstairs, this created added confusion and stress for us after after having such a tremendously wonderful stay, although staff tried their very best to fix this specific situation. Exceptional hotel with very unique outdoor rooftop onsen which was a real special experience and treat:) And a very unique special bathroom in our hotel room. Very special hotel to stay at in Osaka which makes your stay very elevated and luxurious.

Everyone was so friendly. Our housekeeping staff made sure she went above and beyond. Their staff spoke English fluently which was another positive. I would stay here again and already recommended to my friends and family.

After coming from one of the 5 stars ⭐️ hotel as Intercontinental to this chaos with deceiving advertising pictures, since it’s still a new hotel was a shock. Before we even begin, first of all, two rooms were booked thought hotels.com which we are a platinum highest level travelers members and asked through several emails questions about our rooms, spa and other pre arrival concerns, but absolutely zero responses! During two months of sending 3 emails , was one short response, we busy and respond you when we can, wait, what? Are you serious? That’s already was alarming, but deceiving pictures and prepayment 5 months ahead kept us still trying this place. Started with long reception lines, no help or any greeting or guide downstairs, lobby full of people , no sofas no seat , more looked like a train station, long lines, rude stuff at front desk! Any questions we asked, answer was no! No early check in, even as Platinum member that’s not case ( they had excuse to every answer), no late check out, breakfast , lunch and dinner doesn’t belong to hotel and separate company operate! 🤣A total disaster! Stuff barely speaks English and most employees not even Japanese, but international from Third World countries, who don’t have manners , nor know how to how to help at all! No managers, no one’s responds your emails, no one even pick ups phone! All constantly breaks ! Very frustrating! Do your self a huge favor and avoid this hotel!!! We warn you!

I recently stayed at Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower, and overall it was a very positive experience. The building is new, rooms are spacious, and amenities are modern. Breakfast was good and well organized, though for a 5-star property I expected a wider selection. The spa was the highlight — breathtaking views of Osaka by day, sunset, and night made it unforgettable. That said, two things were disappointing. Housekeeping is unusual: you choose between very light service (trash/towels only) or full cleaning. The lighter option doesn’t include basics like washing used cups or wiping stained surfaces, which felt insufficient for a 5-star hotel. Second, luggage storage after checkout was frustrating. I had asked in advance to leave my suitcase for 24 hours after check-out as I was traveling to Koyasan. The duty manager refused categorically, even though I could see other suitcases in storage late in the evening. When I inquired, he repeated the rule without showing any sympathy or understanding. Overall, this is a beautiful, modern hotel with a fantastic spa, but the limited housekeeping and inflexible policy left a negative impression. With more guest-focused service, it could easily deliver a true 5-star experience.

Such a beautiful hotel, spacious room with lovely seating to capture the view. Onsen was very nice, great views and good facilities. Lounge was a good spot to have a drink. Reception on 17th floor. Great location in central Osaka.

The property was very modern and clean. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. The area is very convenient close to train lines, shopping, and lots of restaurants and bars.

Really great location to get to the metro system and a very walkable area as well.

Modern and upscale in appearance. It was about a 15 minute walk from Osaka Station and most of the walk was underground, away from the heat and rain. The last few blocks were outside in an area of lots of restaurants. JFYI, the lobby is on the 17th floor and rooms are above that in a separate elevator, so it is two elevators to get from your room to the street.

Great hotel in great location, walkable from train station with lots of restaurants nearby or quick walk to subway. Room was really spacious for Japan and amazing view with floor to ceiling windows. It was very handy to have coin laundry machines on the spa floor so you can clean your clothes while you soak.

Candeo is an excellent hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. It also offers a Limousine bus service to Osaka area airports at 8:00 am, 11:00 am, and 3:00 pm. Kids especially enjoy staying here. The rooms are fantastic, featuring beautiful city views. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, though it doesn’t have a dresser if you're traveling with a lot of clothes; there’s space for 2-3 pieces of luggage. I stayed in an Executive room, which was great because it included access to the Executive Lounge. The lounge is open from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm and can be enjoyed with friends and family. The lounge offers a selection of gin, vodka, and Japanese whiskey, while kids can enjoy apple and orange juices, sparkling soda, and tonic water. There’s also a variety of cookies, snacks, a cheese board, and cold cuts like salami and ham. The sauna area is a highlight, featuring cold and warm sitting pools for a relaxing sauna experience.

Great location, 2 min walk to metro station line to explore Osaka. 10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Hotel rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, amazing sky spa. The hotel is lacking a bar, or snack food and restaurant was very expensive and lacked any vegetarian food exceot pizza.

Excellent view of the city and river through the city. Super close to subway system. Breakfast was crowded in the morning and has room to improve.

Unbedingt ohne Frühstück buchen. Katastrophe! Leider völlig überfüllt und nicht viel Auswahl. Am letzten Tag mussten wir um 6 Uhr abreisen und es wurde keine Alternative angeboten (das Frühstück startet erst ab 7 Uhr). Wir mussten das Frühstück trotzdem bezahlen und erhielten keine Rückerstattung…

Breakfast was chaotic and a little limited. However executive lounge very nice.

The room was a bit small, in the bathroom had to crunch in next to toilet to open the door. The lighting was terrible above the sink. The buffet food was not good, and rarely hot.

Astonishing viiew from the top floor outdoor onsen pool. Well equipped and spacious room. Breakfast place overcrowded though.

Easily accessible to public transport and taxi stand is at the hotel. Walkable to Umeda shopping district and a short direct train to Dotombori. Great views as it’s located on 27-31F. Spa and baths were great. Breakfast restaurant disappointing and lets the rest of the hotel down - too few staff, no one seemingly in charge, crockery, glassware, food not being replenished, poorly laid out to deal with the volume of guests.

The room was very comfortable with a stunning city view. The breakfast buffet had a tasty filling mix of euro and Japanese food. But the highlight was the rooftop onsen! What a delightful way to end a day of sightseeing.
