Really good spa at this venue which is included with hotel stay. Food in the restaurant was excellent quality. Bar area modern and comfortable. Staff perfectly pleasant and helpful. Spacious airy accomodation is a real highlight. Rooms a little dated feeling in some areas is our only negative point, more of an expectation of A/C of some sort at the 4* rating mark, thankfully wasn't a hot part of summer during our stay. Standing fan is all that's provided. Possibly something the management should consider for future renovations.

An enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full. Staff friendly and courteous. Highly recommend the Coctails, a little pricy, reduce to £9 as £13 bit steep, we would have had more.! We ate in the restaurant great choices nicly presented. £9 for a dessert again a little pricy.

Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff were generally not very friendly, particularly the lady at reception on the morning of check-out. When we arrived at 8:25 pm, we asked about dinner options, but the night check in staff member told us the kitchen closed at 8:30 pm and suggested we go into town for takeaway. On our way back from the town, as passing the restaurant to the room, we saw a family been served their meal. Breakfast was advertised from 8:00–10:00 am, but the check-in staff advised us to come at 10:00 am to avoid the wedding party crowd. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the buffet was completely empty where the waiter offered to have the chef cook a plate, there was no real variety left, only one pastry and the bread for toast was picked up shortly after seated as the breakfast waiters started cleaning. Considering we had to pay extra for breakfast this was very disappointing. As the only brown family we saw at the hotel, we also left with the uncomfortable feeling of being treated differently, which made our stay even less enjoyable. On the positive, the lady at the spa desk was very friendly and spa facilities good. Firm bed, bathroom amenities available with tea and coffee options and complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Free and ample parking on site.

Staff very helpful, food good , pool and sauna good.Only small problem the wall the beds are up against is backing on to the next room's television and the walls don't seem to be very thick hence trying to sleep was a slight pain!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa was lovely. The only downside was that there was a boxing match being held on the second night of our stay. Unfortunately the bar was closed and the room we were in was quite noisy as a lot of people seemed to be walking past it and banging doors

Stayed for two days the pool and facilities were great stuff for a very meanable and couldn't give enough of you we'll stay again

Beautiful spa facilities, great breakfast and evening meal choices. Decent sized room, my only criticism would be the size of the TV as it’s a fair distance from the bed area to the TV and not everyone wants to sit on a sofa to watch TV at the end of a day of walking etc. Great staff, easy parking and nicely located to reach costal beaches.

The hotel fairly easy to find could have done with a bigger sign as you come off the main road and smaller ones as you drive up the track .The grounds looked lovely and the entrance good bar relaxing and dinner service good spa a little small

Hotel was excellent, this was our second stay here and the facilities were just as good as before. Room very clean and everything that you need supplied. Staff very welcoming too.

The bathroom had cobwebs on the ceiling and the shower had black mold on the sealant. Room 207. Staff were lovely, food was massively overpriced. Probably wouldnt bother again

Chairs outside entrance were all over and not put together all of our time there , cigarette buts were on tables outside not cleared up though our stay.

There seems to have been a decline in standards at the Kinmel. We have stayed twice before, once for a function, and had been very happy with the hotel and amenities. Unfortunately our latest experience didn\'t live up to previous experiences On arrival (3:30pm, 30 mins after earliest check-in) our room hadn\'t been cleaned. We reported this and went out, returning at 6:30 by which time the room had been cleaned. However, there was a problem with the safe (tried to reset the combination, wouldn\'t work, eventually the receptionist replaced the battery), and a lamp above the bathroom vanity was not working (we were told that the hotel "didn\'t have any spare bulbs" ?!?). Although a \'hospitality tray\' was provided as part of the \'Luxury\' room package, this consisted of four \'instant plastic tea/coffee\' cups, UHT milk capsules and ONE pack of biscuits We ate at the hotel restaurant that evening, and the food was underwhelming. The quality of the food was not really up to standard, and the main courses seemed to have been reheated from lunchtime (bullet hard roast potatoes etc). At no time were we asked for feedback (normally we expect to be asked "Was everything OK?" by the restaurant staff, or the receptionist at check-out), and the general feeling was that the staff really didn\'t care about the guests We appreciate that the hospitality sector has experienced disruption due to the Covid pandemic, but surely this should incentivise staff to make guests feel more welcome.

Room was spotlessly clean and lovely comfortable bed.

The uht milk pots in the room were spoilt milk. No AC. Room itself was clean

Room was a good size but a little drab and in need of modernisation. Breakfast was overpriced and my poached egg was more like a hard boiled egg! The quality of ingredients was not worth the £15 we paid.

Poor sound insulation between rooms. Some key staff were less than friendly. Provisions in room inadequate… tea bags, milk, tissues. Had to request. Bed uncomfortable. Hotel agreed to move us to another room where the bed was fine. BUT evening meal was very good. Certainly would not revisit, and it did have negative impact on the visit to the area.

Excellent location and hotel is clean and tidy. Very friendly and welcoming staff team. Spa facilities are great and the staff there are also wonderful! Cannot fault and will be back soon!

Hotel agreed to move us to another room where the bed was fine. BUT evening meal was very good. Certainly would not revisit, and it did have negative impact on the visit to the area.

Beautiful little hotel in the middle of nowhere Just what couples need, a few points what need consideration, what in loss of stars, try to book treatment at the spa fully booked, plus the breakfast was Buffy style and lukewarm but very nice.

Amazing. Took our two dogs with us. Very inclusive of them. Gorgeous grounds and countryside walks for the dogs. Would definition recommend and will be going back (without the dogs) to experience the spa and restaurant. Dogs allowed in the bar and Brasserie.

I was there from midnight to 7 am. Did not have enough time to enjoy it. I like the gardens and country feel!!

Beautiful garden and a lovely old tree. Well kept garden's.

My stay was very comfortable, a good bed, a nice room and bathroom and me and my two dogs felt welcome. Would stay again.

Everything about this stay was spot on other than Breakfast. The price you pay (£20 the night before) Is very pricey for what you get. The breakfast options are limited and the fact you have to pay extra for a flat white, latte etc is unreasonable when you’re charging £20. You wouldn’t pay extra in a ibis or premier inn for the above coffees. overall the breakfast experience doesn’t match the rest of the hotel experience.
