This lovely quaint cottage is an absolute gem for the price. Communication was excellent, and the locally pressed apple juice and cake were a lovely welcome gesture. Beds were all super comfortable and the property was pleasantly cool despite outdoor temps being over 30 celsius while we were there. We enjoyed breakfast in the little garden. The only minor point is that we couldn't work out how the gate provided was meant to fit anywhere at the top of the stairs. We fashioned a gate with the drying rack which worked well but permanent fixings would be better. Overall this is a delightful little cottage which is well maintained internally and in a lovely peaceful location. I would definitely recommend to others and book again.

Great location, lovely pubs in the area and the brewery is worth a visit. The cottage is cosy and quirky. The back garden is a sun trap.

We stayed over the Christmas week, and I was disappointed that there wasn’t even a subtle nod at it being Christmas. The crockery and cutlery in the cupboards were dirty and all had to be washed before they could be used. The village, however was lovely, we used both of the pubs frequently. It is central for days out, and we found lovely walks in the village.

The cottage was a good experience for us. Walkable to several pubs and a store. We stayed for two weeks and found it comfortable and cozy. Great service from property manager, helpful and friendly. Parking on the lane in front of the cottage is FCFS, so we occasionally couldn't get a spot. But there is free on-street parking close by so was never an issue.
