Check in was quick and very friendly helpful. Elevator was not working however the gal helped carry our bag to the second floor. Hot buffet breaky was good. Very good coffee. We grabbed the food and brought to our room which had a nice sitting area and microwave.

The staff were extremely helpful friendly and welcoming. They gave a great recommendation for dinner. It was very convenient to have a guest laundry available. This was the most green sustainable hotel we’ve stayed in. In the breakfast room they had china cups plates bowls so less paper products to throw away. The staff member working in the breakfast area was cheerful and welcoming to every guest and the food was the best we’ve had this is definitely a hotel we would return to on our next trip.

The only thing that I didn’t like was there was some ice and snow in the parking lot, but sometimes that can’t be helped. everything else was awesome , would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff. Everything needs deep cleaning, maintenance, or replacement. Unfortunately, very low standards throughout. With some serious attention this place could be great. Dirty frayed carpets, fire doors that don't close fully/properly and difficult to open, soap scum build up in shower, scaly coffee maker. Breakfast room not hygienic, sink full of dirty dishes and water, dirty counters, etc.

The back of the door in the washroom is filthy dirty, water this morning was just Luke warm to shower, tv remotes do not work even changed the batteries. Other guest sitting in hall congregating and teenagers were very loud in the hall until after 11pm

Air conditioner was falling apart. The bathroom had long black hairs on the floor, the toilet & bathtub had hair on it. Excellent location, babe was comfortable. The breakfast was average.

My bed was dirty, there was lint and somebody’s hair in the bed upon check in. Toenail clippings on the floor. An old tomato on the floor. And the worst part still was that the room was infested with flying ants. They literally needed to arrange pest control to come in. I spoke to the front desk but it took Expedia calling the hotel on my behalf for any resolution to happen

Dated hotel. Very clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was subpar, opted not to eat at the hotel the second morning. Stayed on the main floor, the curtains in the room don’t completely black out, and there was a light directly outside the window to the room that illuminated half the room and made it look like daylight outside. Very old air con unit that was extremely loud - had to choose between noise control or temperature control. Overall a clean hotel, but pretty sleepless nights.

Everything was good, except the noise from the old heater and paper thin walls or floors. Woke up at 3:30 am to someone using the bathroom toilet, then the tap , then the shower, then flushing the toilet. 45 minutes of extreme noise. Then every time the heater came on it tick tick ticked.

The room was large with a separate bedroom, however the bed was not comfortable with the worst pillows ever. The room's TV system was so complicated we couldn't even use it.

Our room was good. There was some noise from other guests arriving and a fair bit of noise from the water heaters(?) that seemed to be right next door. Running the air conditioner helped muffle things a bit. Otherwise a comfortable stay.

I was impressed with the size of the room and was very clean. Loved the amenities available. The only thing maybe that could be improved would be the mattress. Had a great sleep but I did not find the mattress extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

They have excellent service. I suffer from gout and had a flare-up while I was traveling and it got really bad the morning of check-out. Of course, my cane and medication were at home as I rarely think about it since the last flare-up was over a year ago. I couldn't walk, so a staff member helped me get downstairs to the lobby and another one got me water and told me to rest as long as I needed. They were very helpful and kind and they held onto my stuff for me while another guest drove me to the drugstore.

Booked through Expedia, about 5 hours prior to arriving , and upon arrival they couldn’t find the booking and that it would take time to show up on their end , and then after waiting another hour and still nothing , we asked if we could just book another room and we would contact Expedia and figure it out and they said no cause then we would have 2 rooms (although both rooms would be paid for) . Finally our booking appeared after dealing with 3 rude front staff and one being the manager , we got into a room . Only to have the most uncomfortable beds and pillows ever .

Frustration when we reported people partying at 2:30am. I had to go walk and find a staff member as they did not answer their phone. They came and knocked on the door once and asked them to be quiet. Patrons continued partying until 4am despite repeated requests from me to front desk to intervene. Next morning expressed my frustrations to front staff as checked out and was told ‘it happens sometimes’

We stayed at this property for one night previously and everything was fine. During this stay which was also booked though Expedia, we were given the exact same room. However, this time we found that the bedroom lamp did not work. We have to take a lamp from the front lobby as there was no other. Then we found that the TV and phone were not working. The lady at the front desk offered to move us to another room but when i asked to see the room before moving, she called the manager. When the manager arrive he immediately told to us to leave and stay someplace else before even asking me what the problem was. So at 11 pm we had to pack up and find another place to stay. Fortunately, the manager did agree to refund out payment

Great location with Tim Hortons and a Chinese restaurant across the street. Lobby is very nice and staircase winding up to second floor breakfast room. Guest rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel, we checked in and went to the room. It was clean, quiet, The bed was quite comfortable, in the morning we got up and went for breakfast, There was a lot of choices for breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, waffles, cold cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, fruit. A large assortment. The hotel was quite friendly. I would recommend the hotel as an excellent stay .

Super clean, softest sheets and towels I’ve ever had, very nice staff and our room was very quiet. Great place to stay and affordable. LONG BREAKFAST HOURS, these folks understand sleeping in and still being able to catch breakfast!

This was a nice property, rooms were clean and comfortable, the only thing that didn't get the highest rating was breakfast. There was no milk or cream (only little fake creamers which we won't touch). The toaster didn't seem to toast, and it seemed like maybe they had started cleaning up breakfast at 9:30 vs 10 as there wasn't much selection left. Otherwise the eggs that were out were good.
