I was surprised it had no wheelchair access. The breakfast was upstairs, no elevator, also ran out of trays to bring the breakfast downstairs. No ramps. Very dissapointed.. staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

This another night on our long night from Alaska to the lower 48. When I called I had asked if there was parking for our truck and trailer. The person that answered was very helpful and even offered to cone off a section for us. Then when we got there she offered to move the cones, apologized for not being able to get us a room that overlooked the trailer, and was just very cheerful and helpful. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was strong. It was quiet. We had our own food but they had a small continental breakfast and also an option to use your key card to get a discount at the Denny’s across the street.

Stayed here as a stopover. Basic clean place, it’s an Econolodge after all. Check-in was smooth and person at the counter was very friendly. Room is dated and furnished with an eclectic combo of things :-) But it’s clean. Shower has decent water pressure. Bit of an issue with noise from hall way and plumbing but nothing to worry about. No elevator so if you have heavy bags, ask for a ground floor room. Didn’t try the continental breakfast.

Checked in and first thing I noticed was stained bedding and hair all over our bed. When we asked the front desk about our situation she brought us new sheets but asked me to change my own bedding. I told her no I am not going to do that. She was kind enough to make the bed for myself and family. Overall the rooms were pretty banged up with stain marks all over the walls. Bathroom had stains on the roof and signs of mold.

The bed was comfortable and the room adequate. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Denny’s and close to a river trail for walking. But the air conditioner in room 104 was rattling so loud it was hard to hear the tv and I had to turn it off to sleep. The continental breakfast consisted of toast, cereal, yogurt and one kind of juice in a nook with two small tables and four chairs. Although this is a no smoking facility, people would smoke outside near the rooms at the end, including the morning office attendant. I can’t imagine how this hotel got such high ratings.

Extremely slow check in. Front desk lady smoking outside. Room was very rundown. Broken fan in the bathroom. Stained flooring. A long hair in the “clean sheets”. A mess of a paint job. A/C not working. Wifi didn’t work for 1 second our 12 hours we were there. $156 - night for this run down hotel. Stay away.

Very ho hum. Lighting was poor. Tv was very small. Heating system was extremely loud and the fan was overwhelming and blew onto the bed all night. The breakfast was minimal. The staff were friendly and kind.

Average. Nothing fancy. Rooms need to be touched up desperately. Paint on the walls flaking off. Bathrooms outdated. No screens in the second story windows so you can very easily just crawl out onto the roof.

There was a scheduled power outage for the night we were there from 9pm till 6am and it was over 100°f outside. They never told guests about it until after they paid and then they refused to offer refunds. There excuse was that there was a sign stating the situation but said sign was in the hallway leading to the rooms, you’d never see it until after you paid for your room.

This was an overnight stay for business. The check in was super easy, my room was very clean and the bed was, in the immortal words or Goldilocks, "just right" - not too soft, not too hard. I wanted to get a pizza delivered and the front desk person was extremely helpful. BEST of all, I had forgotten a bag when I checked out which contained my lock box with my money float in it. I didn't realize it until I was at the Market setting up my booth, I had to run back to get it and it was securely locked in the front office and nothing was missing. I really appreciate the honesty, it could have easily been an mini-disaster for me. Thanks so much!!!

Nice and quiet, other than a railway crossing right beside the motel and a train whistle wakeup call at 5 am both mornings. Friendly staff, clean room, only downers were the top of the bedside table had come unglued and was sticking up about an inch on one side, shampoo packs were impossible to tear open in the shower, had to cut the package open with a knife

Situated in the town of Okotoks but a bit too far from Calgary with no public transport links. We used taxis and Uber. We found the nearest C train station Somerset Bridlewood and then we transferred to Uber. Taxi from the Econo Lodge to Calgary was £50. The hotel is close to a cargo train line so there were a few blasts of the whistle early mornings, otherwise the hotel was quiet. The room service only comes in when you request it at reception. Great free breakfasts, cereals, bagels, toast all stocked up regularly. Dennys is across the road which was very handy. Okotoks is a lovely town with some lovely shops and cafes.

Check in agent was fantastic. Rooms are older but clean. The hotel.is not fancy but comfortable. Gas station is next door for snacks etc. Good location

Clean and comfy at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. For the Celiac in the family, the breakfast area was stocked with Gluten-free bread for toast and if you're wanting a full breakfast, Denny's is right across the street - and it has excellent service. There are several very good dining options (Greek, Vietnamese) within a 5-minute walk.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The check in process was quick and easy. The beds were super comfy with thick comforters. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room was really small. There were 7 people including us and absolutely no room to move. Fairly small selection of items. They did offer a discount at the Dennys across the street.

The hotel was ok. We picked this hotel bc of the price. The lady at the front desk at checkin was wonderful. The beds and pillows were good. I didn’t like their shower towels. The breakfast was super basic but my family enjoyed it.

Convenient location and easy to get to amenities. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy. Only minor negative comment is that breakfast was a bit too basic and underwhelming, not much selection. It would be really nice to have a little fruit and a couple hot food options.
