Really lovely place to stay. If you're in the garden room then you have a massive window overlooking the orchard which lets in a lot of light.

I had a lovely Garden room which was light, airy and cool. Plenty of space and a large bathroom. Would be very happy to stay in that room again!

Room was ok, but quite scruffy and old. TV remote didn’t work with the TV…which might seem like a first world problem…but actually is a hassle if you stay for any length of time! Aircon worked ok, but, again didn’t seem to hook up with the remote in the room The room was away from the main building - in the Garden are- so very quiet.

Stoke place is a very old Manor House converted into a Hotel. The staff are brilliant, but the hotel itself could do with some investment. I stayed in the annexe part of the hotel, which is a 1 min walk from the main house/hotel. It was OK. The room only had blinds, no curtains, so not as dark as I would have liked. The bathroom was amazing ! In general very nice, not cheap in the bar, but very good overall. Amazing grounds !
