Check in and check out was easy and convenient. The staff we worked with / had contact with were nice and helpful. This hotel is clean but in need of some TLC. The tile floor in the elevator has needed to be replaced for a long time. The hallway carpeting was very worn. The AC in our room did not work properly. We couldn’t regulate the temperature the way we wanted to so we turned it to the off position but it never went off all night long. The ice maker on the floor we were on did not work. Had to go to the 1st floor every time we wanted ice. The knob to turn the shower on was stuck and very hard to pull out to start the water. The amenities list on the hotel website lists a shuttle bus. But this hotel does not have a shuttle bus. Breakfast was not spectacular, but it was ok. Again, staff was good but the property needs some maintenance. I will generally pick a Holiday Inn over others because they are normally no fail. But I would be cautious on this one.

Due to road construction, you could not easily access hotel parking lot. plus you cannot see hotel signs from some streets. it appeared as if you were pulling into next door apartment complex. overall the hotel was very okay---staff was friendly ---but our A/C unit made noise all night.

The people were very friendly, the breakfast was hot and fresh. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We weren't impressed with the area surrounding the hotel as the parking was very tight, and limited spaces. The sitting area outside always had a lot of garbage scattered around the ground so that's not a very good first impression as you initially enter the building.

Parking was VERY limited, completely full as was few nearby spots. Had to park in a nearby business parking lot and walk in due to the small parking lot being completely full. Looks like the number of parking spots would be sufficient for one of the three floors. Other than that, it was a good place to crash for the night.

The property was very unclean I felt so uncomfortable sleeping there. I went to warm up my food and was not able to due to the microwave being FILLED with crumbs, which is extremely disgusting. I called down to the front office and was told nothing could be done about it since she was the only staff member there. There were strands of hair found in the bed upon my arrival which was also very disgusting. Overall I did not enjoy the cleanliness of the room and felt very uneasy staying there.

The Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee-West Medical Center was not clean. There was hair all over the shower and the floor was sticky when we checked in. The room had poor lighting (the light around the mirror in the bathroom started coming on intermittently three days into our stay. I put out the trash bins one day, and they were emptied but without new liners bags. When I asked for new bags to be put into the bins, the housekeeping staff handed me the bags to do it myself. I had to ask them to do it for me. Another day, I wanted late cleaning. When I asked the housekeeper who was cleaning the room across the hall from mine if she could clean my room, she looked annoyed and said she didn’t have time. So I asked at the front desk for someone to clean my room while I was out. When I returned later that evening, my room had not been cleaned. The trays in the breakfast buffet area were consistently dirty and full of crumbs.

Rooms need upgrades. The ceiling was cracked and falling apart. The bathtub/shower needs replacement. There was soo much rust and residue around the bathtub drain. Taking a shower felt like standing in the tub as the water was not draining. The toilet did not flush. The outlets did not work. The lighting was terrible and some lights did not work. The TV did not work. There was a smell and the blankets had stains on them. We had to get a new room which was not mych better than the toilet flushed and the TV worked.

Our original room had a balcony - and as we walked in we thought the sliding door was open as we could hear the highway right outside. Got in. Door wasn’t open and it was so LOUD we asked to move rooms. The staff did this as as we asked for a room not facing the highway.

Very convenient to local shopping mall and restaurants . However, is immediately next to a very busy expressway so I slept very little listening to loud traffic all night long. Also, heating/cooling units are older and quite loud when running.

First time I've ever had to wait for a room. Not very convenient when we had a concert to get ready for. The receptionist didn't want to give me an estimate of when the room would be ready. It ended up being about 2 hours late after check in time. There as a pile of people in lobby who also had to wait.

Several things. Staff is a 12. Friendly and hospitable. Property is a 4. Outside lighting is terrible. Even their sign isn’t lit. Our room was clean enough but we realized they hadn’t swept the vinyl floor as we found dead bugs and chips lying around. Lighting in the room was lacking. They also removed the phone to the front desk…which we could have used when a CO monitor battery died at 2am.

I did not check in. The room I reserved with two queen beds was not available. The front desk said it was not her problem. Then, when a hotel guest came to the front desk to ask for someone to stop the dog that has been barking, she said what do you want me to do. I did not stay at this hotel.

great location in Wauwatosa, close to the Interstate 41. There is a 24hr Denny's and a 24hr Walrgreens within walking distance so that even if you arrive late in the evening you have options. The Mayfair mall is also very close by. Location, location, location :-) The American Family Field is quite easy to reach with a car as well. This is the main reason I keep coming back to this hotel. The service is average, friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which unfortunately only uses disposable plates and silverware (not ideal in my book), is decent however. The ladies that are in charge of breakfast are absolutely top notch! Friendly and extremely helpful! Even if you wake up a bit late, and you kindly ask, they may just let you grab a bagel or the like ;-.) If you have a choice, do not get a room on the ground floor. We got a room there this time and it was across the hall from a maintenance room and thus it was quite loud. The 2nd and 3rd floor are much quieter. The bathrooms on the groundfloor, in my room this time anyway, could use a renovation. Everything works... but it they are showing significant wear and tear. Overall, this experience was as good as the last several.

Even though it was RIGHT NEXT to the highway, it was amazingly quiet. The blackout shades worked very well in keeping morning light out. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best on out whole trip (5 different hotels). The omelets were really good (they changed each day) and I loved the heated cinnamon rolls. There are plenty of other dining options nearby at Mayfair Mall.

Well, breakfast was supposed to be served till 10 AM. I got down there at 9:30 and told the lady they were out of sausage gravy and oatmeal and cartons of milk. And she not her head at me and 20 minutes later nothing else has been placed out and I asked her about it and she goes. What’s gonna take 20 minutes and I said well I asked you 20 minutes ago and she says well it’s too late for us to open anything else up, so I was pretty disappointed with not getting breakfast on that first day.

The kitchen staff went above and beyond. Very accommodating. My husband and sons had to leave earlier than breakfast was served and she allowed me to take food for them and even wrapped it for me to keep it warm as best we could. She truly was awesome!

The front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. The person staffing the breakfast buffet did a great job directing a large group of athletes, helping .y family to get our breakfast quickly and without drama. My only criticism is that there was a black growth on the shower ceiling.
