The Paramount Hotel

Location was great, room was clean, amenities were meh.. staff could definitely be friendlier and more helpful. There was no parking other than valet, which was extremely over priced.

Wonderful hotel!! We did the valet parking, wonderful staff to help with this. Check in and out very smooth and quick. Overall very clean and smelled nice. Our room was clean and fully stocked, loved the spacious bathroom with a full wall mirror as well as a full body mirror in the entryway of the room. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Downtown Seattle can walk to anywhere you need/want to go :) would definitely stay again!!

The lobby was being renovated, but the temporary reception area was easy to find and they provided coffee, cereal bars, and apples.

The location was great. You could hear the people in the rooms. We were woken up by someone banging (they were doing construction while we were there but it was a Sat so don’t know what it was). The workout room was small with not much in it and no pool so it was just a place to sleep. Definitely not worth it and wouldn’t stay again. The staff wasn’t very helpful upon checkout.

The lobby is under construction and so checkin is on 2nd floor. only 1 of 2 elevators working so that made everything a bit slower and awkward. Great location in downtown!

The staff was excellent. I received an email prior to arrival offering the option to sign up for early check in and/or late check out. However, I was not offered the option of requesting valet or parking onsite. When we arrived, we were initially told there was no room. While that was ultimately cleared up, it caused stress that I was not expecting. If there is the possibility of parking onsite being unavailable, that should be made clear at time of reservation.

The remodeling was a bit inconvenient and parking on site is an issue but luckily there are other options nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was horrible under renovation. Old building, no amenity, dirty heater and vent. The price was not lower than the other hotel across the street like Hyatt. Waster of money and will never ever stay again.

The staff were all amazing! Such friendly and helpful staff! The hotel is fabulous! In great shape and such a luxurious feel! Loved the 24 hr gym! We did not use the bar but it was such a great looking place with shelves fool of lots of choices! We walked to and from Pikes Market with ease! The iconic Paramount Theater is just a block away! We felt very safe in and around the hotel. Taxi drivers were all great! We will definitely stay again on any future visits!

The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean.

Hotel was great but the rooms need an update. The carpets were gross and they need to be replaced. Didn’t want to walk on the floor in the bedroom without shoes on. But other then that, everything was great!

Very clean and quiet

Hotel is EXTREMELY clean - some parts of the room might feel dated, but cleanliness and service matter the most to me overall. Will say the cafe in the lobby is slightly overpriced for what you get, but the food IS good (the area overall is just on the pricier side given you’re a few blocks away from Pike Place Market). 10/10 would stay here again.

Pros: front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Front lobby is nice and clean. Cons: Shower has a lot of mold. Corners are dirty. Two waters given for a family of 4 staying two nights…come on. Noisy AC fan. Could not stream Netflix and staff not able to assist.

Extremely clean room and bathroom. The location was great. We did not have a car but could easily walk to many restaurants and stores for anything we needed. Check in was very easy; the lady who checked us in was friendly, fast and informative. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Easy walk to Pike place market, restaurants and downtown. Restaurant inside hotel was very good.

The Paramount Hotel is really nice. It has fancy vibes in a small package. The staff was super helpful and the hotel was very clean. I was very happy with my stay, everything was wonderful.

The best customer service and the most beautiful and clean rooms. Will be back again soon!

This hotel is perfectly located and absolutely lovely. We took the link light rail from the airport to Westlake and walked 2 1/2 blocks to the hotel. We walked to Pike Market and took the monorail (also at Westlake) to the Space Needle, making the location super convenient. The hotel is spotless. The bed is a large, cozy marshmallow with soft pillows. The bathroom is well-appointed with a private toilet/shower room. The hotel offers a breakfast spot in the restaurant in the morning and a Korean dining spot at night. The best part as a cruiser is that the front desk will arrange a shuttle for you to get to the cruise port, taking one more thing off my checklist of things to do for the cruise. I really can’t recommend the Paramount enough!

Spacious and comfortable rooms.

an older hotel. Lots of street noise a thumping noise very fifteen minutes through the day. You can hear next door neighbors conversations.

The property is downtown and therefore there was emergency vehicle noises especially the first night we stayed before our cruise. We were on a low floor and after a 10 hour flight we hardly got any sleep with the noise from the street. Our stay after the cruise we were on a higher floor so the noise did not impact us as much because the noises didn’t sound as if they were right in the room with us. Staff were helpful especially when we needed a cab to the airport pre-dawn for our flight home. Convenient to lots of restaurants and a good walk down to the Pike Place Market and the waterfront. There are steep inclines to return to the hotel from the waterfront, so stick to Pine Street or walk over one block to Pike Street with the Target and Ross as the incline is much reduced.

Hotel is at convenient location and staff was friendly when we checked in however the room AC was very loud through out the night which was very disturbing.

Extremely standard hotel in a good way, where I didn't feel there was anything off or bad about the place. My room didn't have a good view (I believe I looked out onto a very ugly roof lol) but that was okay with me, as I was only there one night. I think for a longer or nicer trip, paying for a better view would be worth it.

Room was in good condition and clean. Everything worked fine. The internet was a little slow. Good location in the city and close to rail line and monorail.

Overall I would rate this hotel a 4. The staff seemed nice and the was clean. However, the rooms are very outdated, old and the noise from the windows is crazy.

I was surprised that this hotel had not been updated with USB for charging. Luckily I had my adapter with me.

We arrived to hotel around 8pm, attempted to check-in and were told it would be a few minutes. Front desk staff left us waiting in lobby for 30 minutes with no explanation (but we could overhear staff saying they put someone else in our reserved room). Manager was called by desk staff, and we were able to be placed in a room. We didn’t cause a fuss, as we were just glad to have a room. We reserved the shuttle service that night for transportation to the cruise terminal the next morning (we were passengers 2 and 3 on the 10 person reservation list). We arrived 10 minutes before the shuttle’s arrival time to find the shuttle leaving without us. There was no room on the shuttle, as the hotel oversold seats, so we had to hail a cab. The hotel didn’t offer to help pay for cab or arrange another transportation service, nor did they adhere to their shuttle reservation list. We were apologized to and were told they would “look into our folio” to reduce fees, but we never received a credit (paid full price). The hotel itself was fine/clean, just had major problems with reservations and services.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location. We love this hotel and try to stay there whenever we're in Seattle.

Valet didn’t offer to help with our bags, was surly when we asked him not to leave our car unlocked and unattended on a downtown Seattle street. We unloaded and schlepped our bags to the room ourselves. Not a great way to start our stay after a long drive! Otherwise, nice room etc.

We had a great experience. Tyler T was awesome, he gave us a place for dinner and a coffee shop that were great.

I called the hotel ahead of time to ask about parking early and spoke with Jennifer. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating from the start. Not only did she answer all my questions, but she also upgraded our room—and it was fantastic! Throughout our stay, Jennifer went out of her way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The service really made our visit memorable. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience!

Hotel has been updated. All staff extremely nice. We had a problem with our door to our room not opening one night and this needed to be repaired. Staff did so within an hour and gave us a complimentary bottle of rose to enjoy while we waited. Highly recommend.

Great location is close to city sites, monorail, tram, Pike Place, and lots of resturants and shopping.

The property was close to public transportation and the Public Market.

Staff were helpful, room was clean, and location was perfect for shopping, Nordstrom, Coach, Urban Outfitters, etc. Pikes Place was a straight walk about 19 minutes. Literally across the street from Paramount theater.

Great location, walking distance to major tourist attractions.

Ideal location for exploring Seattle

Hotel was very nice in a great location. It is 2 blocks from the train and monorail station, 7 blocks from Pike Place, and in the middle of lots of shopping and food!

I chose the Paramount because of a combination of convenient location (two blocks from Westgate light rail station and walking distance to most downtown attractions), affordability, and safety/quiet (fewer unhoused people than elsewhere in the area). Room on 11th floor was spacious, clean, and quiet (requested interior view room to avoid potential street noise), bedding quite comfortable, air conditioning worked without incident. Didn’t hear any noise from adjacent rooms.

It was in a fantastic location near the Public Market and the train station. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown, we came for a show at the Convention Center. The parking was expensive, but convenient. The bed and room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Only 3 blocks from the monorail and 1 block from the Paramount theatre.

I really like the fact that the restaurant located within the property is the phenomenal little café in the morning and absolutely excellent Korean food in the evening. They easily accommodated an early check-in and satisfied every need. I will definitely return when needing to stay in the downtown Seattle area.

I was blessed to be able to stay at a hotel, costing $340/night. I think my expectations were too high for a price like this so was disappointed. I tried calling Paramount the day before abt transportation options from airport since we weren’t renting a car. From 8a-5p or longer, the phone line was busy. I called Paramount in Portland for help. Are we in the 1980’s & your phone is dead? Seattle is a major city. Hotel # nor 877# we’re working. TV is CASTING no smart TVs. Annoying lol. I was looking forward to dining onsite but not happy w/ Chan. Bfast options were delicious, but syrup was cold, freezing cold. I asked for it to be warmed & he said it would take 30min under the heat lamp :(. Who wants to eat their $$ delicious pancakes or waffles with cold syrup? The waffles weren’t steaming hot either. The glasses of wine were TINY pours $20/glass. Pet peeve if I get a pour of a wine I’ll finish in 15min on tiny sips. Chan staff had this air of arrogance, seemed annoyed dealing with hotel guests (gal at bfast was always annoyed). 1 more oz of wine would go a long way. Seemed Chan was on an enormously tight budget. Well, we all are these days. But guests are what keep your restaurant open & your jobs. Dinner options looked great. Checked in Sunday & told 1st clean would be Wed! I asked for fresh towels daily she kindly set up. Small bath, carpet older, meh room. Beds were super comfortable, lots of pillows. Great location of hotel. A 5 day stay begs for more though.

Friendly front desk staff and an excellent on sight dining option at Chan. Reasonably priced as well. Lots of things to do a short walk away including Pike’s Place Market.

Lovely room! Top floor had great views. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast is in the restaurant and order off menu and pay like regular. No discount for being hotel guest. That could be nice to implement. Directly across the street from Ruth Chris which is one of the reasons why we chose it.

I love the Paramount, it is one of my fav hotels in downtown Seattle. The rooms are nice and large, and the bed is quite comfortable. The staff is also excellent. The restaurant(s) on the main floor (the Spruce Cafec during the day and Chan Seattle at night) share a space but are both worthwhile. Do it. Stay Here! Oh, and transportation is great with a quick walk to the Seattle Ferry Terminal down the hill and lots of public trans nearby.

We had a great time in Seattle and this hotel is the perfect place to stay in downtown. Very walkable to all the places you need to be and we felt safe. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and both times the service and food were good.
