La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy Provo

Was an Ok hotel, pool/jacuzzi and hot breakfast. The negatives were the bathroom sinks water was super weak and so it took a long time to wash your hands. Also the shower head had a constant leak that made noise that was very noticeable at night. The pool area is very humid. They need to turn on the AC in that room. One day when we wanted to go swimming the pool was closed for a long time. Wasn't the worse place but Maintenance could be better

There was not as many breakfast options as I would have liked. Would have like some pastries or more toppings for waffles, no fresh fruit or yogurt. No complaints, just pointing out that the breakfast did not have as many options as other hotels. The hot tub by the pool did not work, may have been under maintenance. The spaces in the room was what we needed.

Stayed three nights everything was great breakfast was good staff are very nice only complaint would be the jacuzzi has little holes all the way around where you sit that pump cold water out when the Jets are turned on Otherwise had a very nice day good parking clean ect

The room was adequate. We needed the location: just 5 minutes drive to the UVU conference center. Very close to restaurants. The ice machine on my floor did not work, so I went up one level to get ice. The breakfast was yogurt, small apples, (I actually threw away a bad one), oatmeal packets, and waffles. The eggs were powdered and tasted so bad I actually did not eat them. I ate two yogurts. No hot chocolate. Why? They had no answer. But they did have a nice indoor pool, exercise room, and garden to eat outside.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this location. I did give it 5-stars but I have to say, it seems like there is no monitoring of who goes in and out of the building. Seems like people from the neighborhood go to use the pool. We saw cars driving in, the families literally walking into the building, and straight the pool. Then after a while, getting in their car and leaving. That was a little frustrating because the pool was overcrowded. Which I understand, size of pool vs guests at the hotel, but to add neighborhood people that didn't even stay at the hotel?

Rooms were clean. Fitness room had new equipment and was clean. Breakfast had a lot of variety.

Pool was very cloudy. Hot tub was blowing cold water. Everyday breakfast ran out of items. Orange juice, milk for cereal. Bagles and pastries. We had to keep getting keys made. They kept stop working. We had to get new keys 4 times.

Stayed for three nights. The room was very clean, the beds comfy. The A/C, TV, fridge, and microwave all worked well. A couple of room issues: - The pipes vibrated and made loud noises when you turned the shower on, and we could hear the same noises when our neighbors used their shower. - There was an iron, but no ironing board - The first morning we were awakened at 5:30 am by the alarm clock that must have been set by the previous guest...would suggest the cleaning staff reset alarm clocks between guests to avoid that happening. The front desk staff was friendly and online checkin and out made it quick and easy. Breakfast was decent (don't recommend the sausage though). Parking was a problem. Two of the nights when we came back to the hotel around 10pm and the parking lot was completely full with zero empty spots. When we asked at the front desk where else we could park, we were directed to a neighboring lot that has clear signage about towing, indicating that parking is only for the mattress store next door. The person at the front desk said "oh it should be fine, as far as I know they've never had anyone towed before. Maybe just get up early and move your car back into our lot when some spots open up just in case." So that was not very reassuring, and it was frustrating not to feel like we had any other options. They also said " The only other place would be walmart but they for sure tow people." We were up and out by 8:30 am, and did not get towed.

This was a nice hotel. We felt safe and it was quiet. The door to the pool area was broken on our side of the hotel and the water was very cold in the pool. We wish the cotinental breakfast was jazzed up a little bit more.

This property has a lot of potential but is lacking in cleanliness. The mattress of the first room we were given had enormous stains. It looked like a pool of blood or urine has been on the mattress. The floors and walls were dirty as well. We were moved immediately to a new room which also had a stained mattress though not as badly stained. The sheets seemed clean so we stuck it out. Floor around the bed was dirty, splatters on walls and furniture that hadn't been cleaned. Bathroom was clean though. The mattress was so old and lumpy it gave us backaches. Would not recommend this property or stay here against

Very clean and nice place. Great price for a nice property

First of all the guy at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming at all. Didn't tell me breakfast time so I used the text option to find out they gave us the wrong times for weekend. Also just seeing the breakfast area it was very limited on what they had. We were in the back of the hotel, some of the buildings you could tell had been "tagged" quite often. We were a little worried parking back there, thankfully nothing happened but it was definitely sketchy looking. The room was not very clean. Doors to bathroom were filthy dirty. Anywhere a door was opened there was lots of dust and dirt behind. Like they open every and don't vacuum behind anything. Bed not comfortable at all and heating/cooling system woke us up anytime it kicked on. Doors had scratches on inside where I'm assuming someone left their dog locked up and damaged it. We won't be staying here again. Wish I could get partial refund.

Our room was outdated like the hotel which would have been fine except the room wasn’t cleaned. The trash wasn’t taken out from the previous guests. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed. The table had a wet sticky mess on it that spilled onto a chair that looked gross, you could tell zero attempts were made to clean it. The AC unit in the room didn’t work. Luckily it was only for one stay but I would never stay there again.

After being in the room for about 5 minutes I started sneezing and eyes itching horribly. EWe obviously were given a room that pets were allowed. There were large scratch marks on doors and walls from I’m assuming dogs that had stayed in the room. There was visible filth on the walls and doors from I’m assuming animals. We also had ants in the room all over the inside of our window and I woke up a few times to a couple ants on me and my pillow. The window looked like it had smear marks all over from animal noses on it. The couch cushions had several stains on them as well. The pool was fine and kids had fun there. Everything looked like it needed a good cleaning.

Rooms were extremely dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Garbage all over the floors and bathroom covered in hair. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower. Rooms looked really run down. The area to eat breakfast was filthy, the food was very poor quality and there wasn’t very much so we ate waffles every morning.

EVERYTHING in this hotel is broken- refrigerator, window, air conditioning, shower, door locks, outside door locks, hot tub, swimming pool, wifi... completely not working. Our room was not serviced even once in a 5 day stay, even though we put the door tag out. On checkin, the linens hadnt been changed from previous including hair ties in the bed and blood stain on the comforter.... really bad.

Our room only had hot water and a missing smoke detector. It was also dirty all the walls had visible grime/spills/messes and sticky spots. The carpet had holes and the shower had rust. The front desk promotly gave us a new room. This room did have better floors but the cleanliness was not better. Very run down and worn rooms. I laughed the number of refrences to "landlord specials" that I could find. Were it not already so late and we just needed to get the kids to bed I would have moved to a different hotel. We won't be staying here again. The ac did run cold which was nice.

Convenient and close to highway, but not noisy.

Not so good: The beds are very small and very lumpy/well used. Not big enough for two unless you are a couple. We asked for cot and bedding so our third person could sleep on the floor. They didnt have a cot but did provide with exyra bedding. The walls are so thin you hear EVERYTHING! Both the AC and the refrigerator are loud but did run just fine. Also, the room literally shakes when next door takes a shower. The good: was very clean, bathroom was roomy, breakfast options were plentiful (waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, cereals, bagels, etc.) Indoor pool was nice even though the jets in the hot tub didnt really work. I would not stay here again, next time time Id try the comfort inn suites next door.

The room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit didn’t work as well as we would have liked, but we grabbed a fan and made it work. I think it probably just needs to be cleaned. It’s a little loud at times with an adjoining room (screaming baby did not help) and the hallway, but our door looked like someone had tried to bust in at some point and it didn’t seal properly so other rooms may be quieter. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was good, the room was very spacious, and the location was very convenient. I would stay again.

The service wasn’t bad. The carpets were dirty. The bathtub was dirty and it looked rusty. The beds did not feel at all like queen size which is what we booked. They were uncomfortable for two people.

We had a nice room with a view. The room was spacious and had nice chairs to sit in. Apparently there was an ant problem at the hotel because we could smell raid and we had ants in our room.

Staff was excellent, but a) we booked a king and they only had double beds and b) the wireless is so slow that it is barely useable

The rooms are spacious & clean. They were resently renovated, but still need some finishing touches. The hotel is conveniently located near Route 15, with plenty of shopping and dining options.

I was incredibly disappointed upon arrival. I had booked my rooms through a third party vendor and the hotel could only find one of my rooms. Even though I had my receipt in my email they would not honor the original price. The front receptionist claimed she was new and didn’t know how to help us and the manager on duty, Gage, was less than impressive and didn’t seem to care at all that we were upset. He was more concerned about his phone call and made us wait. Luckily a new employee, Chandler, showed up and was able to correct the mistake. I won’t stay at a La Quinta Inn again if I have the choice.

Rooms are clean I had to move rooms 3 times due to 1. The toilet broke 2. The AC broke 3. The toilet making loud noises all night and flush handle broke. I got charged an extra $156 in error that I have to get resolved

Great place to stay. Fantastic breakfast. Cleaning ladies were on top of their game. Went up and above our expectations. CHAD at the front desk is an asset to the team and company, assisting us with our needs in town.

Was locked out of my room every single day I returned. The key would not access anything. Staff, a female, could have cared less. The male hotel front desk man the first night, was exceptional and professional.

The bed was comfortable is what I liked. Got charged a no show charge even though I preregistered and showed up according to their terms. Double charged for the room. When I tried to address it the day staff wouldn’t give me the name of a manager nor her name. Lights in the hall too dim. Ice machine broken on our floor. No ice bucket in our room.

Gave me the key at 4am to an aleady occupied room. Almost got attacked by the dog in that room and weird eye contact with the couples on bed. The washroom doors were aged. Receptionist was missing at 4am, showed up after calling their phone number.

Qick checkin and friendly stagg

Zach at check-in went above and beyond after an error (on our part) with booking. When choosing a hotel, we will prioritize staying with them again over the course of our travels. Hotel is as you’d expect with everything clean and updated.

The lady at the front desk was rude, snappy and short when I went to check in. She acted annoyed that she had to come to the desk to help me. I had called the night before my reservation for an early check in at 130pm, I was told it was noted on my reservation. I showed up around 145pm to check in, one of the cleaning staff had to yell for her to come to the front desk. She came out and said to come back later because she had no rooms. She didn't even give me a chance to say anything. I came back an hour later and told her that I should have an early check in, she rolled her eyes and said that she was checking me in early and that was doing me a favor (at this time it was 245-250 pm) I gave her my ID and my credit card, she pushed the paperwork at me to fill out, I had missed two spots where I needed to initial, she shoved the paper back at me and told me to finish it. I finished filling it out, took my room key and hurried out of the lobby. I didn't feel welcomed and I'm hesitant to ask the front desk for anything.

The hotel was clean and nice but we had to wait for someone to check us in for about 15 minutes. No one was at the front desk.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Outside could use some TLC and parking area had some homeless around.

Property is on a very busy road that does not allow any left turns or uturns onto the property. Kept having to drive way past almost a mile before eventually being able to turn around.

This hotel was in the perfect location for all of my Orem/Provo area needs!

It was easy to get to and a good price. It was a little tricky getting to some of the places nearby.

I loved the free breakfast, the location and proximity to UVU, and the staff. :)

Edoardo was very courteous and helpful when checking in late on the night of the 13th. The motel was quiet, and very convenient when accessing interstate 15.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orem University Pwy/Provo is a convenient and well-located hotel, easily accessible from the freeway and situated on the main street. Its proximity to a variety of dining options, all within a 10-minute drive, adds to its appeal. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, a thoughtful addition that enhances the overall experience. However, the quality of the beds could use improvement. After a week-long stay, I found them less comfortable, resulting in some back discomfort. Despite this, the hotel remains a solid choice, offering good value and convenience. I would happily stay here again, particularly if the bedding is upgraded. Overall, it’s a nice option for travelers in the area.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Outside area needed cleaning up, sidewalks in back area were not even - danger for those with balance issues! Room was in back of hotel - it would have been nice if the ice and other amenities had been in the middle of the rooms, rather than the front lobby. The hotel was full - so they didn’t plan well and ran out of food around 8:30 am - before the end of breakfast service. Not a lot of variety - such as offerings of fruit, yogurts, cereals and breads
