La Quinta by Wyndham Orem University Pwy Provo

I was really bummed with our experience at this hotel. It was close & convenient for a walk to the UCCU for a concert, pretty much the only thing that was worth our short stay. We checked in around 5:30 pm, & were not there long before we left for the concert. Right when I walked into the bathroom, it smelled like pee. Underneath the toilet seat, there was pee underneath the lid. Behind the toilet there was also a wad of hair, & hair inside the shower which we had not used yet since we had just entered the room. The carpet by the beds had not been vacuumed, and on the floor by the mirror there was white powdery stuff on the floor. The room wasn’t too bad looking for an older hotel, but it definitely was not cleaned at all other than the beds being made. I hope that the bedding was changed before making the bed. The parking lot was very full & parking was not the best. There was a U-Haul with a trailer parked across multiple spots taking up the very few parking spots that were available. This should have been moved & parked back in the extra parking lot. I would not drive back in the parking lot furthest away from the hotel, there are big holes & dips that need to be filled. I was extremely upset after talking to the hotel “manager” when I had checked out that our room was disgusting & I even took pictures of what hadn’t been cleaned. He didn’t say much & said the white powdery stuff was paint, which it was not, & even if it was. Why was it not swept? Would not recommend!

Continental breakfast was fine and the rooms were clean. Nice pool and hot tub. I didn’t really like the French doors to the bathroom and the toilet was really low. I felt like it was for a child. However, beds were comfortable and overall it was fine.

Great-clean rooms-parking was great-staff friendly and helpful

The staff was very helpful. We struggled to find the hotel since we arrived in the dark and the sign on the road was not lit.

for my brief stay in the area, this facility checked all the boxes for a comfortable experience.
