The check-in process was fast and the front desk personnel was friendly. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Walls and doors need painting. The closet had so much dirt it felt like sand. The wall by the shower curtain rod was full of holes, towel shelf was full of dust and the pool was dirty. It had trash, bugs, and moldy tiles.

Been staying there since 2016. Maintenance has been slowly declining as vandalism has increased. Corner bead on door ways have been hit by carts and beat up. South door lock is in need of repair. Pool was cloudy and in need of chlorine.

Requested assessable room because I have MS and difficulty walking. Given assessable room on 2nd floor but elevator out of order. Cannot climb stairs. Tried to explain to clerk but she said it is an assessable room. After a long conversation she finally “found” room on first floor. Not pleasant exchange.

Very clean room, towels very clean, staff was ok not inviting or volunteer info, laundry room was inoperable, water bugs running around the outside garbage can. Continental breakfast not good all cold food pretty much

Hotel is in a decent location. When we checked in we received no information about wifi or breakfast hours. The next morning we went to pool only to find it filthy with leaves and bugs. We were staying two nights and asked for no cleaning service but just new towels, none were ever delivered. Our “suite” was missing a tv in the sitting area and the door to the bedroom didn’t shut fully or lock. While cleaning to depart found a spider on the bed and dead roach on the floor.

Property was not maintained. The lobby and hall had trash and debris on the carpet, along with pieces of the drywall missing from the wall. The entryway covered parking had an employee car parked inside of it the whole time, making it impossible to use while it was raining with our 4 month old baby. Our room was dusty and unclean, even the sheets had what looked like Cheeto crumbs. The restroom door was rusted, painted falling off and barely closed properly. The toilet actually moved when you sat on it, was rusted at the base and had been called over to cover the rust. We didn’t use the shower due to missing enamel and paint scraping off of the tub. Bathroom counter top was being held up by a piece of wood an an abundance of sealant o sealant. Hair on the floor of the bathroom upon arrival, along with dirt and grime on tiles. Nothing had been cleaned or maintained. We slept in our clothing to avoid touching the sheets, as much as possible. We could hear everything from the lobby, upstairs and neighbors.

Found bed bugs in the room. Slept there one night, woke up covered in bites. I had around 15 and my friend who slept in the other bed had 10. We went up front and asked for a refund. Front desk lady was apologetic and helpful. Ended up having to use our money to wash and dry our clothes and spent hours of our trip doing laundry and the rest of the time super uncomfortable from being covered in bites. They were quick to refund but I would be afraid to stay here again.

The room was clean but the neighbors did a party with loud music all the night until 4:30am. The wall was very thin and so you hear everything from the other rooms. Very disappointed.

Didn't realize this was a more "simple" hotel. Was OK with no microwave oven in room and no coffeemaker in room since coffee is available in breakfast area. Microwave in the breakfast area instead of hidden, for use of a better term, in small alcove where snacks & cold drinks are available for sale would be more user friendly. Beds are VERY comfortable. Bathrooms are a nice size & well stocked. Thank you!

The room had no microwave or coffee maker. The breakfast was inadequate. No hot food, no microwave, ran out of food, nobody really in charge to monitor it. Easy to hear people in other rooms. Bed was comfortable, shower worked well, room was clean and staff was professional.

Very clean and quiet, staff was very helpful !! The beds were VERY soft and comfortable. Water pressure was perfect and restrooms were clean. The fact that they have smart TVs with tubi and all the other entertainment apps was the best thing as opposed to basic cable channels In other hotels ! They’re also conveniently right next to a corner store with back roads access instead of just main road access.

Not a great experience with checkin. Once I got there, was told I didn’t have a room and they were sold out. Could not see my reservation on their computer. Had to call hotels.com to get it straight. Spent 40 minutes trying to get a room that had been booked for a week. Room was great and all was well after that. Apparently there is a disconnect between hotels.com and hotel.

Only problem we had was room service. We had to ask the front desk to have our room serviced, and then the only thing we got was fresh bath linens, which we had to go get ourselves because there wasn't anyone available to bring it to our room.

I couldnt tell you since you guys gave my room away even though i had call and said my kids will be there late and the guy who answer me said its fine , that was the second time i called because the first girl who answer just hang up on me . And when my kids got there they were told there was no room . When i called they this girl name maddi or something like that was trying to say it was my fault since i didnt call earlier when I HAD CALL, my kids were at six glags they drove from houston which is 3-4 hrs away i didnt want them Driving back and they get this . And then the people who work there dont know anything , everything i asked was i dont know , whats the name of the manager i dont know , when will he be there i dont know. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPEN WORST HOTEL EVER AND THAT GOES TO THE WORKERS THERE TOO. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK A STAY IN THIS PETTY HOTEL .

Our room was given to another guest. They checked another guest in under our reservation. We showed up at midnight to excuses and shrugging shoulders. We got a room eventually but not what we reserved. Carpet was dirt, placed smelled. Made no attempt to apologize or make issue right.

The beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE! Super clean and affordable. Bagel breakfast in the morning was so good and the coffee was delicious! Additionally, I will say this- get a rental car if you plan on staying here. It’s about 25-30 minutes outside of the city of downtown San Antonio.

Our air conditioner was broken so my kids and I needed a cool hotel for a few days. The room, lobby, and pool were excellent. This hotel used to be a different brand and was renovated and turned into a Spark. It is much better now and the staff were very friendly. It is next door to a McDonald's and convenience store. Just across the highway are Walmart, Walgreens and some quick restaurants.

Hotel was nice and room was clean. We were a little disappointed by the breakfast. Nothing cooked. Only cereals, muffins and bagels. Also there was only one microwave in the whole place
