Decor was lovely, room was nice (if not boiling hot) but the food was shocking. Handed an evening sunday roast and burger menu after having made a reservation in the afternoon. No sunday roasts or any buns/bread left, none of the starters we ordered were available, no hand cut chips... not sure why they took reservations. Very disappointing, unfortunately wouldnt recommended for this reason

We had a fantastic stay at this quirky and beautiful hotel. Even though we had booked the petite double room it didn't disappoint. As hotel rooms go it wasn't small. Beautifully decorated with beautiful ornate furniture and very comfy bed. Tea , coffee and water replenished every day. The breakfast and food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were excellent, lovely and friendly. We would definitely go back.
