Sadly as good as front desk staff was, it was quickly lost there is no food or facilities available on Sundays and late any other night (no mention in any Mantra advertising) Mantra Tonsley is set within a dark and solitude industrial area, (this quickly overshadows any if any highlights Mantra has to offer)which would be very off putting for certain groups seeking accommodation. Then the room I had had no bible, no information pack or stationary, nothing with Mantras details within the room, leaving you to have to “google” information to join the Mantra web as no pass word was offered at booking in. No information for tv remote (hence a information pack in room) be so handy as you offered only the basic tv channels (a Ymca would offer more)then when front desk is contacted after being bounced around to find someone who answers (not on a Mantra room phone as one is not supplied) not much help is offered from another Mantra facility. There was tea and coffee facility in room with a small long life milk. NO WATER OR ICE IN ROOM not even a bottle of water, you had to head to bathroom sink providing a lasting image of the Mantra way!,

Staff were very nice, hotel was very nice. The biggest downfall is their lack of parking, approx 12 spaces, first in best dressed which was ridiculous. They do have overflow parking but its a long walk away and when ita late at night, not a great area where the parking is.

Good, new hotel. Room generous size, very clean, comfortable bed. Cafe downstairs good coffee, good for brekkie (we didn't eat any other meals there). The only thing that was irritating is that the parking on site is very limited and if you miss a park it is NOT clear where to park (and if you arrive after hours like we did, no-one to ask). Overall, we will likely stay here again next time we are in Adelaide.

We checked in after reception had closed. No one explained how to find the key, check in or how to locate our rooms so had to follow it up ourselves. The car parking is located a fair distance from the hotel. The throes pillows had stains on them. Otherwise a nice hotel just needs a few improvements. No usb ports to charge our phones.

Staff handled requests above and beyond expectations. Rooms seem to be completely soundproof. The only small problems I was that housekeeping failed to clean my room leaving me to ask desk staff for assistance and my curtains came off part of the rod. A small problem as I fixed it

Honestly, we had the poorest services so far in our holidays. During our 4 nights stay, we had only one day room service, tea/coffee and linen/towel replacement, commode/basin cleaning, no replacement of tea cup/mugs/glasses. Though there was notice that there will be no room service on 25th and 26th December.

It was brand new with filtered water on each floor and very quiet. The staff were accommodating and friendly. There was free parking. All streaming services are available on a big smart TV which was great. It's a bit industrial but close to the repat hospital. The only downside is when the restaurant closes early, I struggled to find food close by other than fastfood.

Room was spacious, shower water not contained to the shower area because there was no door, just a half glass screen. Parking on site was ridiculous, when no parking spaces available you were told to park on the adjoining property, this property advised with signage that unauthorised vehicles would be towed away!! For this reason we would only stay here again if nothing else was available

The room was quiet. We were on the top level so that may have helped. Rooms are lovely and spacious and the bed was comfortable. I saw you can request a matress topper before arriving so did that. Didn't check it was on there but the bed was very comfy. Lovely bathroom as well. Only negative was one of the days our room wasn't serviced (we had left the please make my room up sign on the door) and we had left the towels on the floor to be replaced so got back at 11pm needing a shower to have only wet towels and there's no reception that late to be able to get towels. We had left the room a bit after midday so maybe that's why? Did the same the next day though and housekeeping was still there and serviced the room.

Not a real hotel. More like serviced apartment. Really hard bed. Limited room service. Reception only there a limited amount of time. If you lose your key card they charge $155 for a security guard to come out. Marion hotel is near by and much better.

Good location for a conference. The hotel very recently joined the Mantra/Accor group and staff were getting used to the new system. The small cafe/dining area was under-staffed some days but helpfully provided a ‘takeaway service’ rather than ‘room service’. The menu was limited but the food was good. Reception staff went above and beyond expectations helping out with printing, directions, and transport arrangements.

We stayed here while visiting family near McLaren Vale and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed with our baby and was supplied a porta cot for her. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe served a delicious breakfast. Only issue was the parking lot was very tight with not many spaces. We arrived back each night in the evening and there were no free spaces. Other than that a great hotel with a nice and clean, modern feel. Will happily stay again, hopefully the parking will be better next time
