I did not like that we weren't notified about the construction on this property. The pool was filled with what appeared to be mattress boxes, abut not water. While i appreciate upgrades, this was a disappointment.

Found a few hairs in the bathroom that weren't ours also no bathroom floor towel for showers. Very high bleachy smell when we arrived but anticipated after a few hours. Bed very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was friendly and accomodating. There was mold in the bathroom on ceiling. Counter and mirror in bathroom was dirty. Floor looked like it had not been swept. Coverlet on one of the beds had black dirt on it. On the entry to the bathroom there were "hand boogers" all over the door casing.

Upon arrival our toilet clogged from normal use. The room smelled musty and damp. The air conditioner had a foul smell coming out of it. My wife described it as stinky feet. We went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. All they did was unclog the toilet and wouldn't give us a new room. The following day they deactived our key cards and we had to go get now ones. I generally have good experiences at holiday Inns but i wouldn't recommend the one in Murphy NC

The remote to tv didn’t work properly, bathtub did not have a shower curtain told front desk person they said wow and that’s it, bathtub bottom very warn out. After taking a shower the floor was very wet a safety hazard. Guest next door had tv extremely loud late at night. Sleep as very minimal was ready to get home.

The hotel was great except for one thing. Getting into your room. The key would not work on the first try. It tokk five or six tries to get into my room. Aggravating enough will think twice before staying there. Complained to front desk but they never sent someone to check out our room.

We never noticed it before because it sits back off the road. We arrived after dark and wasn’t sure if we were going the right way because you have to drive around a furniture store to get to the hotel. We shouldn’t have been worried. The place was clean, well-maintained and the staff was friendly. Glad we found this place. We will definitely stay here again.
