Though basically clean, the hotel is suffering from wear and tear and no maintenance. Problem areas have been painted over, items are broken, Light bulbs are missing. The room had coffee but no coffee machine and the machine in the lobby was not working

The room was fairly clean and no bugs but this hotel is hard to get in and out of. There was trash on the ground in the back of building and in the stairways. Someone had dumped spaghetti at the bottom of the stairs. People were partying all night. Lots of people living there. A woman living there started asking me for sunglasses, aspirin, and money. I would not stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. My only issue was the parking surcharge they charged. Nothing was mentioned in the info about that. They added a $20 fee on when checking in. Yes the truck had trailer but it was NOT a semi truck and trailer.

The hotel was nice and the room was clean, shower didn't have a curtain but that didn't bother me. There was a decent IHOP right next door I could walk to for supper but I think some people would benefit with a small staircase from the hotel parking lot to the IHOP parking lot. There was another hotel building right next door that was clearly in the process of being demolished which gave the area around the hotel the feelings of a tough neighborhood. The front desk guy had a problem with Expedia's payment and I had to contact the customer service to get it fixed.

Definitely not a bad hotel for the price. A little dated, but it is an older hotel. Looks like they are doing some renovations. Would stay again.

While doing my normal checks of the room, I found a spot of black mold in the bathroom. There were other issues such as hard to find, smashed up vehicles in the parking, etc but the mold was a major problem. We immediately checked out and am currently waiting for a refund but the hotel won’t return a call or answer when hotels.com calls in regards to my stay.

Not clean, présence of roaches (16), missing items such as working telephone (16) remote control (12), power outlet not working (12), missing bulbs (12). I asked room change from 12 and got put on 16. So 16 better than 12 but smells and they need to improve. Outside is uncleaned, dirty, floor worn, stairs old and cracked.,,

TV had a 3in black streak from top to bottom. Wall by bathroom was dirty, ceiling wasn't completely stuccoed, phone didn't work. Bed baseboard was dirty. Mr. P put me in another room, a roach or bed bed was crawling on the bed.

Check-in was meh. Guy was on the phone the whole time. Front door looked it could easily be kicked in. Crack in window frame. Bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom was a disaster. Soap from previous person was still in the shower. No shower curtain. Ceiling light was hanging from down. Crack in the counter. Drain wasn’t deep enough and water went into the main part of the bathroom and that’s with me showering in the corner and doing everything possible to keep the watch from going everywhere. I had to get the room key re-scanned every night. Not a good stay. “Quality Hotel … only in name. Definitely did NOT on what I was expecting.

The hotel seemed very outdated and all of the doors look like they had been broken into at some point. The first room we were given we had to ask for a different room because of the door. All of the people's were open and paper towel was stuffed into them. The doors look like they didn't fit the doorway. The floors are very uneven as well. The shower curtain was sliding down to the middle as well like something is not even. The bed was okay and the TV was all right

I cancelled my stay at the property after attempting to check in. There was nobody at the reception to check guests in. I waited almost 45 minutes walking around looking for help together with several other checked in guests looking for front desk service and I gave up and cancelled my reservations and booked another nearby hotel for the night.

The people who run the hotel are very nice and friendly. The hotel price is the best you can get for a hotel of its kind. The room inside was in good condition (not perfectly clean, but it was OK). However, breakfast was very poor, the reception area (where the dining area is located) was dirty and did not smell well. In front of the hotel there is an abandoned hotel, which makes the whole area looks dangerous/unsafe. If you travel alone is fine. But, I do not recommend it if you travel with family.

I liked that it was near my work, as per the room it was old and desperately needs renovation the shower heada will spray water backward and they changed my rio. To another one that has the same problem. Also I asked the staff hiw to work their TV he said follow the steps after multiple attempts I called again and he never answered the next day a different staff was nore helpful changed my roo. And showed me how their TV system work, breakfast don't expect much sometimes they have something out sometimes bearly anything. All and all 1 star.

I needed a quick stay to relax and recharge before an event and ,Quality Inn certainly was the spot; clean environment,friendly staff and fresh breakfast was certainly well received. I will be back whenever I am in Gastonia. Great Job!!
