This stay was top notch. We absolutely will be back to this location. Everything about this location was top notch. From the front desk, the room, the housekeeping staff, the pool was nice and clean, it was located near several eateries, the outside was clean, and the check out was late.

WE STAYED HERE ON A WEEKEND GETAWAY , PROPERTY WAS IN GREAT SHAPE VERY CLEAN FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES WERE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY FRIENDLY THE ONE DOWNFALL THE BEDS ARE VERY HARD!!! THE POOL AREA WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN , BUT NO TOWELS WERE PROVIDED IN POOL AREA , ALL IN ALL WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN

Stayed here overnight on our way to Orange Beach for a family vacation. The hotel is clean, quiet, and nicely located close to many dining options. The staff was very welcoming and eager to assist during our stay. The lobby/bistro area is comfortable and spacious. The pool was a nice place to relax and unwind. We’ll stay here again on our way to the beach again.

The parking lot did not wrap around the building causing me issues navigating to a good parking spot with my truck and utility trailer. They had no coffee available downstairs before their assigned breakfast time.

The bar was not open because the bartender didn't show up for work. Room was not cleaned. No drinking water in the room. No cold water in the bathroom sink. Breakfast costed over $30 for two. Mostly microwaved sandwhiches with no taste.

Front desk staff upon check in were OK (very all business). Upon check OUT, very nice! Room cleanliness for the most part nice, stray hair in bathroom from previous occupant. Shower was amazing! Tons of water pressure that would knock you down when you got in like a Hoover Dam spillway! Literally every speck of dust from every nook and cranny washed away! Bar not open due to New Year’s Eve 🙄. Only one person running bistro for breakfast. Felt like they were under staffed.

Bathroom not clean, body wash container in shower empty, front desk did not have access to housekeeping, as everyone was gone by 4pm when I checked in, used shampoo for showering. Front desk also unable to give discount due to me purchasing thru 3rd party expedia. Front desk person was always in the back when I went to desk & had to yell “hello”

A lot of the room was damaged. The cabinets were barely hanging on their hinges and the fridge froze everything solid. The shower head was absolutely disgusting. For some reason when you turn on the bathtub faucet it sounds like a banshee screaming.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was an A+ and it felt safe there but my only complaint was how uncomfortable the bed was. It was extremely firm, almost no give which made for a long night of no sleep! I wish they would do a little better on the beds!

We liked the room because of location but could hear everything upstairs. The beds were not soft for the price but overall, it wasn’t terrible and it was clean. If I had to I’d stay again but will choose another place for softer beds next time.

Bathrooms are dated and the beds were terrible. I have never stayed in a Marriott that the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. Linens in bathroom were rough and dingy . Very dated shower and chipped tub. No safe in room and small fridge did not work. Air conditioner kept flipping breaker and we would have to unplug and reset.

likes: when the thermostat/hvac unit completely shut off and refused to work for the last 24 hours of our stay, i was able to crack a window dislikes: room was giving "something bad happened here" - the latch was broken off like someone kicked in the door&there were giant poorly patched holes in the walls. everything was at least a little broken-cabinets wouldn't stay shut, fridge was not cold, bolt would lock before the door shut fully which caused it to pop back open (discovered as i was climbing out of the shower and realized i could see down the hall and the hall could see me right back). the bathroom would be perfect for Saw XI if they want to take it back to where it all started - sharp, uneven, prison-beige tile with a smelly drain in the center of the room. I was looking for something less expensive and knew there'd be trade offs, but it was still pretty pricey for hattiesburg on a weeknight. even if they had paid me, i wouldn't *love* the dark terrifying vibes/murder bathroom, but the fact that it wasn't even a meaningful savings is just insulting. this would never happen at hotel indigo.

The connecting room guest was horribly sick and coughing to the point of serious concern. We voiced that concern and our cincern for the possibly of no sleep as a result. Manager told us sorry for another $180+ dollars he'd move us into anther room. Completely unaccomadating, it was all about money at that point for them.

No coffee in the lobby, and no free breakfast. I traveled before i retired, and stayed at various Hotels and the always had free breakfast, and always a pot of fresh coffee in the lobby area.

Overall my stay was very nice. The shower was a bit of tight space, I could not get the shower head adjusted, and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles were slightly in the way as well. However, the room was great, the bed was comfortable, and the dinner I had from the bar was very good.
