Don't even know where to start! The worst place I've ever been. We were threatened, we were told to like it or leave it elevator was out of service no TV in the room found needles in the room the management did nothing about it. He threatened my son and cursed us out before we even got to the room which we could not because I have cancer and it was on the third floor with no elevator. Would not refund our money. I ended up sleeping in my car that night.

Checking in. No one at desk. Finally young man came from back engrossed with cell phone. Checks me in then disappears again. I don't see luggage cart. I have to call him again to front to ask where are carts. Again engrossed with cell phone. Disappears in again. I call again to ask if there is hot coffee available. Same thing with the cell phone. Next morning continental breakfast?? Out of coffee at 8:30; no juice. Came back to front 1/2 hour later...still no coffee and mini mini dounuts. room and bed was fine.

Rooms weren’t cleaned and ready at 4:00. We had 2 rooms, one room the tv didn’t work finally a new box was brought in. The phones didn’t work and the elevator was broken. My husband and I are disabled and the rooms we booked we on the second floor, just made it very hard to get luggage up and down, and climbing very slow. My husband finally made it down stairs the next morning to bring me up a cup of coffee and it was stone cold. Had to heat it up in microwave. We survived, but probably won’t book with Red Roof again.

The hotel floors as you walked had holes under the carpet felt like the floor was going to cave in. When we got in the room there was a horrible smell like mold a wet stale air. It was breath taking. The halls were hot has fire no air on in the hall ways. Never will I ever go back to that hotel.

The shower did not work. The shower head was barely hanging on. The water sprayed out of the joint. One of the lights by the bed did not work. There was dog hair all over the comforter. The ice machine did not work.

I will start with the positive comments. 1st it was a pet friendly hotel, and I travel with my fur baby most of the time so A for that. The day shift lady that checked me in (i didnt get name was very friendly) and this where it stops. I get there under renovathowever you don\'t put someone in a room with stains on the sheets the tub was cracked and dingy dirty looking . I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies, lysol, and sheets and mattress covers, etc.. I am aware I didn\'t book a 4 or 5 star hotel but just the basics would suffice. The ice machine had some black mold and some bug in an ice cube..come out of it I had to go buy ice.. Though they have a microwave, mini fridge they don\'t let you take your grab&go breakfast back to your room for example i went to get a cup of coffee and waffle and was reprimanded for wanting to have my coffee and snack in my room.. its not like the room(117) was ever cleaned during my stay when I was told they would every third day. That was a lie. Maybe after the renovation it will be better and they enforce the No smoking policy including the skunk smelling pot that was coming from guest room on the first floor. I would have checked out but it was a holiday weekend everything booked and my credit card had already been charged. I don\'t usually write reviews but this had to be said. I really understand you were "under reno" but don\'t charge your customers full hotel reno prices with hourly motel vibes and looks. I do have the pics

Booked and paid for online. Was told toom wasnt ready ypon arrival at check in time of 3pm. Room was finally ready at 510 pm. There were 6 of us waiting on rooms that handy hadn't been cleaned yet. When i got to room it was ok, old, dated missing cups, coffee & trash bags. Jetted tub had no plug for it, water in all faucets was yellow. What a waste!!

Fridge was broken and unplugged in room. Curtains were broke and hanging down but pull closed enough to block sunlight and privacy. Ice machine was broken. When we arrived to the hotel, there were no luggage carts available. The clerk said they were probably just in use, but none ever showed up. When we arrived at our room, it smelled strongly of marijuana and a chemical smell. The hotel room floor was dirty. The fixtures were loose in the bathroom and the tub looked like it needed replacing. While exiting the lobby later with my young son, we were again blasted with the strong smell of marijuana from other guests entering the lobby. We have stayed at this location previously and were very satisfied during those stays, but definitely not this time. They also had luggage carts during all of our previous stays. The quality of this hotel has steeply declined, which is really sad because we had always enjoyed our stays there. We definitely do not plan to stay there again.

The tolit had urine and stool on the seat and urinte and dirt on the lid. The head of the bed had some type of sticky stuff on it and whenI wiped down the sink and counter it was dirty. The juice machine was broke and they only had a few small dried out donuts. No one was there to check you out so you can get a reciept. DO NOT RECOMEND

The room was dirty and the stairs to go into the second floor were completely dirty. It looks like the hotel hasn’t been clean in years. Also in the room the bathroom had wholes that needed colcking and it look it hadn’t been clean in a while. The staff was nice but the hotel was dirty. Won’t be staying again

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in from the horrible smell of mold and mildew and the roaches and the heat it was so hot and humid in the whole hotel and everything was damp and we had to be moved from our original room because it was flooded and the beds were soaked. The hot water takes forever to get hot and the water pressure doesn't even wash off the soap. They have some very gross and questionable stains on the bathroom door it was so gross. They also had roaches and the hotel is falling apart the paint is peeling off the walls the cabinet is coming unscrewed. And don't get me started on how rude and dismissive the front desk lady was and she didn't even care about these complaints. They also don't have towels or pillows enough for all guest they let stay at the property.

Once I arrived, I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to check me in. I was never given a receipt (didn’t realize until later since I had other things on my mind) so I said no big deal I would get one when I checked out. Well, no one was there when we left, so I couldn’t get it then either. When we got in the room, we had no towels so we had to ask for those. Our tub was absolutely disgusting. The room smelled like wet dog. The floor was fusgusting to walk on, so you had to keep shoes/socks on at all times and the tv kept going in and out all night. There was the one front desk worker who was so friendly, I don’t know her name, but she was African American and she let our pizza guy in even though it was late so we didn’t have to meet him in the lobby. That was the only plus during our stay. But I’ll never stay here again.

Was not the room advertised. Analog TV fuzzy on every channel. Killed three roaches the crawled out from the hallway. The water in the shower will get hot then cold then hot and then cold then hot like every 30 seconds. There were kids running up and down the hallway beating on doors all night. The child will not big enough to wrap around your body. Basically had a bed and an air conditioner.

The hotel was clean and seemed to be updated. The only problem was a squeaky noisy bed. As for breakfast, the waffle mix had already run out by 8am and the juice machine was turned off. All that was left was six or eight small muffins and anout a dozen small doughnuts.

I think they should shut down and start over when things are running properly. Me and my family stayed two nights! The TV’s did not work either night. They couldn’t place us in another room and didn’t offer a discounted stay or anything. Staff is NEVER at the front desk. Like ever! You will have to call the number for everything and wait at least 15 minutes or more. Thankfully it was graduation weekend so we spent a lot of time with family and weren’t there much! Oh and the WIFI terrible couldn’t watch anything on the kids iPads had to use my mobile hotspot!

The bed frame was an aluminum platform that made this annoying noise Everytime you move. Tha air conditioner didn’t function properly so the room never really cooled down. And because of that, I didn’t get any sleep.

We were threatened, we were told to like it or leave it elevator was out of service no TV in the room found needles in the room the management did nothing about it. He threatened my son and cursed us out before we even got to the room which we could not because I have cancer and it was on the third floor with no elevator. Would not refund our money. I ended up sleeping in my car that night.

Checking in. No one at desk. Finally young man came from back engrossed with cell phone. Checks me in then disappears again. I don't see luggage cart. I think they should shut down and start over when things are running properly. Me and my family stayed two nights! The TV’s did not work either night. They couldn’t place us in another room and didn’t offer a discounted stay or anything. Staff is NEVER at the front desk. Like ever! You will have to call the number for everything and wait at least 15 minutes or more. Thankfully it was graduation weekend so we spent a lot of time with family and weren’t there much! Oh and the WIFI terrible couldn’t watch anything on the kids iPads had to use my mobile hotspot!

Once I arrived, I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to check me in. I was never given a receipt (didn’t realize until later since I had other things on my mind) so I said no big deal I would get one when I checked out. Well, no one was there when we left, so I couldn’t get it then either. When we got in the room, we had no towels so we had to ask for those. Our tub was absolutely disgusting. The room smelled like wet dog. The floor was fusgusting to walk on, so you had to keep shoes/socks on at all times and the tv kept going in and out all night. There was the one front desk worker who was so friendly, I don’t know her name, but she was African American and she let our pizza guy in even though it was late so we didn’t have to meet him in the lobby. That was the only plus during our stay. But I’ll never stay here again.

This is a no frills lodging. The room was very clean and served my purpose as a clean and comfortable place to sleep at an affordable price. The beaches and casinos are not a long drive, there is plenty of dinning option near by.

They only had waffles for breakfast and I am gluten intolerant but they were welcoming to our pets and because we’re moving and have to bring our cats and dog it was a good choice. The location was quiet and convenient.

Our room had a funny smell. The bathroom walls had larger spot painting. The toilet paper holder was broke and and rusted. The cleaning lady didn’t speak English. She came in the room to clean although I didn’t have the sign on the door to so. She took towels that I bought from home. When I told the office manager she advised me that I could dig in the dirty clothes basket to find them. My daughter had a competition to get ready for and we had to wait a hour for clean towels because the house keeper took all the towels out our room. Even the towels we didn’t use. When it comes to breakfast they only had waffle maker. Packaged oat meal and grits. Donuts that stayed out overnight. Staff was nice but most definitely a once around stay for me.

The hotel was clean and seemed to be updated. The only problem was a squeaky noisy bed. As for breakfast, the waffle mix had already run out by 8am and the juice machine was turned off. All that was left was six or eight small muffins and anout a dozen small doughnuts.

Only thing that worked in the breakfast area was the waffle maker. Batter was thin. Coffee cold at 7am. No juice or water. Stale open muffins in case. The bed cover sheet was dirty. Only 2 towel sets in room for a double bed room. A terrible bed frame made of roof time. Everytime you bump the bottom of the bed or get in the bed it sound like thunder. The room had a old must odor and the hallway had dents in the floor. Not a good experience at all.

My family and I stayed at this hotel July 11th-13th. The pictures online are misleading. The room looks nothing like the pictures online.The room was outdated, smelled horrible, beds were small/blankets had holes in them and very uncomfortable, curtains dirty and not even hung properly. Not to mention breakfast was a complete waste of time. This hotel should really consider doing updates. I honestly couldn't wait to check out. For our two nights I couldn't wait to wake up just to leave the hotel. I couldn't imagine sitting in my room for a long period of time. Its okay to book budget friendly hotels but this one isn't worth it. Please run from this hotel and look elsewhere.
