ALTHOUGH THE PROPERTY WAS NEWLY REMODELED THE SHOWER DOOR IN ROOM 402 WOULD NOT STAY CLOSED AND THE SHOWER FLOOR WAS SLIPPERY. THERE WAS ONLY ONE ELEVATOR IN A 4 STORY BUILDING. THE TOWELS WERE THICK, THE WATER WAS HOT, AND THE VIEW WAS NICE. WE DIDN'T DO BREAKFAST BECAUSE TOO MANY KIDS WERE IN THERE (SATURDAY MORNING).

Check in was quick person at front desk really didn’t communicate anything expect for breakfast in the morning. I asked about the pool hours and was told it was closed for maintenance. The whole reason we chose this hotel was for the pool. We drove over 3 hours to disappoint our children. The pool never opened it was green and very dirty. Our room was the room size we booked but the door security latch was taped and broken. The shower curtain was thin liner not a curtain and had holes. The air conditioner had a terrible smell and so did the elevator. What was supposed to be a fun family get away ended up be frustrating.

Breakfast was quite good. Elevator sounded like something from a horror movie (and should be serviced soon). The malodorous hallways and elevator were the worst parts of the stay- otherwise, I’d recommend this hotel for a quick stay.

The location was great for shopping dining medical care if needed. The exterior of the property was fine but a sitting area would be an improvement. Ice machine on my floor was not working (4 night stay) entire time. Staff was friendly and professional. Certain items one might need opener, ability to make change for laundry they were not available. The property was somewhat older but very well maintained.

Ease of booking and check in was very nice. The staff was kind and personable. The pool temp was a lot cooler than other hotels we have stayed at. And the pool had debris floating in it. My son couldn't handle swimming in it and got out after maybe 2 minutes of being in it. The room was spacious and clean. But the beds were so hard that we woke up with backaches. This seems to be the type of mattress hotels are going with and I wish they would stop. We are staying at hotels to get rest, but if the beds are uncomfortable, we aren't getting the rest we need and I will never return to a hotel with an uncomfortable bed. The breakfast was really good with plenty of variety. And checkout was super smooth.

This property is beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet. The desk, dining, and housekeeping staff went above and beyond in kindness and thoroughness! Our king suite room was very modern, smelled nice, and was SO CLEAN! Breakfast was filling and very delicious. We plan on staying here again. The only con is the walls and floor aren't sound proof. We could hear our neighbors above and to the side. However, that does not change our opinion on staying again. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Upon arrival…the floors were wet in places all Uber the room. The sofa arm was wet. Not sure what was the deal. They had two partial rolls of toilet paper and we ran out and no back up.

Clean room, friendly staff, and great breakfast included! We stayed at the time of a sporting event so it was packed but the staff did a great job making sure the breakfast stayed filled with items. Despite being in a hotel with hundreds of children, the room was very quiet. Also loved there was a pull out sofa since we had 3 adults everyone had their own space to sleep.

What a pleasant surprise. Not many hotel have microwaves in room anymore. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. The staff was welcoming and the free breakfast was the cherry on the top of a beautiful stay. The layout of the room was thoughtful and the design was clean. Location was a bonus. We will definitely be back to celebrate date night in the future.

Room 216: Remodeled, clean, nice personnel, comfortable bed, NO CLOSET, heating unit VERY noisy, no liner for ice bucket or trash cans. No soap at sink. Had to use shower soap in bathroom. Neither door card would work, got 2 new cards, still didn't work, 3rd time worker opened door with master key, then cards would work part time after several tries. Very annoying for senior citizens to go back & forth to the desk for help while one waited in hall with suitcases. tries. Thank youTyoustillwoekcard

We had a pretty good stay but there are a few things that could have definitely been better. We stayed for 2 days and we anticipated room service coming to empty our trash and make the beds, replenish fhe towels, etc. When we got back that evening they had not been there and the front desk didn’t seem too bothered to help amend that. The pool was also WILD with a large group of unsupervised tweens that took over the pool and literally flooded the lobby. The main reason we switched from one hotel to this one was so our young children could swim. And we were not able to get in each night until 10:30 PM.

The hotel is decent enough, but staff aren't properly trained on how to do their jobs. We had to get out key cards recoded on the 2nd and 3rd days of our stay (and the front desk person failed to ask for identification to confirm the room number - a huge safety risk) and we received proper housekeeping on only 2 of the 5 days during which we stayed there. Overland Park has many similar hotel options - I would avoid choosing this one.

Had to travel to have heart surgery at the hospital near there and decided to stay at this hotel, from the moment we checked in we were greeted with a smile even though the system was down at that moment but the lady ended up getting us checked in without a wait. I ended up checking out before surgery and i had to end up staying a few extra nights due to some complications and i talked to the same lady i had the first night and she was very accommodating to my needs and let me have a first floor room that was easier access for me to walk to. Thank you so much for the great experience and stay, i will definitely be coming back again. I wish i would have gotten her name but hopefully she will be there again next time but truly the whole staff from the cleaning ladies to other team members made it a great stay.

Very clean. Sofa bed did not have any sheets or blankets on it, went to front desk...NO BLANKETS available. Came down later to get an iron, because there was not one in the room. Said one should be in the room; they didn't have any at the desk. Asked if she could grab one from an empty room. She stared at me and said "no". Very frustrating after no blanket then no iron. Booked at a nice hotel for a reason...
