Door front parking. Great

My problem is with accessibility. I have mobility issues and have to use a walker most of the time. There is a small ramp at the front door to the hotel, but getting in can be a chore. The door opens out and requires someone back off the ramp to get in. So a person needs to navigate getting the door open, getting back up the ramp, and getting in, all while pushing a walker. Once inside, it isn't too bad, unless your room is on the second floor. There isn't an elevator and the second floor can only be accessed by a long staircase from the lobby. I was assigned a room on the second floor and when I checked-in, I told them that wouldn't work. No stairs for me. Luckily, there was a room on the main floor that was vacant, so they switched me to that room. The rooms on the main floor have two points of access. From the hallway, or their own door to the parking lot. This is handy, but there are two minor problems with this. The door can't be opened from the outside. You can't get in from the parking lot. Exit only. The second problem is with the sidewalk in front of these doors. It's curbed with no ramping. Not a problem for most people, but for someone with mobility issues, it is. I had booked a room for one night and another room for the return trip a week later. I asked at the desk if the room for the second night could be booked for the main floor. They said they can't do that. If one is available, I would get it. So not a bad hotel, but avoid if you have mobility issues.

Outside door had stuff wedged in it seems people have been trying to get in. Still safe had a dead stop and security lock

For the money you get pretty decent room, clean washroom, friendly staff, EV charger and pet friendly.

Plenty of parking,just the essentials,which was fine.

Spent night here on a motorcycle trip. Able to park bike outside of room however cannot use key to open door from outside. Must enter through hotel; can exit through door. Check in took a long time. I was 3rd in line. No sitting area/lobby to wait. Customer in front of me had knee problems and had to hold on to wall as no where to sit while waiting a while. Room was tidy and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Older style. Switch to turn on/off but do not think you can choose temp. No coffee or microwave in room unless you upgrade to kitchenette room. Fridge yes. Coffee and tea by front desk in morning. Microwave in front desk area as well. Overall the check in area is not very welcoming and I was nervous to see the room; the room worked great for our needs and price was great as well

This property does not have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean

Loved being able to park right outside our room. Made unloading and loading easier for our cross canada trip

There were no microwave, coffee maker, hotwater pot in the room, customers have to go to downstairs to get what they need and there is no elevator in the property.

The room had black mold on the bathroom ceiling in shower and the air conditioning unit also had black mold. So could not run AC. Took photos and told front desk.

Room was spotless and the king size bed very comfortable. Front desk staff were very courteous and professional.

The room looked neat but it was dirty. Floorwas filthy. Toilet seat almost fell off. Reinstalled it. Phone didn’t work. Didn’t try internet. I wil not stay at a Motel 6 again. Manager said he would deal with these problems. In short the whole place needed a cleanup. Linens clean.

Has new looking lights and mirror. Floor is very dirty. Baseboards and corners have a build up of stuck dirt, not just dust. I dampened some toilet paper and wiped the floor. It is very dirty. Thankfully the beds seemed clean. Will not be staying here again.

Bottom of toilet was dirty with urine and hair. Had to wait till morning for maid and she said what am I suppose to do? We are like clean it. She only cleaned one side. Oil stain on headboard. Boogers on the bathroom vanity wall. Room base boards were falling off the wall. Kids screaming up and down the hall till 11:30 and up again running and scream. Forget sleeping in. Beds hurt, our backs never hurt so bad. We will never be back! Only positive use good shower pressure.

Room spotlessly clean!

Staff were very friendly but unfortunately I woke up the next day with my arms and face full of bed bug bites. A week later and the bites are still clearing up. Also found hair in my sheets.

Walked in my room and there was hairs and what loooked like dirt under the cover. Went and changed rooms bed was a bit cleaner but 1/2 the towels in the bathroom had hairs or stains. Used the ones that mostly were cleaner since I was tired from driving all day and just wanted to relax. Won’t be going back after that. I was more than eager to leave in the morning.

Nice room for the night. The motel looks a little worn on the outside but the rooms was updated and comfy.

Staff were very helpful. Although the hallways look a bit dated the rooms are recently renovated. The rooms are quite large and there is ample parking around the hotel. Highly recommend to stay here.

The room was in good condition and the staff was nice. The bathroom was extremely small so you could barely fit one person in there. The bed was super comfortable. There is no elevator to the second floor and they had nothing available on the bottom floor so we had to carry our suitcase and belongings up the stairs and the stairs were hard on my daughter who is disabled.

The room was very clean. Also very quiet, we didn’t hear other guests or the traffic.

I'm conflicted. But I feel the cons outway the pros. Definitely will not choose this property again in the future Pros: The rooms have been updated and for the most part were clean. Cons: Waited 10 minutes at check-in for someone to show up at front desk, we had to track down a maintenance person who seemed to care less, but ultimately got someone to come down. You only get 2 pillows per bed. I asked if we could get an extra one and was told "we are all sold out for the night." Really?? When our neighbour's were smoking weed outside, it came right into our room through the AC and the 1/2inch gap all around the door. We asked to move rooms, but apparantly they were fully booked. No coffee maker or microwave in rooms. Just one communal one in the lobby. TV had only 3 channels to choose from. Due to it being a long weekend prices were probably close to double what they would normally be and in my opinion way too high for what you get.

First off I booked two rooms on Expedia and forgot to request ground floor accommodation. Called the hotel a day before arrival and requested ground floor rooms, the clerk on duty at that time, was very polite and asked what our estimated arrival time would be, I said between 2-3pm. He said that would be okay as long as we were there before 6 pm. Upon arrival we went into see if we could check in it was about 2:30pm, the manager said check in time was 3:00pm, which was fine. I wanted to confirm about the ground floor rooms, manager said it was a request not a confirmation! He also said the rooms were booked through Expedia ,that seemed to irk him somewhat. Asked us to return at 3pm. There was only 2 cars on the property, mine and I assumed the other car was his. We returned at 3pm ,another couple were checking in and we saw that they were going to the upper floor. There was another clerk with the manager at this time. I asked again about checking in to ground floor rooms, we were told he didn’t know if the rooms were cleaned, and we would have to wait.He said he would call me when they were ready for us. After about 20 minutes the manager had left , we got a phone call ,the rooms were ready. The clerk on duty was the person I had talked with on the phone the previous day and he said that he had confirmed the ground floor rooms. This clerk was very accommodating and polite. Would not stay there ever again because of the manager!!

I tried to call the hotel (14) times that day to confirm something about the reservation and there was no answer on any attempt. AA of Wednesday Sept 23rd, my $100.00 room deposit has not been returned to my credit card. Staff was friendly on arrival, rooms were clean.

The check in and checkout were seamless. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

We pulled in after 10 hrs of driving and were tired. There was a sign at the front desk that stated they will be right back. We waited a 1/2 hr before checking in. Not impressed...

Bare bones motel. Doors can’t be accessed from outside due to old locks, no service unless asked then minimal at best. Coffee in lobby during very restricted hours and motel is under staffed. Often no one at front desk.

Customer service was so poor and they didn’t refund my money for the deposit

Room was really nice, clean and comfortable but the interior of the hotel is a bit dated and rundown. (May have been undergoing unannounced repairs) Parking lot is dead until about 10pm and then it becomes the loudest busiest place in Sault Ste Marie

Upgraded, spacious, clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly and efficient. Located close to Tims and McDonalds. Free poo bags and large, grassy front lawn for pets. Free wifi. Free coffee in the morning. Free parking. Great value even if the exterior is a bit dated.

Great stop right on the transcanada highway.

The room was clean and spacious with plenty of towels in the bathroom. With a little fiddling of the TV remote to the proper input, it worked fine. Staff was helpful in assisting me. The room only had a small undercounter fridge, no kitchen. The heating/a/c unit worked perfectly. It ran quietly when on. Despite the fact that the room is on the 1st floor facing a busy road, the room was relatively quiet. A $100 security deposit is required upon check-in which, according to the day desk clerk is refunded within a few days after checkout. If using the Ontario Northland bus to travel to Sault Ste Marie, this motel next door to the Northern Ontario Bus Soo Terminal.

Clean, quiet, good service, good price and everything we needed as a family of four, passing through. Continental breakfast is always nice when travelling with kids. McDonald's and Timmie's is right next door.

Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Motel is good for overnight stay. Downside is that there is no breakfast included and available coffee service is not that good. However, it is a good balance between price and comfort.

Newly renovated with clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. A great, affordable restaurant right next door (Sandra’s with an outstanding homemade lasagna wit their fresh pasta and traditional house made sauce…I’m a chef and i thought that it was great value!) Would only recommend that the management put coffee makers in the room. We highly recommend it!

Quite older building, ni amenities. Ex. No Chips or confectionery machines. Coffee only in early morning hrs. No continental breakfast For the price I'd rather have those items there

Easy access, friendly staff. Clean, updated rooms... perfect for my short stay after driving all day. Convenient restaurant beside was a bonus.
