Many guests find rooms and grounds very clean, but recurring reports note musty odors, dirty floors or old carpets, and occasional pests. Housekeeping presence is regular, though consistency varies.

Rooms and suites are spacious and comfortable, often with balconies or pool/water views. Some are dated with weak water pressure or noisy AC, thin walls or street noise, and isolated quirks like floor vibration near laundry.

Staff are widely described as friendly, welcoming and helpful, with smooth check-ins and occasional upgrades. Some guests experienced slow or unhelpful responses, key or maintenance issues, and inconsistent front-desk attitudes.

Set on a busy road a short drive or Uber from Duval Street, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby and easy parking. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, and the area isn't very walkable for nightlife.

Breakfast and the poolside tiki bar get positive notes, but breakfast is often not included and can be pricey. Dining is limited to mornings or early afternoon, with no on-site dinner and the bar closing early.
