Four Points by Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

The Elevator was super slow which made it always full. Everyone complained about it. Pool was not heated although it has a heater system. Homeless person was sleeping on the North bench in next to front row parking. Lobby manager declined to give me a continental simple breakfast and coffee even though I stayed there for 3 nights and only needed a little something to get me going the last morning on my way to the airport. So I had to pay $15 for toast, yogurt and coffee.

Serving staff were excellent. The menu is a bit limited.

Waited over an hour to get picked up from the airport. The best employee was Camila who was so customer focused to make sure our breakfast was good.

Horrible experience with airport shuttle. When calling given conflicting directions and wound up walking back and forth between terminals. After 11/2 hours gave up and took a cab. Long wait to check in

We had a room in on the road side of the building and there was ALOT of road noise all night long. Building was not very sound proof inside either- could hear doors shutting from the rooms. Pool was amazing! Comfortable and quaint, and staff was friendly. A lot of things were within walking distance from the hotel, which was a huge plus!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Amenities were fantastic. Enjoyed the pool area. Bar/ restaurant staff provided awesome service

Checkin was 3PM. I reminded the staff - twice - that my room wasn't yet ready and they had forgotten - each time - that I hadn't been able to check in until - finally 4PM. And the real problem was that each time, their demeanor told me that I was just "a problem" to them. Also made a point to tell me that I wasn't getting any Marriott points - because I'd booked thru Expedia as opposed to direct. Another issue: there are only 2 elevators in a 7-story hotel - and one of them is constantly in use as the service elevator. So waits are long. On the up-side, once I got to my suite, it was clean, good condition, comfortable, and excellent. Parking is also free and easy.

The room was not at all what I expected for the price. I expected a lot more and the restaurant inside we ordered two hamburgers, and it took over an hour for them to come to us and then we asked for the receipt at the same time they were good, but it was way too understaffed on there people working there.

Transportation from Airport is basically non existent unless you ride share. So called “shuttle” never showed up after waiting 2 hours. Called hotel…. Rude customer service and after calling 3x’s, gave up and took a Lyft. Once arrived at the hotel, the price on Expedia was way over charged for something that was no better than a motel!! We paid way too much and calling Marriot was no help because we used Expedia to book the trip so there is nothing Marriot can do and in regards to the shuttle service, Marriot said we would have to talk to the manager on site. Which we were told would be in Monday but we are only in town for a cruise that left Sunday, so…. What do you do. I’ll call Expedia to see if the service is better but as of right now, I will never book a hotel off Expedia again unless I verify the hotel is actually worth the price.

Arrived and told our room was ready and given our key. When we went up to our room, it was not ready. The attendant was upset that we were even up there so we went down to the lobby for another hour before the room was ready. no one let us know our room was ready. My husband went up and checked twice. Finally, there was no one in the room so he assumed we could Then go into our room. The elevator is very, very slow. The noise on the street at night is not the hotel’s fault but I guess the police cannot do anything about the loud vehicles that race up and down the street, making it hard to fall asleep

I had roaches in my room. Different areas of the hotel smelled like pee.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. Room could have been cleaner upon arrival, specifically the bathroom. But room service cleaned well during our stay. Hotel is on busy street so if easily disturbed at night, may not be a good fit, but noise is not obsessive.

Room was clean and spacious. The 4* was due to little things: the tv remote did not work, the blackout drapes were difficult to close. Generally a nice room and friendly staff.

Early check in was appreciated, stayed in king with sofa bed for child, 2 requests for sheets, when we unfolded we discovered dirt& bloody towels hidden under mattress cover, then we discovered the mattress was horribly stained areas could also have been blood. No other rooms available.house keeping called there was nothing they could do. I will never return and may never stay at this chain again.BTY This year I have stayed in hotels over 60 days so not my first rodeo!

Very noisy from the street and cockroaches in the bathroom.

The floors, and bathroom was dirty. My husband woke up to bugs on his phone and him. Walked with socks on the floor and they were black.

There has been a fire so smelled of smoke. Carpet in room was sticky

This property was a little rough around the edges. It used to be a comfort inn or something along those lines before undergoing a refresh. It is fine for an economy style hotel. Was clean and easily accessible from interstate. Offers breakfast, but has local options within walking distance.

Staff were excellent. TVs need to be upgraded. Complementary breakfast would have been a nice touch.

Convenient location, plenty of food within a walkable distance. About ten minutes from both air and sea ports. Room was fine for one night before our cruise. Humid inside but it's Florida so that's expected. Walls and floors were thin, again fine for one night but you can hear everything.

Overall good how ever the last night a/c stopped cooling and we had to change to my other family room because they did not have any availability

Employees great !!! My check in process was seamless and enjoyable thank you ! Property is an older building with the Marriott semi face lift….. need new windows badly highway noise is heavy. Area is great lots near by… I would stay again bring ear plugs

building was pretty run down. the room was clean but didnt look like the photos. it probably did when they were taken but definitely not current.

Get a room over the parking lot and not the front Street, the windows are not sound proof at all.

Rooms are small, tired furnishings, bed was uncomfortable, room overlooked nasty parking lot

Our stay was nice. We just stayed for the night so we could catch our cruise the next morning. I will say hotel shuttle to the cruise port was double. If not triple what it cost us to get an Uber/ Lyft but that's okay. We canceled the hotel shuttle and got a lift and didn't have to wait in the long lines and the the lobby. But the beds were comfortable. Bathroom sink was falling apart. Didn't affect me any but they might want to address that. It was literally falling out of the wall. Staff was very nice and prompt when we asked for extra pillows. I would stay here again for our next cruise .

A/C compressor kept me up all night. Room was not worth the price.

GREAT HOTEL AND SUPERB STAFF

Easy to get to from airport, easy to get to the cruise port from here. Pleasant dining bar area. Check-in clerk and the waiter at the lounge very friendly and helpful. Very good as a place on the way to a cruise if you're traveling from the West Coast, as wee were. Comfortable room.

Terrible stay. Didnt tell us (but others checking in at same time) that they overbooked. 6 months ago I booked the "king guaranteed room" and paid $750 for it. However the room was nonrefundable so they took my money and gave me a queen without telling me, then said "we are overbooked so you have to keep that room". It had hairs in the tub, was outdated, elevator was slowest I have ever experienced, housekeeping didnt come, room for 4 people with 2 towels, was told housekeeper was to have come and it was almost 6p and skipped ours so would send them. No apology and they ended up not coming to our room so had no replacements. Pool had stuff in it too, hadnt been cleaned. Place is outdated and tired. Staff was awful and rude and worst customer service ever. Did laundry and realized it only took quarters. No change machine anywhere so asked to swap bills for quarters and lady didnt look, said she had 0 and bar didnt either so dont go ask. Said I could walk to cvs at 9p with my two young daughters in homeless central to get quarters. Ridiculous. Unprofessional and Ridiculous, whole experience was awful and for $750 they deserve to refund me. Crap!!! Do not recommend!!!!

Have stayed here many times before and after the renovations. It is a few minutes to the cruise port and almost as close to the airport. CVS next-door and Whole foods across the street. Nate was on duty this time and last time and is a wonderful employee. He was very helpful and always cheerful. He is a great asset to the chain.

Had a reservation and when we walked in after waiting for the shuttle for awhile in the rain. First thing they say is they can’t check us in due to a maintenance issue. Said it would be an hour or so. This is at 9 pm. So we went to the bar area to wait. Then they come over and finally ask what name the reservation is under. Then they leave again. He comes back and tells me the reservation was cancelled due to a problem with the card on file. No calls, emails or anything. They did not let Expedia know and when I contacted Expedia they stated it was still an active reservation. Four Points had given away our room and had nothing else available. 10 at night we had to get another hotel. They did let us use there shuttle service to get there. Shuttle driver and new hotel both said it was some kind of screw up at 4 points and they lied to us.

Staff was exceptional and let me know over phone how to request an early check-in after my cruise. Gave us a free upgrade and was overall very attentive and nice. Location was very noisy but not the hotels fault.

Check in was 4 hours late over all good service just the late check in and only a minimal communication

Great value and location for pre cruise

No complaints! Pleasant staff and convenient location.

Perfect location especially for a short stay with a Whole Foods, CVS and several nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Shuttle service was prompt efficient and all staff shuttle drivers and check-in were all delightful. Happy to visit again and recommend!

Proximity to the airport, port and beaches

Very close to airport and cruise terminal port. Our flight was delayed so we thankfully got a shuttle ride from the other shuttle going to a different location but the driver understood and took us to the right hotel. As we were checking in around 11pm majority of the staff was preoccupied with going home we didn’t feel very welcomed or of any importance so we dropped our luggage off in our room and walked to find dinner. The room was a bit outdated but served its purpose to sleep 6 of us comfortably. The next day we checked out and it was cheaper to use an Uber/Lyft than to use their shuttle to get to our cruise port. Be careful if venturing off property. Lots of homeless and people on drug’s loitering around the area.

Check-in was fine and they even allowed early. The room stunk of something from the A/C unit. The window didn\'t close all the way so traffic noise was loud. The sink drain plug was broken. No noticeable Covid protocols were in place - e.g. no tv remote cover. Compared to Hyatt House, it was a "0". We should have stayed there again.

Really liked its proximity to the beach,airport and cruise port. Also liked walkable places to grab a bit or shop.

The hotel location is good to local grocery store, whole foods, taco bell, burger king. Also, it is possible to walk to Port Everglades cruise terminal, even for our family including 7 years old kids. So, we can save the money before/after cruise.

Good location for Cruise port Restaurants close by and a drug store. Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful.

My stay at Four Point was wonderful. The staff was amazing and very helpful. We got there after 9 it wasn't a problem. My husband and I went to the bar to get something to eat the food was great. I would stay there again.

We didn’t like that you had to pay for breakfast at the hotel. That wasn’t convenient for us. We left and went somewhere else that was cheaper.

Ok hotel for an overnight stay. We stayed for 3 nights for a work conference in the area. The front desk was very nice and helpful upon check in. The rooms on the road side are definitely noisy with road noise. It’s a main road and cars like to show off and rev engines. I was on the top floor road side and moved to a 2nd floor parking lot room and it was much better. The AC in the first room wouldn’t turn off and it was freezing and the AC in the second room wouldn’t keep up. The breakfast is overpriced at around $16 or $18, they had condiments missing, etc. Just too expensive for what it is. The elevators are slow and the stairs were not convenient. The bartender at the small bar was not very attentive. We left one time because he didn’t come over to us after 10 minutes sitting there. Overall it’s ok for a night but there are too many better options in the area. Average hotel at best.
