We were disappointed pool was shut down January 1 - 15, 2024. Elevator was slow. Second elevator was being renovated and it's going to take 5 months according to workman working inside elevator. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice. Good morning breakfast. Fantastic front desk folks. Easy to get shuttle to seaport and/or airport.

When making the reservation, was trying to get close to the port for a cruise.. Duh, not realizing since they were close they had shuttles to the port. That was a nice bonus! The place was very convenient to shopping and different restaurants. The down side was the pool was closed for repairs and the one out of two elevators was broken.

I am super frustrated with this stay. They were in a HUGE renovation! To where the front desk was a banquet table , walls and cables were exposed and cardboard /paper covered the floors. There were signs everywhere that the pool wasn’t available which I would not have booked here if I would have known it would be closed and it was going to be such a big renovation. The lights didn’t fully work, the sink cabinet literally fell off while we were sitting on the beds. There was drilling so loud in early morning that it was shaking the room and the lights flickered! I literally recorded it! The room numbers on the walls were falling off. We couldn’t call the front desk so when I went to the front desk/table , they just said sorry it’s a renovation and pretty much just offered free parking as a joke of compensation. If we were planning to stay longer than one night then we would have changed hotels. It was awful! I will not stay here again

We arrived and found that the hotel is being renovated. There was no notification ahead of time for this. The noise was not an issue since they stopped working the construction at 6pm. The problem is, there's 2 elevators and one was reserved/blocked only for construction crew. On check out day, we were trying to get downstairs to catch our prebooked Uber to the cruise port and after waiting more than 10 minutes for an elevator since every time it stopped on our floor, it was full, we ended up having to drag 3 large pieces of luggage down the stairs. This was very disappointing. I am a travel advisor and would have loved being able to recommend this hotel to my clients based on location and proximity to the cruise port, but unfortunately, due to the elevator issue, I can't in good conscience do that. The room was fairly clean but the shower pressure was terrible. It was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable.

Very crowded check in. Good location, close to shopping. Very crowded breakfast, almost not worth the bother. Price was way too high for this hotel— there was nothing special here. They didn’t even have a complimentary airport shuttle. Keep looking!!

Our room was very worn, including carpet and the bathroom. Felt need to wear shoes in the shower. When we opened the soda bed, it had dirty, stained sheets on it. Front desk states there was no one available to put on fresh sheets until I got very pushy and then magically someone could help us. Lobby was not clean during breakfast, everything sticky and covered in food pieces and dirty dishes, long after families would finish at a table. Also saw nothing about the renovation when booking.

We went here pre our cruise, the staff is very friendly. The hotel was under renovation but was ok..however cleanness was not the best..the bathroom was dirty more so the shower..if we were to be there for a longer period, we would have requested a change in room. As we were there for a few hours post our cruise and really only used the toilet and sink. Breakfast was good, shuttle was $8 per person and the staff for shuttle was also very nice.

We were only here for 1 night before a cruise. I guess it’s fine for just the night. But the pictures didn’t match the room. The couch in our room had dirty stains over the entire thing. Had a weird smell to it. Seemed just very dingy and dirty. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were only staying a night I would have left and gone somewhere else.

I checked into my room after midnight as my plane was late to find the bed clearly slept in sheets pulled back , wrinkled and all over the place bathroom floor and vanity dirty …reported it to the front desk and was told since I booked through a “3rd party “ there was nothing she could do and they didn’t have house keeping and it was the only room available? She did say I could go stay at another hotel ….as it was now 1:00am in the morning she did kindly give me some clean sheets so I could change the bed. That was all she could offer. So I took my sheets back to my dusty dirty room and changed the sheets and cleaned the best I could as apparently there were no cleaning supplies available.

Our stays in the past were excellent but this time they were under construction and after flying for 10hrsi just wanted to have a drink, eat and go to my room to relax, but the bar and restaurant were closed due to the construction so i had to walk a couple of blocks to get something to eat. I feel they should've let me know about the remodel before i arrived. When we got to our room i needed to use the desk but there was no chair so called down and was told they ordered new ones but hadn't arrived yet. We went to bed early and there was banging noise from construction and our room was next to the elevator and could hear a humming noise from it all night.

Room was good until we had no hot water for shower. Room used for breakfast was very crowded and seemed dusty due to construction. We should have been alerted about construction. Due to construction dust, we started our 12 day cruise with a construction alergy type nasel problem.

The hotel is in the early stages of what I was told would be a complete overhaul. Even though I was only there for one night, that would’ve been helpful to know prior to check-in. Rooms are very dated and because of that don’t feel super clean, although nothing was truly dirty, just old. The bed was ok. The shower was honestly painful. High pressure is fine but there was only one showerhead setting and that seemed to be “nails shooting into my body.” I’ve never wanted a shower to end so quickly in my life. I hope those get changed in the upgrade. The service at both check-in and check-out was wonderful and there was a security guard out front at night, which made me feel safe when checking in alone later in the evening.

Staff is great. The hotel needs to place a microwave in the rooms. It is a huge inconvenience having go to the lobby to use the microwave. The rooms are quite dusty do to the old carpet and possibly needs a filter changed. I won't stay here again

Very outdated room- the television emits a ton of heat making the room hot and the dirty air conditioner can’t keep up with it. Nice size for our family of 5, the shower room with toilet is very crammed and dark with only one light outside the shower. Can’t close the door unless you’re in the shower or standing between the toilet and wall. Breakfast was ok. It was a nice drive to the cruise port- our purpose of staying. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I booked this property last minute and upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk by a staff member who informed me about ongoing construction that would cause noise until 6 PM. The elevators were dusty from the construction, and only one was available for guests. Within five minutes of arriving in my room, the fire alarm went off twice. When I went downstairs to check on the situation, the front desk staff member reacted indifferently, saying, "Yeah, so?" I decided to leave after being there for about 10 minutes.

There is a construction going on. When we asked one of the staff when the construction will finish because of the noise affecting us sleeping. Instead of explaining, she responded “if you are not happy, you can find another accommodation”. Throughout the two nights of our stay, we did not even see a smile on any of the staff. Super Rude. Will not stay here again. Will NOT recommend anyone.

For the price I paid I expected a real Lobby and a separate eating area for breakfast. People are eating around the small check in counter and the bar. No where to sit. Called for shuttle. Said only one and he will be there in 10 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes and two more calls for the shuttle. We gave up and took a cab that got us there in10 minutes. The shuttle van was at the hotel when we arrive so we waited for nothing. He never left the hotel to pick us up. I will never stay there again

The staff was very accommodating! We arrived way early and Rose stored our luggage for us until our room was available. As soon as it was available, she texted us and we were able to move in. We only stayed one night, but the staff was excellent throughout our stay! We will stay again!

They might have been short staffed, because a lot of amenities weren't available. The restaurant closed early, the bar was out of liquor, and transportation to the port was 40 minutes late before I gave up and got a Lyft.

The cleaning of the rooms could have been better. You could see the dust in the corners of the room. Hair was on the toilet when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was great. We never got to get breakfast downstairs because there was a massive amount of people all the time in the lobby.

My family booked two rooms for an overnight trip while waiting to go on a cruise. Only to be met with a hotel under construction that we were not notified about. Upon checking you could not hear the staff talking over all the loud noise from construction. The main lobby was nonexistent due to the tear up and construction workers. There was dust everywhere. We checked in went to our room where the noise was extremely loud until at least 6pm. There was one elevator working for the whole hotel, plastic lined the hallway floors. And after traveling all day we were unable to get any rest due to the noise. The next morning they had a complementary breakfast that was held in a boardroom with food on hot plates and not toaster available for bread/bagels that were provided. To say our family was disappointed would be an understatement. I feel that we should have been contacted regarding the state of the hotel so we could arrange another hotel. Instead we paid the original price for a poor stay and poor conditions.
