The main issue with the property was the elevators being out of service with no projected repair date. Then, they also didn't have staff to offer to assist with your bags up and down the flights of stairs.

I really LIKE that there was no pool! I really hate paying an extra resort fee for a pool that I will never use! THANK YOU!!!! I was down for a business meeting, and the room was perfect in every way - kitchenette and clean, plus NO EXTRA FEES FOR RESORT NONSENSE!

When we arrived the room I booked was unavailable, we were placed in a room that did not meet our sleeping arrangement and one person from our party had to sleep on the couch. The room was extremely muggy and humid. It took almost and hour to cool down. When we showered the water drained VERY SLOWLY, so by the end of the shower we were standing in dirty water. The weight room was decent, although hot. The did offer free laundry which was nice .

Decor wise the hotel is nice and clean (I’m conflict with the clean part but I’ll explain.) The rooms are good size and it’s very quiet. That being said…there were roaches in my room which made the clean looking room seem dirty to me and the bathroom sink was a little clogged so the water drained out slowly. It’s such a nice property to have roaches and drainage problems because it looks fairly new

The property looks better on line than it does when you get here. Smells like wet dog in the hallways, elevator and even worse in room. Found bug in bathroom, spots on floor that they missed with vacuum and noisy rooms next to me people constantly slamming doors. Property interior a little dated. AC sounds like a helicopter in the areas and sticky bathroom floor.

I can’t say much bad. Our flight got canceled and in a pinch they were able to get us a nice room to suit our needs until our flight the next morning. However, the room had a terrible smell that I’m not sure where it came from because the place was otherwise pristine. I can only guess maybe the carpet? But get room 304 checked pronto.

Quick and easy check in. I had two rooms for one night on this particular stay. One room was great and everything worked as it should. Other room the AC was broken and would not get below 73 so the room felt a bit stuffy. Normally 73 would be OK, but after a long day at a hot beach, you want the room as cool as you can get it. Other than that, everything was fine. Everything in the room worked OK there was no hot water at the kitchen sink which was strange, but there was hot water in the bathroom so that was fine to wash your hands or have a shower, which is all that really matters. We were able to walk over to the five below store for some snacks and drinks. The food in beverage selection inside the hotel, while convenient, is extremely overpriced and that walking trip to five below was well worth it. All in all, it was a decent hotel for the price and nice convenient location to the airport. I would stay here again if you don't mind being a medium drive from the beach or you want to be close to the airport.

Stay here at this venue 2 times a month for work. Always a great stay. Staff is great, they remember you time and time again. Some even remember your needs if you have any. Mark at the desk is great and always helpful.

The front desk woman refused to honor our paid reservation for no apparent reason, and the hotel refused a refund! Front desk woman seemed untrained and unsophisticated, to say the least, and rude. She said she couldn’t see our reservation and gave us a hard time, had my wife call hotels.com and spend over 30minutes trying to give her various confirmation numbers. All the while she HAD our reservation and was staring straight at it. Only that my wife gave her ID and it was under my name, but SAME last name! And we were both standing right in front of her! The hotel refused a refund and refused our stay there on a paid reservation! They also refused to cancel our second night reservation when the front desk told us in person that she cancelled it. And they refused to refund for the second night as well. We ended up staying and paying for another hotel for the same two nights. The entire thing is so twisted, it is hard to wrap our heads as to how or why this has happened.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. The housekeeper Tiara was phenomenal. Kind friendly and helpful! The front desk got us checked in, in the morning after a long flight. I’ll definitely be booking there in the future!

when I booked the room I asked for an upper floor away from the elevator so that it would be quiet, i got the closest room to the lobby on the 1st floor next to the elevator!!! i was told sorry!

My husband had an adult cockroach crawl across his face while sleeping. He took the cockroach in a napkin downstairs to the front desk and they said they would issue a $50 refund. At check out this morning, my husband followed up with the new rep at the front desk regarding the refund and she advised we had to go through Expedia since that how we booked.

I like to stay at Candlewood Suites because it is so close to off-site parking for the airport. It is safe, clean, and very quiet. It is across the street from a grocery store and restaurants.

What no one tells you is adjacent to the vacant property that separates you is Lounge 8IV. The BASS was bumping continuously from 7 PM until 3 AM on Good Friday. Otherwise the room was dated but comfortable. Bathroom could have used refinishing, rusty tub and standing water.

I like this place. The room is a bit sterile with not much character, but it is quiet and comfortable. In addition, they pick you up at the airport. People that work the front desk are very nice. A choice of places to eat across the busy street as well as a supermarket. WE UBER to the port, maybe 10 minutes away. A very convenient place to stay when on a cruise

Great location. Room was spacious. We booked to catch a cruise the next day. Hotel offers a shuttle but they’re only a short distance to the port and ride share was much cheaper. Plenty of shops across the highway, including a Winn-Dixie. Some restaurants also nearby.

Property felt old and broken down. Coffee maker in the room did not work; when i asked for new one they told me there was no one to bring me one that i had to come down and get coffee in the lobby. Hot water in shower was at best not cold. When i asked to fix they told me they would but never came. All in all i give this property a 2. Of course for the price i didnt expect a 5-star hotel but the basics when traveling for business would be nice. Will not return.

It was nice. Had a shuttle to airport for a fee and could pre pay for them to bring you back to hotel when you return. We drove and you could pay 10.00 a day to leave your car at hotel. Our vehicle was a van so didn’t know it the cruise parking had van parking. Only problem was no breakfast but they sold items you could eat for breakfast.

They had airport shuttle to pick us up, very fast service. No restaurant on site, had to cross very busy highway, but there were a lot of choices. Older inside, looks like they updated a few things in the room. Tub/ shower combo, tub was slick, my spouse fell in shower. They need to have anti slip mats.

Property seems clean enough although there was trash in the garbage still from a previous desk. I also asked for more towels and never got them. The customer service person at front desk was less than friendly. Just very “matter of fact”, barely even looked up at me when speaking. Place was fine for the cheap price for the night. No pool, no dining. Had to walk across the highway to get food. But the food was great.

I was on a one night stay before my cruise. The room was clean but a notch down regarding condition. The carpet and upholstered chair were worn and felt dirty. Could use new towels which were somewhat thin and worn. The room had a kitchen but the counter was dirty. For the price of the room, I expected a bit better. Overall, I liked the fact that they had a 24 hour shuttle since I arrived at 1a. They also offered a cruise port shuttle for $15pp. I liked that they had a little store offering frozen food to heat up in your kitchen. They also had kitchen appliances to borrow if you were sticking around to cook for yourself.

The airport shuttle was a bonus! The afternoon front desk clerk was friendly, professional and gave a recommendation for a German restaurant within walking distance since we didn't have a vehicle. It was PHENOMENAL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The coffee, not so great....but overall great stay. Would come back!
