Nice hotel great location however they did not advise at check in they don’t have housekeeping. The next day after the beach we came back to our room after a long hot day and it was not clean no towels nothing. I called the front desk they advised housekeeping only comes every other day. Then we waited 45 min for towels while my family sat wet dirty and cold in the room. When my daughter went to the front desk to just pick them up, she was told no because housekeeping was bringing them and we waited another 20 min for them. We asked for 4 towels and wash clothes since it was 4 of us and only got 3. Also the breakfast is horrible. We are the first day and after that we didn’t even go down for breakfast. The pool was nice but never any clean towels. I went to the front desk to ask for pool towels the first day, the next same thing. The day after that I didn’t even bother to ask again. This is off season so it wasn’t even that busy. We come to Destin several times a year, I was very surprised that this Marriott had these issues. I don’t think I would stay here again. Hotel room and grounds are good and clean, but just a few things we didn’t like.

Fire alarm sounded at 4 am , no staff people said anything about what was happening and i had to get my kid and wife out and still just saw the guy from front desk just pointing to firefighters and not having a clue of what was happening….. did not slept well after that and did not know what was happening i think they should have staff people on cameras so they can see what is happening…. We have been using this hotel since 2018 and it got so expensive and for a poor stayed like this that was our last time staying on this hotel….it was great back then.

A great place to stay for a great price the king suite is perfect for a couples get away we had a full fridge dish washer and laundry access. The pool was very clean breakfast was always hot. I have no complaints with this place at all

We had to get other accommodations because of the unsafe conditions. Spa closed with tarp and cement bags. Construction work on sidewalks without prior disclosure only a 24 hour notice. Someone tried to open our door then an hour later someone was at the window. Spoke to management to request a refund for the days we did not stay and they refused. Onsite staff very rude and stand offish…never stay here!!

Waived the usual pet fee because of hurricane Helene. Let me check in with my dog at 10:30 am. Desk staff was very helpful and the hotel is in an area with many dining options. Will definitely stay there again.

Three fire alarms set off one at night , two in morning . Dog poop or human poop beside poolside going into pool out of pool . Caked .. misleading thought it was in sandestin resort , you CANNOT USE THE SANDESTIN BEACH ! Pictures show trees , Forrest behind hotel , it is a MAJOR ROAD ! They took out the road it is not secluded as shown in pictures. Beside a major loud busy street! Bed definitely needed a new matress! You sink into the matress it’s so old . Housecleaning Excellent! Clean room .

This hotel was fabulous! We made our reservation for 4 nights and added 3 more. It has everything one would want. We enjoyed the king size standard with a sofa, large flat screen TV that moved around to use in bedroom and living area. The full kitchen was great. We never ate in as we had a full Hot breakfast every morning and enjoyed our nights out. We also enjoyed the pool, which was a little cool this time of the year, but loved the hot tub! They had 2 outside grills, which we did not use and also a fireplace outside and in the lobby. The staff was always pleasant!!! And anything we might ask or needed they provided. Great Place to stay for convenience, shopping, dining and exploring. And most of all price was excellent! Fabulous stay!

The hotel itself seemed to be clean; however, my room wasnt the cleanest. Brown, dried up urine on toilet that I asked to be cleaned upon entering the room was never cleaned. I checked in Sunday and out Friday (5 nights), never received housekeeping service, even after calling front desk to request it. I was told they did not have housekeeping available at that time. Pool was down for first three days of our stay, which was really a bomber since I intentionally chose a Residence Inn knowing they had a pool and basketball court for my two teenage boys.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was excellent and breakfast was excellent! The floor in our room had not been mopped for a very long time. We are clean people and when we spilled anything on the floor, we used a paper towel to clean up and found out the floor had probably never been mopped since remodel. The fitted bed sheet did not fit the bed and kept coming off which was very annoying. The bed was hard and the pillows were of poor quality. Bathtub was not cleaned & sanitized(just wiped down). The location is right by 98 hwy and the road noise was insane all hours of the day!

I specifically asked for an end room and was told they didn’t have one. I was given room 121 and after unloading our stuff my husband said we’re not staying in this room and showed me the hair and toenail clippings all over the living room area. Absolutely disgusting. I went to the front desk and asked for another room and was put in 101, and end room, which I was told they didn’t have… that room was cleaner than the other one but still had hair in the bathroom and fingernails in the living room. I don’t know why it’s so hard to run a vacuum but they clearly aren’t doing it. We stayed at the hotel the week before and had no issue so not sure what happened but we wouldn’t recommend this hotel after this last experience.

This is one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in. We had the two bedroom suite. Beds were super comfy and I loved being able to have my little dog with us. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Also one of the better continental breakfasts. Five stars across the board. We’ll definitely stay here again.

My check in was good. The room only had one tv that had to be shared. I didn't like that. Also that was the only way to have any sort of privacy. The next day I discovered blood stains on the sheet and the following day on the blanket. This was horrifying for me. Like how did house keeping missed that when cleaning and changing everything in the room. In the bathroom the toilet was clogged on the first night. It wouldn't flush properly. Also the toilet paper rack was coming off the wall. These matters was told to the front desk and I was told that management would get with me the next day. Guess what that never happened. But that's life right?

This hotel was excellent. Our room was so clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was so efficient, nice, and helpful. As soon as we called for anything we needed the staff was right up to bring it. Their continental breakfast has different options everyday and it's all kept fresh and well. We will be staying here again. The pool and hottub were perfect too. 10/10 do recommend.

The guy that check me and my family was great but the room was crazy dirty and have a smoke smell we wouldn’t sleep in the room with my kids… we was just so tired to go back to the front and try to change home and with three kids that was just too much.. I just clean it myself well the best way and open the window ect… I had to look somewhere else the last night instead for just adding one more night..

Everything was good. The 2 bedroom suite worked out good for our family, we enjoyed the area and the hotel amenities, the breakfast was good, and we appreciated the coffee through out the day. The only minus is the constant noise from the busy road in front of the hotel. Get a room that faces the entrance of the hotel if you can, it's quieter.

5 night stay, 1 housekeeping service at the end, trash taken and towels delivered but old ones left in room. Breakfast selection poor, and breakfast area woefully inadequate. Delayed check in, claimed rooms weren’t available due to late checkouts… I’d suspect housekeeping understaffed to cut costs… It was only going to be 10 more minutes for well over an hour… The reception said the Manager was coming to speak to us (in 10 minutes) but never did. At checkout never asked about our stay (my face must have said enough) ’ll never book here again.

Beautiful, clean property. Rooms were well kept and not outdated. Service was AMAZING. Everyone was absolutely fantastic! Located in an excellent area, tons of shopping and dining options. Very safe area! Only down side that is not under the control of the property, was the loud cars speeding by since it is close to a main Highway.

The stay was very nice but when you book a room for four adults you would think they would have the bedding for the pullout couch in the room but I called shortly after we checked in an he said he would send it right up we left to go an get food for dinner an left two people there so there was two people there to get the bedding from them we got back an they still didn’t send it up I had to call again he brought it up but he forgot to bring the pillows an the two blankets I asked for he brought up two towels instead of blankets an they don’t have enough coffee in the room for two nights at all if the room is set up for 4 people then the bedding should be in the room there breakfast was outstanding

If you look at the Orbitz website, the first two photos of this hotel feature in ocean Beach and lounge chairs. Guess what this hotel is 5 miles from the closest beach. If you want an oceanfront hotel, you’re looking at the wrong place.

Great location for shopping, restaurants and about a 15 min walk to Baytowne Village. Pleasantly surprised with the kitchen options of 2 pan stove, fridge, microwave, plates and glasses and utensils. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Definitely a great option to be in the Sandestin area and walking distance. Will stay again!

I did like the staff! Did not like how our room wasn’t fully cleaned (floors). Big fan of hotel breakfast foods, the food when we got there at 9:00 was not great. The oatmeal was bland, the eggs were rubbery, the toast had a strange flavor, and even the biscuits were weird. I did appreciate having oat milk for the cereal!
