As the other reviews stated and we were aware when staying; breakfast is poor. Eggs were watery, food is bland, the juice machine also tastes more like water, no fresh food available. Breakfast was not great, yet the service was helpful..the walk in pool was nice for the younger kids, it was clean and convenient in location.

They had the hotel booked for the memorial weekend we arrived in Wednesday and until Saturday they only had one elevator “working “ because it felt like it’s was going to broke down it was horrible every time I used the elevator I thought I was going to be stuck there for hrs horrible

The hotel was clean. The website said lounge and bar. The reason we booked got there it wasn’t open the whole stay. We was told it just say it on website. That they don’t have liquor license is what the manager told me. Also stayed 10 minutes walk from beach. Definitely takes longer than 10 minutes. Service was very average.

Booking: I couldn't contact facility via their phone number to book the room initially. (At check-in They told "They were having problems with that.") Booked an Accessible room thru Expedia. Registering/Check in: We Pre-registered the day before arrival. Upon arrival and checking in: Either the staff doesn't understand the American English Language or, they just don't listen when spoken to. Communicating with them was a problem. It took 45 minutes to get a room key (too a totally unsatisfactory room - farthest from the elevator - I'm 83 and unable to walk far THIS THEY WERE AWARE OF) Thirty minutes later we had keys to an acceptable room on the first floor (like I asked for when first starting to register). REGISTERING TOOK 90 MINUTES!! (The only time I had this kind of problem in the past was at the Julfa Hotel in Isfahan, Iran) Amenities: I asked if there was WiFi. They gave me some rigmarole about fiber wiring not being done properly by the men ... I asked again "Yes or No. Is WiFi available?" Their response was more rigmarole... I implored "IS THERE WIFI?" Answer: "No" (Me: Thank You) Same again i when I spotted a closed bar in the hotel lobby, "When is the bar going to open"... "No, it was being refurbished" My wife and I had business with other people staying at the hotel. So we booked the room there, rather than elsewhere. And boy, were we sorry we did so!

We had a great time. The pool was clean, rooms were clean, everyone was friendly. The only thing we noticed was the remote for the tv might have needed fresh batteries. It took a couple of tries to turn it on or off but we didn’t ask for any so can't complain. 100% would recommend.

The property is close to beach if walking. I did not like there was no bar or food at the hotel except breakfast. I was told it opens July 4th. The breakfast is not a great selection everything is processed to accommodate volume rather than experience. Also the elevator needs work had to take stairs and that was not on my vacation list.

Our room was not clean, floor was dirty, bugs was in the room , ironing board was broke . Reported it to housekeeper about room and ironing board and front desk. Was told one would be sent up, never was, we went out to buy us a small ironing board. It was our anniversary and the stay was not the best and I wouldn’t stay again.

Overall it is a good place to stay at a reasonable price. Our room was clean but the hallways were not very clean. There was only a very thin shade on the window and I woke up at 5:30 each morning due to the sunlight.

I would rate this as one of the worst stays ever in my life. No, I’m not someone that ask for a lot. However, hair on pillows, what appears to be bed bug droppings, dirt linens, undeveloped management, and utter chaos is not okay. I highly recommend not staying here and I highly suggest Expedia remove this hotel from its listings.

The hotel is filthy. The room was filthy, stains on both bedding. We had to get new bedding and completely remake the beds. Food all on the floor in the room. Carpets in the hallway covered in stains and food. Lobby area covered in food all day and night from breakfast. Asked for a manger for 3 days then was told the manager would not be calling me back regarding anything.

First our sheets and blankets were dirty and a dirty cleaning rag was found in our room. I called the front desk which she said bring them to me and show me and i’ll get you some more. then we found holes in the sheets. bathroom was not cleaned very well at all. especially the shower. Had ac issues which I was first told nothing they could do until the next day but that quickly changed. I wasn’t sleeping in a hot room. so we got a new room. after that it was a little better.

The staff was so nice and the property was well taken care of. The room was not dirty, but definitely could’ve been cleaned better. It was as if they cleaned up any areas where people walked and anything sticky, but the corners and tables and lamps all could use a good wip down. This place was nice, however, I have never stayed somewhere that has such poor noise blocking from the doors and walls. You could hear peoples conversations from their rooms several rooms away. If someone was outside your door it felt like they were in the room with you. So if you’re looking for somewhere to get a peaceful nights sleep, this isn’t the right spot, but if you don’t care then it was great.

It was a cool stay. Close by everything. Only problem I had was the beds are not as comfortable and the walls are so thin. I woke up to screaming and laughing at 3a from people in the halls. It was like they were right there at our door.

Beds very comfortable. Walk able distance to beach, although we did drive. Nice pool. Breakfast could be better . Same eggs and sausage every day. There is only one waffle maker, so you stand in line forever.

The included breakfast was fine but several items were gone by the time we arrived an hour before breakfast ended. The hotel location was great. Clean, comfortable rooms. Location overall was very good as well. However, Laquinta as a corporate came way short of expectations for the "little things" that make for a great experience. No smart TVs, our wi-fi was not accessible on the 4th floor. The soap size in the bathrooms is a joke, barely larger than a quarter. Shampoo and conditioner in tiny bottles, unfit for a family. (They should mount on the walls like Fairfield). If you need a clean place to stay, with comfortable beds, this was nice. But the other things distracted from what could have been. . .

For the most part, the staff during the day was great with the exception of the girl that runs the breakfast area. Very rude would not answer questions. The breakfast food was totally disgusting. We were there three days. They did not clean our room not once we would have to go to the front desk to get clean towels ourselves. I won’t be staying there again.

Hotel is ok. We went with our service dog and on Saturday night someone hit the door like crazy (twice), we thought the door would be broken. When we opened the door nobody was there. We called the front desk but they could not check the cameras until the next day. Next day Jennifer from the front desk called us accusing my dog for barking all night which was not true. We have been in the room since 8 pm. She was SO RUDE. The floor was full of other dogs which barks all the time..

Check in was a breeze so I thought. We arrive early and was told to come back during check in time. Cool no problem. I ask the front desk clerk could I go ahead and pay and just come back to pick up room keys. She said yes and we did just that. Everything was great afterwards. The problem comes in because the next morning and we are getting ready for the day and something told me to check my bank account. I was charged 3 times leaving me and my family of 5 with 122 dollars to spend for another 2 days. I was very livid and when I went to the desk to tell the lady what she did. All she could do was say it wasn't her who pre-authorization my card 3 times leaving us with nothing. Instead of her apologizing and taking accountability she blame everyone but herself. Then lied and said a manager will be on the property all day. Didn't even get to speak with a manager or no one in management. Thank you for ruining a family trip that was meant for my nephews to forget about the passing of their mother being tragically killed. Also breakfast was awful. They eggs were supper wet and loose. The sausage were undercooked.

Great stay my wife was impressed, she hadn't stayed at a Laquita in awhile. the bartender was awesome, the building itself was well kept and clean. if we have the opportunity again we will return. only issue would be the access its off the main road with one entrance but the traffic makes things more difficult but that the whole city.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miramar Beach-Destin is in a nice location. It is close to the beach and has lots of restaurants. The rooms were functional. There is no carpet in the rooms. For me that is fine but if I am going to walk barefoot, the floors don't just need to be vacuumed they also need to be washed. If you go, you should bring a pair of slippers with you to use in the rooms. They have a breakfast for guest every day but it ends at 9 AM. For those of us who like to sleep in especially on weekends, it would be great if the hours were extended to 11 am. Also, for those of us who love coffee, please have real half and half not powdered creamer. I can't use that and it is not the same as half and half. Also, the offerings for breakfast need to be replenished.

Great place, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Only issues I have are accessibility. There is one way in and out on one side of the road. If you are traveling the opposite direction, you have to go up the road, u-turn and then come back down the road so you can access the entrance. There is no back or side entrance to the parking lot

We wanted to have a budget hotel that is at least walkable to the beautiful beach. And this was a perfect choice just because the facility is at least somewhat newer than others. Staff are all friendly and approachable. Though some access walkways to the beach have been closed, it was still a manageable walk from the hotel to the beach. Or just a really short drive to shopping areas and the beach. Nice overall!

Hotel was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good but the main entree (eggs and meat) needs to be changed out for something else like different kind of eggs etc. Waffles are good every day. But, for those staying several nights, the same breakfast every morning got old.

There are no fruits in breakfast. There are no egg whites or potatoes in breakfast. Same breakfast for 3 days. Juice from vending machine is so watery. Not many options for breads. No cup cakes or muffins. Two reminders for staff to provide body lotion and was never given.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. It was so disappointing to see that the bar was unavailable. According to staff, it's under renovation... But there was no semblance or proof of construction or renovations started. Breakfast was NOT a good experience. The eggs were gross, the apple juice tasted watered down, and it was difficult to get to parts of the breakfast area because people were waiting in line for waffles which put them in the way of the eggs and sausage. Also, it's smack dab in the middle of a vacation destination, so I found it hard to understand why breakfast ended at 9 am! I'm not going to work, but I have to wake up early to get breakfast! Ridiculous! I don't know if we'll be back. Hopefully, they make some changes.

The continental breakfast can be better, need to add fresh fruits and variety of natural juices. Also should extend the breakfast time… 2 hours not enough for the quantity of guess on the hotel. They run out of food too fast.
