My husband and I spent 4 restful nights at this cozy spot. The hosts have thought of everything a guest could want. They provide a detailed information sheet about the village, with local eating options - plus a notebook with instructions about how to use the appliances. The beds and linens were great. The bookshelf was full of maps for walks all through the area- we had fun and successfully found our way back home each time! We had a lovely 4 days!

Beds and linen were so comfortable we did not want to get up! Hostess was so friendly and helpful with local information. Central position for visiting local places of interest.Would stay here again if in the area

I stayed at the property for 3 nights with my 12 year old son and my Mum. The Byre had everything we needed. Would not recommend for cosy evenings in as the sofa and armchair are small and not the most comfortable but otherwise we couldn't fault it. As we didn't spend much time sitting around, it was fine for us.
