We stayed at this hotel while visiting Sequoia National Park. The hotel is located 12 minutes from the park entrance which allowed us to visit the Visitor center and Balanced rock the same evening we arrived. Parking is free, common area is clean, spacious and bright. Breakfast area is big and breakfast is very yummy, waffles were our favorite, as well as yogurts and oranges. Would be nice to have plain oatmeal as an option to flavored variety offered. The outdoor activities stretch beyond just the pool which was awesome and popular among guests. Kids had a choice to play axe throwing, corn hole, jenga, connect four which were right next to the pool. Hot tub was very nice and let us cool off after a day of hiking while enjoying great mountain view. Housekeeping was nice and replaced towels as requested. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Unfortunately, the pool area was very disappointing. More than half of the sun loungers were completely broken: either the seat or the backrest was damaged and unusable. The covers of the parasols were scattered around the pool area and simply thrown onto the broken loungers, which made the space look very neglected. Only one lounger had a cushion available, which is far from sufficient for guests who want to relax by the pool. I strongly recommend that the hotel invest in new, sturdy sun loungers and remove all the broken ones, it’s really not a pleasant sight. It would also be great if guests could receive a proper-sized pool towel instead of the very small towels currently provided, which are far too small to lie on comfortably. This would really improve the pool experience for future guests.

It was a wonderful room. The laudry was clean and the jacuzzi was warm (although it had a chemically odor), but we choose this lication fir the Tesla chargers abd they do habe 4 charging stations in the back, but they were down our entire stay, which made us have to get our car towed to charge

It is a good location. A nice breakfast that is included. They have 1 building that has 2 floors without an elevator, but they were able to change our rooms when we asked. There are laundry facilities.

Parking is ample but could be possibly tight on weekends. Has couple of Tesla NACS destination chargers but I noticed ICE cars park at will at these spaces.

The pool and hot tub were a perfect place to unwind after hiking at Sequoia National Park all day. The beds were comfy and the staff was really helpful and efficient. There was a convenience store and restaurants within a short walk, which was very convenient. Location was great! The coffee was meh and the exercise room was basically a closet, but if you are there for the national park, you have everything you need.

The hotel is nice. Outdoor pool closed for the season and hot tub was originally closed but the management did turn it back on. The exercise room is very small and you must ask the front desk for the key needed to use the tread mill and then go back and ask for the code to use the sauna. I used room towels when I used the sauna and the next day I was limited to the number of towels to one per person. Use the pool towels for exercise and hot tub but again you must ask for them at the front desk. I assume they have had problems with guests stealing the towels and taking the exercise machine key. But, it was kind of annoying to me. Anyway the hotel is nice and they offer a large breakfast for your start to a morning of hiking at the National Park. Down the street is a market to get all the things you need along with a pizza place. I liked the food truck further down the road towards the park. You need a car.

Terrible or non-existing cleaning. The property has a very convenient location and from outside it looks so beautiful! BUT when we arrived to the room, after a 4 hrs driving and with little kids, the room was prepared as it was "ready for us" but it was completely dirty!! The bed sheets and pillow covers were dirty and with hairs, the bathroom was not cleaned although the towels were beautifully arranged, and the carpet seems like it was never cleaned before. After like 2 hours of my kids walking in it, they have their foots completely black! I talked to the front desk and they go to the room and changed everything and cleaned the bathroom after the personnel confirmed that it was not cleaned.

Overall it was great. However, I did not appreciate having cobwebs/spider webs in the room (by the bathroom mirror). I think this comfort Inn has so much potential but it really needs someone to look at details like removing webs.

Spiders! Spiders! Spiders! This place is covered in spider webs and spiders! They are everywhere! The exterior stucco, the fencing, the tables near the pool and even the parking lot signs! This hotel is seriously lacking in cleanliness. The elevator has got to be one of the filthiest I have ever seen. Carpet inside elevator looked like it had never been cleaned and every single surface where a child could touch appeared to be covered in dirty hand prints. This included the elevator, hallway and our room door. At check-in the receptionist chastised me for not letting the hotel know that we had someone with mobility issues and could not climb the stairs. She then proceeded to complain about how she had to move another guest to accommodate us. They had apparently put us in a room only accessible via stairs. I didn’t realize that in this day and age of ADA compliance that there existed rooms in hotels that were not accessible via an elevator. I would never stay here again. I recommend if traveling to Sequoia National Park, stay at a hotel in another city. Restaurants and hotels in this city are seriously lacking.

Bath tub was dirty with two large cracks, one of them open. Doubt it would hold water. Carpet was so dirty our feet got dirty from walking on it. It was hot outside with temps in the 90s and AC would not keep up. Turned it down to 67, but still too hot to sleep. Door jambs and door edges were dirty. We requested housekeeping and were gone until about 2p, but they didn’t show. At least the bed was clean and comfortable. Staff at check-in was nice, and decent breakfast. Very disappointing for a Comfort Inn.

We enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to dining, shopping, and of course Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. What we did not like was the cleanliness of our room. Or, lack thereof. There appeared to be questionable stains on the couch where my son was supposed to sleep on the pull out. The bed in the pull out couch looked like the linen hadn't been changed in a very long time. When I asked for replacement linens and blanket, I was told they ran out of blankets, but did provide clean sheets. The bed inside the couch was horrendous and not even my 13 year old son could stand it. It is a very old spring mattress and when you lay on it, it becomes flattened and the springs poke in to you.

Overall, it was decent but not great. The main complaint is that the beds were very soft and felt old. We had two queen size beds and both were equally uncomfortable. We kept waking up and didn’t get a good night’s sleep.

We have stayed in a number of hotels when touring California. This is a lower 3 star with the basic set of amenites in the room. Reception was prompt and we were allocated a ground floor room. The room was quite tired and had an uncomfortable dish shaped bed. The shower was adequate and there needs to be some more storage space. Free Parking is right out side the room. The breakfast arrangements are very basic. The hotel is next to a busy road and we were occasionally woken up by noise outside. We had an infestation of ants in the room while we were there.

We stayed at rm 243, there's this loud sort of rushing water in a pipe that keeps on going for hours, sounds like there's somebody using a large amount of water that resonates in the room. So annoying, my wife and i barely slept due to this noise.

The place was clean and the staff was nice. Two small complaints. The last day they were very low on items for breakfast. There is no cell service so using the wifi is a must. To use the wifi you need to sign in each day and watch a commercial prior to connecting. The only way around this is to join their loyalty program. Frustrating.

The A/C - heating system was so noisy that despite of ear plugs it felt like a truck was driving in the room. We didnt sleep at all (ironic for an hotel room). Since we had 2 nights we asked for some alternative solutions for the second night but staff as well as Joseph the manager couldn't care less and simply ignored our request

This is a great location at the base of the mountain that leads into Sequoia & Kings Canyon National parks. The included breakfast was very good each morning. The customer service was excellent. We decided to head home a day early and they refunded us for a half day, which I did not request or expect.

We loved the location. It was 10 miles from the entrance of the park. Local restaurants were great, hotel was clean and breakfast was very good as well. Staff was amazing especially Jude! He went above and beyond to help me with my computer. He called me during the evening to show me what I was having trouble with. All went really well and without his help, I wouldn’t have had directions on my cars GPS! He was so patient and kind. Such a nice man and a pleasure to have known!

If you can’t get a reservation within Sequoia, this hotel is just a few miles from the Park entrance and more economical than staying in the Park. Free breakfast and nice pool area with games to relax after a hike. Great market nearby.

We stayed 1 night but found the hotel clean and comfortable. The room had a large fridge and coffee maker. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it was clean and a nice space to relax. Quite a large area for breakfast and there was a variety of hot/ cold items on offer but the area was busy. Some restaurants and a grocery store (expensive) within walking distance - we had takeout pizza which was very good.
