The views were outstanding!! The stairs down tl the beach were really not that bad...thats even with a wagon we had to carry! Breakfast was good for being free. I saw them loading new mattresses around the compound so that was really nice. New carpet smell too. Two things i wish was better....clean up the pool tiles withhin the pool...kinda grimy, and the spa jets didnt work. That was a bummer. But we would absolutely stay here again! Stay parked here, and walk down to Pomeroy...its not bad at all

My fiancé and I loved the hotel. It was so beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean and beach access. My only complaint would be that it wasn’t stated anywhere on the booking that their rooftop was going to be under construction the weekend I went. I paid the extra money to stay at the nicer hotel for their cool amenities, had I known that wasn’t available I possibly would’ve booked somewhere else. But! My fiancé and I definitely want to return to be able to experience the rooftop. Hopefully!

Beautiful property, with amazing views! There are several fire pits, two spas with one being adults only. Large grassy area with cornhole. Great for families with kids. Love that you can grab breakfast and either sit out on the main patio or take it back to your room and enjoy from your own balcony which all have great views. We can’t wait to visit again!

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Needed some extra blankets and towels, they were able to sand them within 10 minutes . Breakfast is OK but you have plenty of options within walking distance. Only complaint is their housekeeping is on request only yet we weren't informed at check-in so when we came back the room was not cleaned, had to call the front desk for it.

Our King room with a view was small and the shutters lessen the view. Then the glass balcony guard was filthy with water spots and bird poop. They came to clean it but it didn’t clean. The view was what we went there for. It was very noisy because the children were screaming all the time. It’s a dog friendly hotel and there was pee and poop ever where on the grass. Our refrigerator didn’t work and I asked to fix it but they never did. The places outside are run down and the pool was cold so all the kids were in the jacuzzi so no adults could get in. For the price it’s not worth it. There are so many other hotels that we will try.

Staff at check out gave every guest all of the details of the place except for me. Not sure why. Maybe got distracted or forgot. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. And housekeeping never came to my room. The fridge one night started making the worst noise that kept waking me up which sucked being that I was there for work and had to be up early. Other wise, the room was very nice. And the view was beautiful

For the $400+ per night rate I expected a better room. Soap holder and other things in shower were painted over. AC was very loud and did not seem to work accurately. Had to basically beg for clean towels; took a few phone calls to receive them in an untimely manner

Breakfast was good. Fire pits nice. The room was spacious and clean. But the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It was hard and had big lump on the middle of it. That was disappointing.

Pro: close to restaurants and steps from the beach. Clean newly renovated rooms. Easy checkout, options available for a fee to stay later. Free parking. Cons: pool was not heated enough. It was still cold to swim in. Walls were too thin and you can hear the other room.

We’ve been visiting and staying in the Ocean view King rooms for a few years. This year we unexpectedly booked during the Car show weekend (weekend offer Memorial Day.) I checked in on Saturday and we left on Tuesday. This hotel needs to have better control over their parking lot so they can provide reasonable parking for their paying guests. Several parking spots were occupied by large containers and large storage trailers; in another instance five spots were taken for one guest and his sideways car trailer. Further, some of the parking spaces are so tight that after I parked my standard F150 other cars parked on each side and I could not access my vehicle doors until the other cars moved. **DOOR DINGS** What’s worse, when we were leaving I found 7 long carpentry nails rolling around on my moonroof, and a couple in the bed of my truck—this is when I was parked in the row at the hotel level below the restaurant. On another note, the bed in our room was like concrete. I don’t know if they changed the mattresses or this one was just old, but it’s Wednesday and I’m still sore. The beds on the south side of the lobby have always been soft enough with good support. Overall, the service is good. The views and the location is excellent. The amenities are a bonus.

The place was clean, well kept up. There were a lot of tables and comfy outside furniture, which was wonderful. Even though it was crowded certain parts of the day, there were always spots to sit and relax. Lots of room, walkways, so it never felt too overcrowded, uncomfortable. It was such a wonderful place to stay, so with the 2 negatives or frustrations that drove us crazy, they stood out. **The ocean view rooms.... -When you want to lay down in the evening and listen to the ocean, and late into the darkness all you here are the cornhole bags hitting the boards. -The shutters are not a good idea on the sliding glass doors. Maybe if the track went further over, like the barn door sliders, to clear the windows? You could not get a full beautiful view; it was more like a single French door. **So, if we would have gotten a standard room, there wouldn't have been an issue. When we have a couple's trip, no kids, we want the beautiful calm peace of the ocean.

On our arrival on July 10, at 8 o’clock at night, no one was at the Checkin desk. We have to wait quite a few minutes. When the check agent finally arrived, I mentioned that it was our 25th anniversary and that we would love to have a quiet room over in the ocean. I also asked if we could check in a little later. The response was very rude, saying that the checkout was at 11 AM And that after that there was a $30 charge. We weren’t able to sleep at all as the room was very noisy. The ceiling was vibrating because the guest up above decided to have wild sex a night and walk very fast back-and-forth the room, I don’t know if they were changing each other. The guest next to us chose to listen to the TV at a very high volume. The room had a partial ocean view, blocked by a bunch of people barbecuing until late and making a lot of noise. The main entrance door to the room was facing the parking lot, with cars parking in and out all night long. In the morning, around 6 AM, a huge pick up truck engine with the exhaust pipe, pointing at our entrance door, woke me up, after I was finally able to fall asleep around 5 AM. Horrible, horrible experience. I guess if you have a bunch of kids and adults acting like them, who don’t need any sleep at night, this is the place for you.

Beach access is right there, so low tide is fun on the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The front desk staff listens to requests and are accommodating. This is our second time staying there.

The hotel is misleading. The king ocean room is way smaller than I thought, the water pressure at the hotel sucks, they don’t answer the phone, there is no communication between staff for special notes, we asked for a late checkout and someone came to the room to clean/see if we were out and my keys stopped working. The hotel says pet friendly everywhere but you HAVE to ASK for a pet friendly room or you’ll be charged a nonrefundable $200 “cleaning fee”. They gave me a $30 gift card for the trouble but I’d never come back and wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Dawn at the front desk was a dream! I’ve never met a nicer and more accommodating person before. She knew we were a bit nervous of our room not being ready or not being in the right place, and she ensured it was ready for us and the right room and she greeted us with open arms. Check in is at 4P . I drove from La to relax there knowing my room should be ready . 4P is already late. But anyway , went there around 330P they said I was early , I’m like ok… at 405 I went back to the front desk and they told me room wasn’t ready … I just nod and asked them what’s going on. 438 P they check me in. That is very unfavorable.

We didn’t realize we had the walk so far up and down these giant steps just to get to the beach and how far the hotel is to actual pier and downtown pismo. For those who are not equipped to do long distance walking and stair climbing this is not the hotel for you.

I really enjoyed the fact that there was a restaurant connected to the property of the hotel. We ordered and they brought it right to us. The beach below the property is gorgeous. The hotel is beautiful. You do have to take a car to downtown Pismo beach.

Excellent hotel. Great location - short walk along the beach to downtown. Brilliant pools and hot top. We had balcony sea view. Really nice to sit out at night and look up at the stars. The only feedback I would give the hotel concerns breakfast. It could be more varied - sausage and egg everyday for a four day stay is a bit much. Otherwise, excellent hotel. Would stay again and would recommend.

My daughter and I had the best time at this property. Our room was an ocean front room and we loved sitting on our balcony watching the water. The staff was always so nice. The free cookies were yummy. Lots of parking! Our room was clean. The only downside was the breakfast wasn’t that good. Other than that it was an amazing property and we would definitely be back.

We love SeaCrest. Great atmosphere, great rooms. Breakfast included is above average, and they have small trays to bring food to your room or on your balcony or patio, which is nice. Pool and jacuzzi are good.
