Not too far a drive to Solvang village. Comfortable accommodations, friendly service. Jacuzzi just needed refilling and reheating before we could get in, but the staff accomplished that for us.

O’Cairns is a family owned property and it shows-staff is very friendly, great cooked to order breakfast and two free beverages at happy hour (which starts later in the evening); also free ice cream and dvd movies to rent. The only drawbacks are the pool is not heated, no work out facilities and there was a lot of noise from mowers/blowers and power washing the two times we used the pool. Also needed a to ask for additional towels as the room had one washcloth and hand towel. Overall this is a first choice when visiting Lompoc and if you are an Elk member there is a wonderful lodge directly across the street.

The property was close to the town and food venue's, was quiet at night (that we didn't hear when people next door came and went), the pool was nice and clean. All who work there were nice and pleasant. Would stay again!

Staff was really great. They were friendly, helpful, available at front desk 24/7. Bistro was fun with games, quick service, incredible people, spacious, it's like a family-friendly sports bar. Start the day right with the breakfast choices, then return later for the flatbread pizza.

We had a good stay;however, the ice machine was broken and front desk had no clue . Front desk instructed us where to get ice and where it was located. When we went to get the ice it read “ out of order”. Front desk should have known not to send us to that machine since it was dark ,and a near a dark hallway. We stayed a few days and no one checked in with us for clean towels or make our beds. Over all we had a good stay. Breakfast was good.

The staff are great at this hotel but the overall conditions are poor. The jacuzzi was dirty and the jets are way off. The pool had alot of algae on the sides. The breakfast was great tho they ran out of avocado. The bar was hopping and the free drink and free ice cream are great. The carpet in the room seemed dirty and the bed is rather hard. The showerhead/jet was strong but the faucet was broken. The tv remote also didn't work....

Such a nice place to stay! The staff was so nice, the place was clean, the beds were really comfortable AND the Bistro is 10/10! Their breakfast is so delicious and free! They offer a build your own omelette or breakfast burrito with two sides and a drink for free if you stay at the hotel. ALSO you get two free alcoholic drinks per adult at the bistro/ bar which doesn’t close till 11pm! They have a full bar, and pool tables. Such a great atmosphere. The pool/jacuzzi doesn’t close till 10pm, they also have an outside hangout/ fire area. AND one of the best parts is if you’re there for strictly business all of these amenities are a short walk across the parking area so it’s not too loud to sleep at night. I’m 22 weeks pregnant and fell asleep like a baby at 10pm with no issues. Just stay here it’s worth every penny!

Check in was a breeze and after driving all day, it was a welcome moment. The room was clean and set nicely. After our first night I stopped by reception to request an extra coffee packet for the next day. Not only did we receive it for the next day but we did again every day after. The room was reset perfectly every day. We will be back on the next trip. Excellent experience all around. Thank you.

The stay started off well enough with an easy check-in. My kids and I went to the spa immediately, but the water was low and the water was cloudy and dirty. I was uncomfortable sitting in it. When we went to get our free breakfast at the restaurant we were left waiting for long minutes at our table for our order to be taken, and then waited an excessively long time after we received our drinks for the food itself. While we waited, we got up to play foosball, and three waitresses all separately tried to clear our table while we were away from it. (The restaurant was NOT crowded. They could clearly see us playing Foosball!) One server took our silverware! When our food finally came it was bland, stale (reheated?), and the pancakes were chewy. My kids didn't eat the pancakes, I barely ate any of my own food. I refused to take my kids back the next day, and instead spent $60 on a fantastic breakfast at American Hospitality. The room itself is comfortable but needs minor maintenance. I told the manager that carpet nails at the bathroom door poked both my and my son's feet. Lastly the room was not cleaned despite my specific request for housekeeping that morning, and then again in the afternoon. I ended up just going to the front desk to get new towels that evening. I made my complaint to the manager/owner and he offered apologies but no compensation. He was nice, but... I will not be staying here again.

Room 246 had dog hair on bed cover . Room 245 had feces in the toilet bowl. Carpet was not vacuumed. The amount of dust made it hard to breathe. On one of the beds the Box spring collapsed on one side during sleep ,which led to a terrible sleep . The Manager refused to give a discount,because the room was booked with hotel.com.

We have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed our stay and the great perks they offer, free made to order breakfast, free drinks at the bar, full size refrigerator in every room and very friendly service. This stay, however, was difficult because of the loud and continuous noise of the refrigerator in our room! Very hard to sleep!

Generally speaking hotel is a good quality one in terms of service, breakfast quality, however the comfortness and condition, the room is too small, narrow space ( for two queen bedroom) comparing with its almost $200 per night cost. The bath towel supplied is not enough.

Overall it was a clean hotel and the staff was nice. The added breakfast and drinks is a huge plus. But the people above us were running around until midnight and there was someone lighting fireworks for hours all night on a random early June night. And outside the room there was a lot of foot traffic and laughter and conversation entered the thin walls easily. It was just too noisy to sleep comfortably. Again this was all happening well past midnight. The room itself was clean but the furniture was old and needed to just be replaced. Lots of peeling and chips on the wood. The bathroom smelled of mildew and the fan was really loud. Probably wouldn't stay there again. But most of my complaints are beyond the hands of staff, so I didnt bother saying anything. Not a bad hotel, but for 200 a night I could have stayed somewhere quieter.

The bed is awesome, and having a restaurant attached is fabulous. The food is great. The staff is wonderful. The fan in the bathroom is too noisy and there needs to be better options for charging phones bedside but still a nice place to stay.

I love O’Cairns! It definitely serves the purpose- clean, comfortable, great location and parking. The staff are friendly, accommodating. They made my day- upgraded me to a suite!! Thank you O’Cairns! See you again!!

Check in was a breeze and after driving all day, it was a welcome moment. The room was clean and set nicely. After our first night I stopped by reception to request an extra coffee packet for the next day. Not only did we receive it for the next day but we did again every day after. The room was reset perfectly every day. We will be back on the next trip. Excellent experience all around. Thank you.

We had a good stay;however, the ice machine was broken and front desk had no clue . Front desk instructed us where to get ice and where it was located. When we went to get the ice it read “ out of order”. Front desk should have known not to send us to that machine since it was dark ,and a near a dark hallway. We stayed a few days and no one checked in with us for clean towels or make our beds. Over all we had a good stay. Breakfast was good.

Although the hotel is old and has a traditional feel, it was very clean and the room was nice. We also appreciated the happy hour at the restaurant, where hotel guests could enjoy two complimentary drinks. The service at the restaurant was excellent as well. The free breakfast was also delicious. Overall, I think this hotel offers great value for the price. The only downside was the woman at the front desk during check-in. She didn’t seem very friendly. We had to wait quite a while, possibly due to some issue, but there was no explanation—she just handed us the key card and had us sign something. Despite that, it’s the kind of hotel I’d want to return to.

While checking in I asked them clearly about breakfast served till 9am but they said no it’s exception (July 5th)for the day served till 11am even though our family was up and running postponed breakfast till 10am but they said it’s already closed not restaurant was closed at 9am. We had to leave the room with 3 children with no food. Very disappointed for the price we paid for a hotel which was just average.

This hotel was really well run, with friendly staff, good location, excellent food ( we had dinner and breakfast), and really great end-to end experience. The service and facilities really redefine excellence. I gave 5 stars, but they deserve a higher rating. I hope to come back to Lompoc so we can stay here again.

The wait staff was doing the best they could, running their legs off, but the hang-up seems to be in the kitchen, where there is only one cook. I don’t know if the kitchen could accommodate a second cook, but it would help if it could.

I have zero conplaints about the hotel, it was comfortable, relaxing and quiet. Staff was great no issues, i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to stay in Lompoc or looking for a place close to Solvang. Now for the little restaurant where you get your complimentary breakfast.. lunch or dinner. It is chaotic, me and my wife waited almost 35 minutes before we decided to leave. They are very unorganized although its probably not intentional, it is an inconvenience for sure. We left and just got breakfast somewhere else. There were ppl waiting to get something to drink before we got there and still nothing when we left. Then there was a couple that had walked in about 20 minutes after we got there, went to the bar, and they were served while we were waiting trying to at least have someone come ask us what we want to drink. That never happened at all.. sorry but its a thumbs down for me..

We love O'Cairns Inn for the friendly service, great made to order breakfast and drinks at their bar! We also can request water that is complimentary! The full size refrigerator in the room is great for storing our wine purchases and any restaurant left overs! Our only complaint is the towels provided are not enough for a couple staying together in one room. We were given two bath towels, one hand towel and one face cloth. You can request more, but it is not convenient to have to do that every day.
